What the [DELETED] hell is this?!? I downloaded the Uncharted demo like half an hour ago and it seems not working on EUR ps3!! The whole european ps3 players are soooooo angry tonight! Maybe should we have to wait for the v6.5 FW update before playing this demo…

[DELETED] YOU SONY! Why is freaking demo locked for us Europeans? It wasn’t enough that you delayed release of PS3 until March 07, it isn’t enough that we pay more for PS3(almost double) than folks in USA(and btw 360 is same price in EU as in USA so don’t give me crap that taxes are higher in EU). And now this little annoying thing where you block demo from us?! Thats it. For two years i didn’t wanted to buy 360 believing they “bad guys” and i was like moron defending Sony and theirs overrated system. Tomorrow i am going to trade in my PS3 for Xbox 360 and PLAY SOME FREAKING GAME!!! Not WAIT on WAITSTATON!

It’s not enough that the EU PSN Store is totally neglected, but now you’re region locking the games to keep us out from the US Store? I can’t believe how terrible you’re treating your European (and the rest of the world, except US) customers. We pay much more to get much less.
I’m seriously starting to regret my purchase of the PS3. I’ve always defended the PS3, but enough’s enough.
I hope the xbots make a big issue about this (they’re just waiting for chances to flame the Sony & PS3, and you give them plenty), maybe then you’ll finally wake up.

Download it tonite before you go to bed and all will be well. as for the EU players, i am sorry to hear that your PS3’s will not allow you to play the game.

I honestly don’t think they would region-lock demos… they’ve surely abolished it for proper games, don’t see any reason to control demos which are after all, free. Btw, I read somewhere that accessing the American store from outside North America is a gross violation of SCEA PSN User Agreements, so err… don’t think we can actually complain even if they did block us out – but that would be cruel huh?
I can’t even access the store, it says down for maintenance. Well, hopefully will try to download Uncharted tomorrow… some of you will get definite answers by then. Hehe.

Yeah, true, but I consider the US Store being a violation against EU Store. Because the US store is much better than the EU one. So if Sony wants to keep ppl from dl’ing from the US store they better update the EU store at the same rate.
It would make the US store faster also since no EU gamers would jam it.
