When we upgraded the WordPress install on the blog last week, one of the things that many of you asked about was changing your own password. As I said then, we’ve been working on this feature – and now it’s ready.
If you’re an existing user, you can click here to change your password. You’ll need to enter your current username and password, then select a new password.
New users will still receive an auto-generated password, but you can update it upon first login.
We hope this feature helps enhance your PlayStation.Blog experience, something we’ll continue to strive for in the months ahead.

Hrmm… where would I find this forgot password feature of which you speak? I’m a little afraid to log out since I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to log in again… :)

This is great. I just changed my password. Now I won’t have to mess with it again if I have to enter it. Such a small feature but a big one if you have lots of online accounts.

@Soong
You don’t want in game XMB. Because if you wanted that, you’ll be waiting a long time.
What you want is in game messaging and chat via the XMB. Because having to quit a game to send a message is plain stupid.

Out of interest, are you guys feeding your coding developments back into the WordPress community?
I use it for a webcomic and a blog, and it would be great if Sony released their code additions so that they could be integrated into later WordPress editions.

Jeff can you find out why we aren’t getting trailers for games like
1. FINAL FANTASY XIII
2. FINAL FANTASY Versus XIII
They have been out at game shows but not for us to download and show off.
Also what about getting them sweet comercials for download?
Just because these games don’t come out fo awhile doesn’t mean we should get videos of them to watch.

omg. thank you. going between 4 computers and 2 mobile devices, it sucked that everytime I had to reset my cookies or something odd happened, i had to go to my mail, look for the email with the funky 2348754 password and paste it in.
Thank You!

Thank God. Now, just make it so that we can actually upload avatars, and we’ll be a working blog (Gravatar does not respond to emails, why in the H*** did you pick them as a service provider?). Also, ban anyone who types “We want In-Game XMB” a thousand times in one post.

THANK YOU JEFF! I was getting so sick of resetting my password every time i deleted my cookies, This feature really helps because now i actually know what my password is instead of it being a random sequence of letters.
Playstation.Blog is really getting better. Keep up the good work. We all really appreciate it.
