my folding@home program will not work. I was busy downloading it when a thunderstorm made the power in my house glitch and shut off my PS3. Now it won't let me download it or anything. It just tells me there is an error and I can't go any farther. Can anyone tell me if there is anything I can do?

Controlling the PS3 with PSP is cool. But I want an infrared remote control.

I need something small and nice with full support from Sony. Why did you leave out the infrared interface?

What were you thinking? I bought the PS3 and returned it the next day when I found out that it didn't have the infrared. Why do you want everyone buy your blu-Ray and you are expecting them to throw away their universal remote control and stick with a blue tooth one? I am just trying to understand why you left it out? Was it a mistake, or you have a good reason behind the decision?

Anyone with an entertainment system worth of mentioning already has A universal remote control. Having two remotes defeats the purpose of simplification of systems. Having the controller in hand to watch a movie is not intuitive. Buying a 3rd party infrared remote which works sometimes is not good.

So the PS3 is meant to be a game console, then why the expensive blu-ray now? If it's meant to be the 'center' of any entertainment center, then why not infrared remote?

Just want to know why? Mistake or a cleaver idea?

Okay everyone, I am having some major problems with this new update. I updated F@H. Then when I sign in to Remote Play everything works as it did before UNTIL I try to open F@H from my PSP. When I do so it searches forever on my PSP and eventually drops saying that the PSP could not find the registered PS3.. meanwhile my PS3 seems to freeze- my television instantly goes to blank screen and says "no signal." I then have to restart my PS3. I have tried re-registering my PSP with my PS3 to no avail. Also, this happened again when I was later in Remote Play and the PS3 went into automatic F@H. The updated Folding@Home works just fine on my PS3 when remote play is not involved. Any ideas?

Also, as far as entertainment within F@H goes, I wouldn't mind if there wered layered maps or at least a way to recognize major cities around the world. And how about a way to choose what project you'd like to work on?

I'm having a problem with this fah thing. Everything was hunky-dory before this latest update. I run the PS3 on a wireless off my Speedstream modem, and usually can count on a 70% or so connection. When fah runs, now, with this update, it always logs me out of the PS network, and my connection drops to like 20-odd percent. Most times I have to re-start the PS3 to get the connection back up where it usually is. Kinda aggravating, and it's leading me to where I don't wanna run the stupid thing anymore...
Any ideas?
