Thats cool, beta I didn’t sign up to beta test a console. Its not even fully functioning yet, and that is just ridiculous, its been a year and they still don’t have there act together. SO they just announced rumble at TGS, who cares. Make the console itself work. I have wallpaper but me and my wife and/or brother can’t be logged in at the same time. Is Sony serious!

Not to mention the fact that there would be AAA titles have been less than stellar, PSN store has been crap, and they are constantly trying to gouge us on there 1st party DLC hence HS’s 6 hour time frame.

They also can’t keep hiding behind “its still new and evolving tech” if that was the case they should have waited 2 more years to release this console.

If you guys are in TGS, and you say that this will be updated less often, does that just mean it’s going to be quiet until TGS really kicks off? and THEN we get updates? Or that there won’t be any updates at all until you guys are “back”?

I would love some official coverage, especially since you guys have “official” screens/photos/videos/etc.

Honestly then you shouldn’t have bought the PS3 so soon. Everyone knows 1st year for a new console is always rough..just look at history of any console launch.

If you cannot take the heat then I suggest you remove yourself from it.

There are better things to do then whine and whine all day long. If you’re not happy with the product then return it. Simple as that.

And all your FUD about dwindling sales..well that’s just your paranoia. PS2 has an install base of what? You know that most of the those people are just waiting for a major price drop next year before they jump on the band wagon.

Now those are smart people. By end of next year there’ll be more games and older ones will cheaper and so will the system. Most XMB issues would’ve been ironed out, etc, etc.

Final Fantasy VII remake for the PS3.

Advent Children already recreated several of the cutscenes from the original.
It’d definitely be possible to do. Look so pretty. Show off the PS3’s blue ray capabilities. And would sell many copies + many PS3’s. It seems stupid to not do this.

your right in some ways
multi accounts at same time should be available like tiger woods 08 when playin against friends or wife it will only save our stats on my profile which means that my wife will not get her awards on her profile and the PSN does suck
but you must also believe that the PS3 has the potential and will rule GAMES EVENTUALLY

i do agree with what your saying alot of these little things should already be there BUT then MS could say that SONY are copying them with all the features but if its still in development they can say we are just keepin the CONSUMER happy giving the customers what they want. NOT COPYING

@consoleboi: Ignorance must be bliss for you. You really think that you’d be better off if everyone that feels the way I did, didn’t buy a console at launch. Crap, I bought 2. So what would Sony do with practically no user base. They’d be futher up the proverbial creek, so be glad you have us.

So as an earlier adopter its pretty much “To hell with you, I am waiting for the real user base to buy the product. Just take what we give you.” No way, F that! If it weren’t for people like you, who incidently have no spines, coming along and bending over everytime Sony coughes, we might be able to get some actual progress out of them.

Instead, Sony must be thinking that these issues are unimportant cause people like you shoot everyone down. YOUR A FREAKING CONSUMER, not a corporate whipping boy. Unless I am wrong and you sign your checks directly over to Sony.

I didn’t say PS3 is perfect. I’m saying it has a lot going for it and with each passing month new updates are introduced. Can this be said of the Xbox? NO!

Just look at HOME.

All whining about Sony being a bad company doesn’t help anyone. If you want constructive feedback then why don’t you email or waltz right up to their headquarters and express your displeasure.

I’m not being unsympathetic to what you are saying..I do understand your frustration and of many others with certain issues.

Still the fact remains the console is barely a year old.

Like I said before, there are many products out there. If you dislike a certain company then don’t support them.

PS Consoleboi: I did look at the history of the previous consoles. So I ask, which Sony system had a price drop in the first year with a potential 2nd right around the corner of it first anniversary. NONE. PS1 / 2 took just about a year to take off, its been just about a year and what do we have? (Rhetorical question, we all know we have wallpaper.) The thing is, I can see Sony is trying… I can, but I’ve already got a ps3 and if mine goes down, I’ll get me another one… I’m sure. It’s not me you hafta convince anymore… it’s 3rd party dev’s and other consumers who are hesitant.

I know the ps3 is a great value. Consumers, as a whole, don’t. They’re coming out with rumble controllers and all this stuff, but why? It’s all in vain right now. No good games will support it. None of the games in our collection will have rumble support. Resistace, Motorstorm, Warhawk, Heavenly sword, lair… none of them. Uncharted, R&C… they won’t either. So why bother? Sony is a strange company that does strange things.

@ Solace, I read on psxextreme.com that they are announcing a game that will “save” the ps3…I can’t exactly think of anything else but FFVII remake or MGS4…lol so i’m hoping here that they will drop that oh heavenly voice that says at the end of the video “FFVII…200X…exclusively to the PS3″ and of course that “PLAYSTATION 3: PLAY B3YOND”

Heads up guys: I got the new game informer this week and found that the Grand Turismo 5 prolouge is a free download from the PS Store. Grand Turismo 5 will be a seperate title. Grand Theft Auto is delayed until early next year due to develpoment for the PS3. Just thought i would share what i knew.

Oh yeah, The one thing that Sony cannot control is the number of games coming out. It does take time to develop these things, and if there is a market, you know there are several developers trying to fill it. We need to wait and we will get what we want.

To Sonyslaves: Its interesting that there are a few of you on here who purport that gamesblow, or anyone for that matter, that has anything critical to say about the PS3 is in fact being paid by MS. I purpose that it is in fact you who are being paid (most likely by a 3rd party) to blindly support the PS3. Either that, or you receive daily brainwashing sessions beamed down from the Sony mothership. WAKE UP.

There is a difference between being critical and just plain hating and being fan boyish. See when you’re being critical of something you should offer info or suggestions to fix the things that you have problems with. Example, (@Sony I have a problem with ____ I think it would be great if you did _____ Thanks.) Ranting and being all emotional just makes people look like little female dogs. Because after all if your not part of the solution your part of the problem.

So how about not only wakeing up but growing up also
