This is an amazing video showing you what Lair is all about. Behind the scenes video takes you to how they were able to put this game together from the ground up. By seeing this video alone, I need no demo, this game looks to have a promising future, and shows the quality these developers have put into the game. Maybe some have seen the video already, but for those who haven’t, enjoy!

I have always loved that you only put the disk and no worries about updates or whatever.

If this game comes out on August, then why is there so little info on it. I like my games spoiler free, but this is ridiculous.

Only thing I can think of is that THIS GAME IS GOING TO SUCK. that is why there is no demo, and barely any info on story or anything. isn’t that what publishers do when they want to sell their bad games?

I hope I am wrong, cause this game looks awesome.

I personally can not believe that some people are actually not going to pick this game up. Factor 5 has never made a game not worth buying. All of the Rouge Squadron games where excellent.

Believe it. I’ve never heard of Factor 5 and looking at their web site and the kinds of games they’ve developed to date…this game has a very high Gigli factor. In plane english it’s got the stink of rent me all over it. But, that’s just my opinion.

Is there any chance of the Lair video that is in the Japanese store making it’s way into the other stores? It’s a great video to build up some hype for this game. I’m relived that the game has gone gold. It needed to be released in the August window, because it’s getting pretty chaotic after then and gamers’ wallet are going to be taking a battering (i.e. Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Home, GTA IV, PES2008, GT5 Prologue, Uncharted, Haze, Unreal Tournament III).

Well, We’ll just have to wait. saw a couple of trailers and in the second one, a Jeep with some guy appears at the end.

Maybe some sort of hunter?

I don’t know. They seem to show that the life is so well recreated that sometimes I feel like it is some kind of side project like Home and you get to choose which animal you want to be and use it.

I just hope it is just not some good graphic game and has some nice features or story.

Yep, me to. I showed my wife a trailer and she wants that game bad. Every time I bring up the 3 she is like “what ever happend to that Afrika game”? Come on Sony hook the info up.

Count me also as one of the people that will wait for a demo. The 360 just crushes the PS3 in terms of demos on almost all of their content, XBLA, and retail games. Please get with the times and start letting us try these games before shelling out $60 for them. I’ve had my PS3 since launch and still waiting to purchase my first game. Would be nice if this was it.

You should be thankful that you get demos at all, Wii owners don’t even get anything except for those old games! Why haven’t you got a game yet, there are plenty of good games out like Resistance, MotorStorm, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Plus their are good multi-platform games like Oblivion.

But to be on topic I will get this game on Day One. I wish we had a demo to whet our appetites and give us a feel for the game, oh well at least we get the Heavenly Sword Demo. Advice to those who are unsure about this game: Rent it or wait until it comes out and read reviews from sites like IGN and Gamespot.

Oh yeah keep up the good work Sony! I like how you listen to what we want and are constantly trying to improve our PS3 experience. Lair will be an excellent start to start off the rest of this year! Then that will get even better when we get into 2008 and have tons of awesome games like Final Fantasy XIII, MGS4, Gran Turismo 5, and Little Big Planet. I can’t wait!

yeah I saw that trailer day one, but that is not what I mean. I know the game looks awesome, but all I am saying is that if the game plays good then they would gladly put out a demo to show of their master piece.

this game looks awesome and is the best use of the sixaxis yet, but does it play good? is it fun? will it get repetitive? Is it a rental or a buy?

I will wait for the reviews, or better yet, that DEMO they told us about at one time.

I got my fingers crossed for this game, you know.

Heavenly Sword, Lair, Drake’s Fortune, Ratchet + Clank and Warhawk make me really glad i own a ps3.

That being said… it’s time to get greedy:)

Is there any way Sony can finesse ps3 versions of Bioshock, Dead Rising or Lost Planet? At the very least i hope when sequels start coming around Sony can beat on Capcom with the money stick.
(or 2k games in respect to Bio)

I did pick up Dead Rising on the 360 but somehow the game is less appealing when you get to play.. ” Run for the save point before the game freezes”

As a loyal PLAYSTATION owner, i love any demo that come out on the network.I have every demo downloaded on my PS3. So any chance to try a game before it comes out is a major plus!!!!!!!! And a lair demo would be the bomb!!!! (it would be greatly appreciated for the executives reading this lol) Also i know you guys at SONY are listening and are already working on the XMB access during a game (Which is awesome) can’t wait for the next update!!!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SONY, 2008 is looking very promosing.

I hope you can address the PlayStation Store issues on mainly third-party support. Today XBOX Live just received a NASCAR 08 and All-Pro Football 2K8. I want All-Pro Football 2K8 but how am I supposed to see if it’s any good? Look at that link to see the multiplatform E3 demos they received and we didn’t. I like you Sony and I don’t want you falling behind. Please, get every multiplatform demo that Live has and then get more.

Man it sucks to be British. We speak English (invented it actually), yet get delayed game releases due to Sony having to support other Euro regions.

I wonder if Sony have ever considered downloadable language packs for games, so all games only ship in English/French/Spanish/German (capturing a very large percentage), and then everyone else has to download language packs to the PS3 for any game they have.

Perhaps the PS3 could have a central translation database that ALL games could use, one that the PS3 downloads and updates when required, and contains translations for all games.

Also, if Eric Lempel ever gets around to reading this for some reason, I’m sorry for taking part in the “in-game XMB” comment bombardment. At least we know you guys are working on it know :)

Speaking of firmware, 1.9 came with a glitch you guys should know about. Sometimes, when exiting Folding@home, our consoles restart completely (the powerdown and powerup beep sounds) instead of going straight to the XMB.

Again, good job with everything Sony, looking forward to Heavenly Sword!
