The 40gb isnt even coming out in the united states.
The thing is that ps2 is still alive. They want people to buy both to increase sales. PS1 games still fully work in the new model.
so its only PS2 games that wont work? then why is it called BACKWARDS COMPATABILITY this to me means every game B4 PS3
What I want to know is, when are they going to synchonize PSN releases for the SCEE territory. We in Europe always have to wait at least a week for something that is released earlier in other territories.
Anyhoo, a sweet MGS4 demo would be nice, or Uncharted.
Maybe they just used this as a distraction to cover the big bang announcement?
PS1 games dont require software emulation.
Ps2 games do…You can play some ps1 games on the xbox..

I have a question, why is there no option for Mexico to register if I have a ps3 in ps3 online store? I’ve tried many times and even after many system updates, sony has even added little european countries as Malta as they haven’t add Mexico where a lot of people have ps3. That’s a great mistake cause I can’t download demos and all that stuff.
yeh new stuff thats nice but could you put some info on Assassin’s Creed on there…videos…news of an upcoming demo…pics…anything at all I pre-ordered it and not getting to much info on sites

Johny Home beta was suppose to be out this month but they ran to some problems.. ( is gonna be on 2.00 as one of they major update) There is suppose to be 3 home beta before the final release.

WHere is PES 2008 DEMO?
I was hoping someone would explain something for me.
Is there an issue preventing PSone games from showing up on the PSN in the US? I would really like to know if there are any plans to release more archives. Was just reading about the PSN for Japan getting more PSone games with alot more to be released soon. Now I know that the access to PSN from the PC is right around the corner in Japan, and I understand the reason for all the content. I’m just not hearing anything about any archives for the US.
I’m also wondering if there are any plans to release more arcade games like the Midway games we got. I know the focus is on original content specially created for the PSN, but I was wondering if retro stuff would ever be sprinkled in as well.
Hey, I purchased every game that’s been release on the PSN (and I’ll be buying Everyday Shooter this week) and I’ve gotten four of the archives. I’m just wondering what are the thoughts on the two areas I’ve mentioned (archives and arcades) just so I can know what to expect.
I really hope someone from Sony would reply.
