oh Sony my very good old friend,Halo 3 is right around the corner, and with the pushback of MGS4, and GTA:4 and no real competition from ourside i think this is gonna hurt.I love Sony, the only MS items i own are the OS on My comp and whatever plugins u need on the comp, other than that i swore off MS like an ex user might due to their respective habit.
For the first time in the console wars i am now worried that you dont grasp the importance of wining now not (within10 years) Halo 3 is gonna give MS alot of rebound in whatever sales u may have gained, I think You Really need to push out more, better and now, i will never leave your side only at the time that you decide to stop making good things Sony is known for, which at 1 point was the Video Games Market that you had owned,
But there has to be a new plan when EA cant get 60fps to work on a superior peice of hardware. Make your dev kits alot more user friendly or something, if not this damn war is nothing more than Nintendo and MS teaming up to drop the proverbial Nuclear weapon on Sony Loyalist…………………. Please Kick Their Tails Like we know you can.

It’s the third week in a row that the 360 has outsold the PS3 WORLDLY.

It’s also the first time since the start of the Madden franchise that a Sony product hasn’t been the best seller for the title. The 360 outsold the PS2 version by over 250 thousands copies.

Savage, not hard to imagine, the PS3 is a cheap ( but good) Bluray player. Look at the sales of Lair and Warhawk. Obviously, more users are buying it for its Bluray playback capabilities than games.

Good thing (for Sony) Japan is xenophobic about the 360 though, otherwise world wide sales would depict a different picture…

Figures For W/E 02/09/2007
Xbox 360 : 109,959
PS3 : 93,146

W/E 05/08/2007 -> W/E 02/09/2007
PS3 : 460936
Xbox 360 : 455335

But in terms of the whole month of August the PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 world wide. Imagine that Sly, the machine with less games and that is more expensive that it’s competitor.

Actually it has now been 8 weeks ( since 15/07 ) that overall the PS3 has sold more machines than the PS3. Next week, the Xbox 360 will probably surpass the PS3, especially with Halo 3 looming. But as I said previously this will revert back to high PS3 sales in October to December due to RROD.

I’ve said it before the US is what is propping up XBox 360 sales world wide because every where else on the planet, people are buying more PS3s on average than Xbox 360s.
If Sony would drop the price of the PS3 in the other regions, the Xbox would not be looking so good.

Savage, second week in a row that the 360 has outsold the PS3 worldwide and 5th week in a row in the US, according to vgchartz.

Lair and Warhawk also took only the 7th and 8th spot on the software sale, beaten by Blue Dragon, Madden NFL 2008 (360), Wii Sports, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 (360), Bioshock (360) and Metroid Prime 3.
