playing sega rally… not into the camera or the controls. maybe it’s because i’m used to DiRT. the whole design is very JP. not my thing… loving Skate, though! amazing game. haven’t tried stuntman or nba 08.

OT - I thought I read on the boards that there would also be an NBA2k8 demo coming to the Store. Anyone heard anything about that for sure?

You don’t “write for sony”. That would imply that you write on behalf of sony, and lord knows that if that were the case, I’d sell my PS3 and PSP quickstyle.
Also, how is it “write 4 sony” when all you do is bash others on Sony’s blog? That’s not writing to them; it’s harassment of others on their blog. All you’re doing is perpetuating the stereotype that gamers in general are nothing more than burnout idiots. Congrats on being a stereotype.

Scott does have a point. These little battles usually start when someone points out a criticism towards Sony, so unless you work for Sony there is no need to harras$ someone for their comments.

Most of you come across as cheerleaders, and your just perpetuating that image.

Scott, games, lou, king and I don’t have to like everything Sony does or sells, leave it at that.

The PSN store website is brilliant. Only thing they need now is the ability to queue downloads via the website.

Example, I log in at work, see stuff I want to download so I click on it and then the ps3 will automatically download what I queued whenever I log on next.

I was thinkning the same thing. They also need to rework the navigation on that thing. I hate trying to get around the PSN store, its ridiculous. None of the buttons on the controller work the way you would expect or think they would.

Come on Sony, step up.

got an hour to kill so here goes checking what my serious fellow gamers are saying. today was pretty full being able to do the things i like on a weekend ….lately it seems to be all things sony. played super stardust hd this morning…unbelievable fun for under ten dollars. could not wait for the star wars psp bundle so bought the daxter bundle. opening that baby up later…i watched shaun of the dead on umd while in traffic …will watch it on the tv thanks to the psp slim. i noticed on the deadline hollywood blog that resident evil:extinction is estimated to be the number one movie this weekend…on friday it made almost ten million. that mila girl is some beauty. this weekend best buy had a gamers delight and went into the ps trailer…was able to get a ps hat …free of course…i asked if i could have two and he said why not.

just love this…we dont have any of these on the Aus PSN…is Sony simply really trying to p!ss us off…sorry to keep harping on about this, but figure I might as well until Sony address the disparity in the regional PSNs…

The internet has made the world much smaller, hopefully one day Sony will discover this and start to use it, you know copy *.* from USA to AUS…can’t be that hard.

some people dont no the truth when they here it.ps3 is a good console but game wise 360 is killing …i would like 2 play my ps3 but nothing 2 hot 2 play… well a lot of race care games…sony come on with the shooter …… i like the blue-ray cuzz it holds more giggs then hd does but no one uses the space…well in the long run sony will when like always…but in the mean while every one will turn to the cheaper console with the most games 360

skate looks great, but it has some real framrate issues on the PS3. Anyone know if it’s just the demo?

sorry to burst your bubble but the demo is exactly what the game is going to be!!…just like GRAW2, RB6, FEAR, DIRT…all HORRIBLE ports

I have Dirt and Skate for the other system and the games are tight graphically and gameplay…Sony just gets the leftovers

deadline hollywood states that as of now sony has joined the one billion dollar gross club and for sony its the sixth year in a row. wow…so many exclusive blu ray movies coming like spiderman 3….pirates at world end and its been reported today that rush hour 3 will be a blue ray exc lusive…so many exclusive blu ray so little time

Unified PS Store with tabs for diffrent Store’s and a bit of information about the demo’s sayin weather its NTSC or PAL and weather it will work on a EU PS3 & to beable to buy from other Stores we dont care if its NTSC or we would’nt make an American account we dont want another PROFILE on our PS3 and certainly not 1 that we only use to get into the PS Store come on sort this out why should WE have to make an American account?

WHAT??…are you kidding me???..i’ll be honest i’ve never played Halo or Halo 2 so i cant comment on those points you raised…but i just got Halo3 and im going to have to TOTALLY disagree with your assessment…gameplay and graphics are insane…i was playing online and when i signed on 121,000 ppl seem to be enjoying themselves…nothing Sony has looks better…Halo 3 rivals Bioshock…so im sorry if you think Sony has a game thats graphically better i’d sure like to know cuz i havent seen it…as for the length of the game…unless your a Halo GOD!!! i dont see ppl beating this game in 6 hours…i dont know…maybe its just me…but i play ALL my games on the hardest settings so Legendary mode is out of control and as good as i claim to be @ shooters this game is gonna have me sucked in for awhile…as for the plot like i said i never played the other Halo’s so im so far gone on the story i play it for the absolutely amazing gameplay and the feature of sending your crazy ass kill videos to your friends just makes me want to play it more and show off more

i know most Sony fans are going to downplay this game to try and make it sound like its crap…but the only thing i’ll say to that is that you have to be delusional if you think Halo 3 sux…thats just jealousy cuz Sony cant match the trilogy…the Halo Nation is unstoppable and Bungie just set a standard that i know i’ll be comparing all Sony games to including SOCOM

i have no harsh words to say about any console i only have a PS3 but B4 i got the PS3 i was thinking of gettin a 360 DUE to the Playstation being DELAYED but come on all of us here are all gamers and am interested to know except from graphically how they improved it like the RUN is well needed i hated the other 2 Halo’s just for the fact there was no RUN

At this very moment, I don’t have a game console period–my launch day 360 died, and the replacement unit started crashing on me 2 weeks ago, so I sold it. I WAS going to play Halo 3 first, but I won’t support a company whose product has repeatedly died on me. So this Christmas I will buy a PS3–sure Sony is a year behind the 360, but nonetheless Sony will have UT3, Warhawk and Heavenly Sword look very good, and there will be alot of games coming out for the PS3 which i haven’t played before at all–Final Fantasy, DMC, MGS and GT. Sure I’ll miss Halo 3, but I’ve seen the ending on Youtube.

I never said that it sucks; I said it is over rated. Good game but far from perfect and it feels like I have played it before because of the first two. Way to much hype but we should blame the fans for that one. Story/corny, campaign maps/ bad, Graphics/jaggy, voice over/horrible especially the Aussie, new weapons/fun but useless. IMO

Its cool bro we don’t agree on much anyways. LOL

#236.. right now on the ps3 r.f.o.m. is fun multiplayer like halo 3…i have both ps3 and 360…the ps3 will have some good games by christmas… if they dont get pushed back

for the next update add this:
- go to xmb while in-game
- listen to music while in-game
- listen to music and videos while chatting
- able to send music and videos
- put linux (any kind) under “network” in the xmb for easy installation

its real tough to hear when a company has problems with their product they are selling to girls and guy that want to have fun…the guy at an electronic store was telling me there have been returns on a certain game by another company because of scratched discs and on ng4 it was stated that 33% were defective.

its about time my local newspaper got truthy…for several months it has not bothered to review a ps game instead reviewed two others regularly…finally they have an article headlined “halop 3 packaging scratching disks” then went on about how people can get a free exchange and then they talk about how the company has been plagued by xbox 360 problems in recent months and also reported that some wireless racing wheel game controllers were overheating and smoking. they took the story from the associated press. i had to return to the blog and tell you this as i have grown tired of the posts shooting down our ps3 purchase. goodnight and good gaming oh also safe gaming

Wow, I am surprised EA actually accomplished something with Skate. I was betting on the worst, thank god they proved me wrong. I won’t be buying it this time around, but if they release skate. 2 with better graphics (that look like they were actually made on the ps3 instead of ported), a tuned-up trick system, and maybe a better camera angle, though I’m not so sure it’s that bad right now, it’s kind of grown on me… if they fix all that in 2, I’ll definitely pre-order it.
