Grace Chen here, senior Manager for the PLAYSTATION Store. It’s been a big week for the PLAYSTATION Store, with the launch of Warhawk on Tuesday and tons of great new content today. We know you guys want playable games and demos, and we want to get them to you. So with that said, here’s a quick breakdown of what we have in the PLAYSTATION Store today:

…Why?, because you don’t like what they say?….face facts the game sucks, I’ve played it for about 4 hours which is sadly 4 hours I’ll never be able to get back.
Sorry but this AAA title doesn’t cut the mustard – the premise was good, the art was good but the tech was flawed but not as much as the game play…hey, don’t take my word for it – buy it and see for yourself and then come back here and honestly say it’s a AAA title.
Here in Europe we pay $850 for the PS3 yet the EU store is BY FAR the worst. If you let us buy stuff from the Japanese/US stores it wouldn’t be so bad, but no. I have been waiting to buy the Blast Factor expansion for weeks!! When will we get Puzzle Fighter? Tekken Online? Castlevania? Resident Evil?
Typical approach to Europe.. months behind and much more expensive. Why do you hate us so much :( :(

When will a demo of Hot Shots Golf 5 be on PSN? There’s been a rumoured release date of October for it, but so far, no updates.
Tiger Woods is no comparison for HSG. Please, Sony, give us the HSG love!

Overscan issues really need to be addressed within the PS3 system — Its beautiful that Warhawk addresses this internally, but I’d like to set safe area settings system-wide and not in the browser and Warhawk separately while the store continues to have visibility problems.
Also, please add to the store an icon designating whether a given download is available to all users or just the purchasing user — I feel very screwed by the Warhawk purchase since I can’t let my family play on their own accounts on my system. No, not even sub-accounts.

The EA games are hack jobs cause they can’t have the ps3 competing with the x-box so they are making the worst ports possible for the ps3.I think sony should drop ea as a third party till they get their heads straight cause they are rushing ports on the ps3 and openly saying they put other development behing to concentrate on 360 titles.let’s all boycot EA Sports.Their not in the game

even worse then the HORRID super dark Ubi ports aka RB6 & GRAW2…Those at least have good graphics when its bright enough to see which is almost never!!!

I just picked up Lair against my own boycott rule and i just have to say this and get it over with!
This game doesnt deserve over a 9.0 rating…BUT i wouldnt give it less then an 8.0
The game is like nothing i’ve ever played before…totally original…the music is inviting, exciting and sinister at times totally adding to the overall experience of the game…and THANK GOD ITS IN 1080p…which i have to admit was one of the deciding factors in my decision…do i regret this purchase…absolutely not…do i regret RB6/GRAW2/FEAR…Hell Yea!!! horrible ports!
OH sorry guyz i forgot to mention…PS3 NEEDS RUMBLE!!!!

Wow.. there was absolutely no reasons to censor (delete) my well worded, polite and intelligent comments from earlier. So instead of taking my suggestion about keeping forward with this open line of communication you have established with your customers you decide to silence them instead?
That really surprises me and shows me how much you guys care. The only reason I can see to erase my comment was because I made some good suggestions/points and you were afraid of other people getting behind me in agreeance?
Shameful really, especially when I’m being far more constructive and understanding than half of these other commentors.

Why in the h*ll are you being Paramount’s BIATCH by letting them abandon the Blu-ray format only to watch them deliver their crappy movie trailers delivered on Sony’s PS3.

Plz confirm or deny this as im sure if it were free sale’s would sky rocket especially if it came with the console also a benefit for the consumer havein a QUALITY game to play without spending an extra £40 – £50
I’ve got a proposition for you guys at the Store. I’m a software developer and would actually give some of my personal time to help you make a Playstation Store that does international releases. So as to bring all the individual stores in line with each other, working from the languages that people tie to their PSN accounts, so if I was to add Japanese as a language that I understand on my account all the content from the Japanese store would make an appearance.

I havent read all the comments and I live in Europe. But I have to say that Sony delivered. There have been complaints about lack of demos demos and demos.
This update contained:
3 demos, 2 games and 4 trailers. Keep that good work up sony!
And why can’t there be one blog for all PS3 users around the world? Cant you let the guys in Europe have some space here?
Great update. The more demos the better.
Just hope to see the NHL 08, Skate, Medal Of Honor Airborne, Madden 08, and Ratchet demos up soon. The first four listed have been on Xbox Live for a while now. :(
Also, Sony, what the hell is going on with the PlayStation Cards? Are you going to make these or what? There’s lots of online content I wanna buy, but I’m sure as hell not using a credit card.

When you compare it to the xbox marketplace, wow, that’s really bad. The marketplace has released two arcade games, about 20 trailers and about 9 demos.
everythings good and all but why the hell didn’t we get a NHL 08 demo.My friend with a 360 got it and all we got was just the tiger woods and nascar demo…just wondering??
any news on a “skate” demo? it gets my goat that boxers got a demo and so far, ps3 owners have not.
Complain to the developers if you want demos on PS3. Usually demos come out faster for the box because developers have experience developing games for the box (hence faster/easier games), and not so much with the PS3. It’s not as if Sony is keeping this content from us purposefully. Sometimes they just aren’t getting the demos from developers.
Is there some special reason the uk store updates are utterly cack ? everyone on the eu website seems to be complaining about always geting stuff last and haveing less than a handfull of ps1 games to download . i for one am dispointed
until one of these marketing/manager drones post here and specifically answer the concerns on the delays between releasing content on the various stores (EU/AUS) then this blog is just yet more Sony B.S… cmon people have genuine concerns and we keep getting the ‘everything is just great’ crap from Sony…

although part of what you say is true, ie…complain to developers….there is one thing i’ll say about that…at E3 this year Sony had demos of almost every exclusive they make…Lair, Ratchet & Clank, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted etc etc…demos exist!!!!…
the third party games on the other hand are a whole different issue…if we cant even get a decent third party game what makes anyone think we’ll get a demo??
