Has anyone seen the new FOLKLORE trailer it looks excellent. But the game itself ain't all that. Let's hope Heavenly Sword looks better than that. Europeans usually get games later than others, im pretty used to that but when they postpone release 4 days before the release at 25 days whitout reason makes me a bit angry...

Sony has always been on longterm plan. its slow but very deadly, whereas microsoft is running hasty with its pants on its ankle.

[...] Our favorite question in the “interview” is when Barlog asks himself if he could sit one person in front of his game, who would it be? Barlog answers himself, “Jack Thompson. I think after 5 minutes of playing the game that hard crunchy exterior would melt away and reveal his candy coated liberal center.” Best answer ever! Only to be outdone a few moments later saying that he doesn’t really consider Min-E3 a real E3, so when he attends this year it’ll be his “7 and 1/2″ time going. He also says he wants to play BioShock (a non-PS3 title as far as we know, which is kinda refreshing to see on the site). We hope to actually speak to Barlog at Min-E3 about Chains of Olympus, or at least host witness to him talking to himself about it. By the way, we’re totally kidding around here about Barlog interviewing himself. It’s just that the byline to the Sony post says it was written by Cory Barlog instead of giving the actual author who then pasted Barlog’s answers into the ongoing series.
cmack98: Yes, I remember that. I was at BottleRocket at the time, working on the sequel to "The Mark of Kri" called "Rise of the Kasai". I had my own small shop in the Scranton area for two years after that, and just came back to Sony in March of '07. I'm a senior artist on the NBA 08 game (which is looking and playing great BTW).

As far as the Manhunt 2 game someone mentioned, it reminds me of the issues surrounding "Mortal Kombat" when it first went to the home consoles. Nintendo changed the blood from red to gray, making it look like sweat and toned back the fatalities. Sega ran with the blood and gore for their port, and outsold Nintendo's version 3 to 1. Could the same happen with "Manhunt 2"? Who knows? It's a very different climate now with the ESRB, post Columbine, post 9/11 world.
