Metal Gear Solid Trailer Coming to PlayStation Store

Posted by Patrick Seybold // Sr. Director, Corporate Communications & Social Media

Metal Gear Solid 4
I just got word that we’ll have a very cool treat coming this week to the PLAYSTATION Store. What would E3 be without a new Metal Gear Solid trailer?

The latest Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer will be available exclusively for download on the PLAYSTATION Store shortly following our press conference tomorrow. From our friends over at Konami and Kojima Productions, I heard they were still putting the final touches on the trailer a mere five hours before it was hand carried today to Santa Monica for E3!!

As a reminder, the press conference will be streamed here, but if you’re one of the many MGS purists, you will no doubt want to download the trailer straight from the PlayStation Store in HD and 5.1 surround. Enjoy!

The trailer is amazing but why do you tout 5.1 surround sound when the XMB still can’t broadcast in it?

downloaded it, pretty quickly, actually.. today.. the other trailers are a little slower coming along.. but the MGS4 trailer looks amazing.. as usual.. loved all the past MGS games and this one will be a must buy as soon as it hits.. i can wait, not because i want to, but because i have to.. the game will be worth it.. if there’s a PS3 owner who doesnt buy this game, they need to sell their PS3 to someone who wants this game..

Jack

You annouced mgs4 as an exclusive but konami can still do something about that, all we need is better sales and there we win.

Excellent trailer but I am pretty disappointed about all this advertising for 5.1 surround when the output from the XMB is still the same old stereo quality.

Did anyone hear that sony is coming out with a new console that almost like the Nintendo Wii. I’ve heard it from a few people but can’t get confirmation on that and the price will match the Wii’s.
