Hey Sony is the 80 GB PS3 coming to 65nm nanometer cell instead of the 90nm chip that was in the 60Gb. If so that would mean a much cheaper and cooler box. That would be great.

Yes they will buy a 360 just for gta content, your getting the full game with the 360. And my point is $ony has no ps3 exclusive with rockstar, they are telling you this to hope the soon to be 360 owners stay aboard. It’s not hard to see, rockstar annonces that they have extra content for the 360, now all of a sudden $ony has a secretly ps3 exclusive,LOL, but they can’t tell no one about it right now, LOL. This is typical $ony lies, sure they may be releasing a ps3 exclusive in the future, but I’m sure even the 360 and wii will have rockstar exclusives in the future. You kids are so guillable, you should realize how $ony lies all the time.

Kid I could care less how any of the console makers do. I own all 3 and enjoy all 3 for different things. Ps3 outselling the 360, that just happened this past week due to the price drop now it’s back to normal. And yes I do like halo, RFOM now that is a overhyped game. Now let’s get back on track about this exclusive game LOL. You know as well as I do their is no ps3 exclusive, this happened to be announced when everyone found out about the gta being better on the 360. Coincidence, I think not. It’s just $ony trying desperately to keep what little fan base they have together.

Rockstar is unique among all the big game makers in that they have never really produced a title that sucks. Beyond GTA there’s Manhunt, Red Dead Revolver, Bully, The Warriors, and then there’s the incredible Midnight Club series. They pride themselves on setting the bar in the industry and demonstrating what the future of this amazing interactive medium has in store for all of us. (please excuse the cheesy rhetoric)
Sony’s reputation in the industry for fusing high style and technology make’s them the perfect partner for Rockstar Games. So this recent announcement comes as no suprise. What’s suprising is how long it took. For the die hard gamer, these last few months(ok, year) have been a real let down because of all the difficulties developers have had making the transition to next-gen. Next year will see the PS3 finally reach maturity. It’s just a matter of time. I’m very curious now to see if L.A. Noire turns out to be a PS3 exclusive after all!

You are incorrect about the sales, the ps3 is still outselling the 360 World wide, by some 50,000 units. Weekly. And no it was the pasr 3 weeks that the ps3 started outselling it. Seriously if your going to start posting false information dont post it at all.

If your going to talk about lies look at microsoft, there console is breaking,already 90% of the people that have bought the 360 have shipped it in for repairs, and 10 million xbox user fan base vs 120million ps fan base .Also the full game is coming out on both consoles, but an additional episode is going to be released on the 360. Trust me you cant gang up on anyone here its all ps fans.

not having to sign out while playing PS2 or PS1 games.
not having to sign out while playing DVD’s or blurays.
ability to have play list.
extend the comment section to 30 charecters.
more avatars or ability to upload own avatars.
ability to play and show music to other person while chatting.
the option to sharpen or dullen pictures
option to play the next video in the list of movies.
ability to run folding@home while doing remote play.
make time show up in bottom-tight corner when the PS button is held down or pressed.
ability to play music whil doing anything EX. changing information .
AVI support.
being abel to play only the sound in a video.
custimize order in which color you want the XMB background to be.
ability to download latest version of the online instruction manual.
extend the volume control to three clicks.
have a seperate file for add-ons EX. the motorstorm and resistance time attack and map pack respectivily need are merged in the Game Data Utility.
support for all quicktime formats.
recordable DVD and CD support.
copy and paste feature in the web browser.
more RAM memory(i think) for web browsing pages.
failsafe for when the entire browser freezes. you should get a message and an option for if you want to open all the pages next time.
support for the type of movie player that gametrailers.com and gamespot.com use.
ability to chat while surfing net.
aility to slideshow all of your pictures at one time.
ability to chose where you want the message notifications to show up EX. instead of upper-right maybe the middle.

Hopefully it will be a title that is massive and not like The Warriors or Red dead Revolver wich was good games but not massive like GTA. I think they gonna come out with a game that blow us all away..But then again it depends on wich studio makes it. Some games like Manhunt(cool and boreing)is not the way to go..It is entertainment and it should have humour and not just violence. I like to be entertained but i don`t like The guinea Pig movies. Make a good game Rockstar and make us proud to own a Ps3.

I have a great idea, how about you start a thread with some guidelines for a game, and all of us bloggers contribute ideas/suggestions that you can eventually turn into community polls, for a brand new IP backed by some of your best in house talents, then we will all feel like we’re helping to shape the next gen experience on the ps3. or you could make me a Lead Director, and I’ll sign a contract that my ideas, and visions will bring forth a new age upon gaming that no one can compete with… gauranteed.

1.Using the bluetooth feature of the ps3: it would be cool if i could accesss and store media files from my cellphone to my ps3 (just like any other 2 cellphone transfer) via bluetooth.

— I have a se phone, surely this can be made compat

2. When u play ps/ps2 games, still be on the PSN and on the game display to show at least “Playstation _ Title” anything works good.

3. For FPS games, use the PSP (optional for the user) as the game map, would be bigger and better to see and understand.

4. I would like to organize my media files (music videos photos) my way, you know, by my own made folders and that

5. Add the weather, temperature(in your area), and a cool calendar on the menu or when u press PS button. And of course…the frikin date and hour

To be on subject, great news! Its great to see developers show interest in showing what the PS3 is capable of. And seeing that this “new” franchise will be exclusive to the PS3 makes it even more exciting. I’ve been playing the GTA series since PS1, to the PS2, and then the PSP, and dont’ know about the PS3. Personally, I think it starts getting a little too repetitive playing a game that doesn’t change besides the graphics and some extra added options, like swimming, etc.

I do have a question that is really off topic. Can anyone tell me, that if you buy a Blu-Ray movie that is 1080p, and the T.V. does not support 1080p, but does support, 480p,720p, and 1080i, will the movie be downscaled to 1080i, or to 480p?

It will be displayed in 1080i…your PS3 will select the highest possible output resolution for you TV..even for movies.
