four great games this month!!!!! COD4, Assassins Creed, Uncharted and wishfully Haze but that seems to be postponed until december 14th so make that three great games….. lets enjoy gamers!!!!!

I remember when this blog had something to do with new topics like the one above, be it a praise or a criticism that was in context of what topic was written…Now it is filled with unecessary spam and self promotion that tears what this Playstation Blog is about. Something has to be done about this spamming and someone’s self promotion. If there was one time where the “handlers” of this blof would listen, let it be now…Please add a moderator to put back some order in these blogs. It’s very easy to differentiate a comment that has to do with said topic than one who conributes spamming and self promotion.

I appreciate your controversy in this blog. It has kept a lot of people, (including me,) on their toes about finding knowledge on certain games. But please, the ranting and raving about the ps3 as a failure needs to stop. Besides, success is usually found after a failure has occurred.

oh and gamesblow, the 360 is so amazing, so amazing in fact that the xbox360fanboy blog website (the one that is like a section of joystiq) is still posting halo 3 crap, i want to read up on news about games, such as this post, not watch stupid videos of 12 year olds playing one of the worst shooters i’ve ever played, hell, if you’ve got a 360, get gears instead.

@ Ghostm. IGN.com has a guide for warhawk, they talk about gameplay and weapons, if your a n00b go check it out. TIP: if you have the knife equipped guys cant see you on their radar.

@Gamesblow. You have posted about 10 hate mail messages on this article. Why do you waste your life and Bi.ch about the PS3, go play your 360, o wait you cant because its red ringed on you. Now the 360 is an inferior system.

Sony’s 1st year ps3 games are getting compared to the xbox 360’s 2nd year titles. But the thing is the (1st year ps3 )titles are doing better than (2nd year 360)titles. With the execption of halo 3 and bioshock, but i will compare bioshock to killzone 2 and halo 3 to MGS4. Now thats the way to compare consoles.
Im pretty sure we all know what system has the better games for how long theyve been on the market.

Pharmd - Haze isn’t coming out on Dec. 14th. In the U.S. it’s Dec. 4th. That Dec. 14th was for Europe. Gamestop.com still shows the 4th.

Good review, but it should’ve pointed out that the so called ’screen tearing’ is only apparent on those displaying 1080p resolution.

Also, lol to those who said its’ too short. Gears was 7 hours, Halo was barely 6 and COD4 is 5 and they all relied on online as selling points. Sorry, but that is poor. At least with Uncharted we get an imersive game with plenty of unlockables. And I don’t have to hear whiney, horny, high pitched voiced American teenager boys screaming into their ear pieces.

Great work Evan and to all those at Naughty Dog. I doubt you’ll get to see this amongst the sea of other comments, but can you release a hard copy of the soundtrack and consider doing a LE/CE version for Uncharted 2 with all the extras you gave out in the press kit? Review sites should never get a package that awesome, but I doubt any of them love the game as much as we, your loyal and faithful fans, do.

I typed more but it was cut off when I clicked “submit”….It was alot but my point was that a review should explore more and in detail on many aspects of this game, which I see in many reviews of other games but for this one was sorely lacking..This game brings alot to the table that wasn’t explored in the review……”facing off against countless enemies” was written like no other game before this one never had you fighting enemies.. and being docked heavily in the graphics point for “aliasing” Hopefully there will be another REVIEW that would make better use of the word REVIEW.

@gamesblow: The thing is you can’t prove that there wouldn’t have been pop in and aliasing if there was a Xbox 360 version. So you can’t really call PS3 inferior hardware based on an Exclusive title.

@gamesblow: And not everyone agrees that Assassin’s Creed looks better on the Xbox 360. They just look different. One site says PS3 has better framerate and another site (who gave it a less than stellar score anyway) said that Xbox 360 has batter framerate.

Oh and BTW a little pop-in and aliasing shouldn’t harm the gameplay experience much. They don’t stop it being an incredible game.

Naughty Dog i want to congratulate you guys for delivering the awesomness that is Drake’s Fortune.After all the FPS and TPS games playing a game like this is VERY refreshing.Its top tier in gameplay, graphics and story (as far as (p)reviews ,demo and vids convey).And reading you still got plenty of SPU resources left makes me just smile and wonder how much better your future titles will become.

Anyhows day one purchase for me.I even thought the IGN score seemed a bit low when watching their video review.

And last thing ND unrelated, how do i block trolls like Gamesblow on this blog?

OMG OMG Forza 2 is jaggies hell (ign review) Gears of War streaming textures are always late (any video review) oh and check neogaf Mass Effect has pop-in & frame rate issues, but i dont fault them, i fault the cheap 360’s fault…right

you know what i think, i think you work for MS and i think IGN was paid for that little remark just so you cry a little because we have the demo and there are NO popin or aliasing issues

WARNING: ASSASINS CREED DOESN”T WORK ON HD TV’s !!!!!! I got the European version and the latest samsung 1080 TV and all i get is tearing (?) I tried the PS3 options but that doesn’t help either! HELP WHAT CAN I DO NOW???? I’ll post a video on Youtube… THIS SUCKS!!!

What rez are you playing in? 1080I or 1080P? 1080I is the worst signal to sue for your ps3 and this game, believe me. 720P is the most stable. 1080P does boot up with Assassins creed but it’s not native and the tearing is much worse and the pop in is atracious. I’ve already talked about this on my blogsite. If you have a 1080I tv, do yourself a favor and crank your sharpness down to about -15. Tell me how that works out for you on the screen tearing.

I know why now.. it’s the PS2 upscale [DELETED] that does it.. i turned all ps2 options off and now it works fine.. great.. but it’s a 2.0 BUG!

Sony is disabling to ps2 upscale hardware themselves. They completely destroyed the upscaler on this update. Notice how it looks now? They’re phasing it out. I won’t be surprised if they disable the ps2 playback next firmware update. I couldn’t believe when I went to play R&CUYA and seen how it looked after the update.

@Gamesblow; Assasins creed is just 720.. don’t know what you are talking about here.. what does anything of what you’re saying gonna help anyone?.. the game should work on ANY tv… and it does… just turn those darn PS2 options off! My Samsung does all signals by the way. And the ps3 when set on automatic should switch between the right options. If I had to set that manualy for every game the PS3 would be a horrible machine.. this is the first time a game had problems for me, and again it’s not the game it’s the 2.0 update.. (just like the warhawk freezes only since 2.0)

Those options aren’t the cause of the problem… The cause of the problem is lack of available ram. Assassins creed boots in 1080P, jackson. Sorry tosay. Also 1080I… it must be tough being in pal regions or something, timmy. “ha” It’s a 720P native, sure… but that doesn’t stop it from being displayed in 1080I or 1080P. Not on my system or any of the review sites systems. you’re without base.
