This game will be all sorts of awesome.

The demo was amazing, and I have no doubt this game will be no different.

Nice boxart. Its pretty badass of you not to show his face. You got to trust your fanbase a lot on this one.

Riskbreaker23  |  January 15th, 2008 at 3:54 pm

is there any chance of a GOW PSP bundle?

this and Crisis Core are probably the biggest PSP games coming out this year and it would be a good idea to use them to move more units.

Cannot wait, the demo was amazing and I know the game will be better. I just hope they have a good explanation on why Kratos can swim underwater and hold his breath, and why he has the Blades of Chaos (are they the Blades of Chaos?)

Port to PS2, put on PSN before the release of GOW3 and sales will be golden.

Nice cover. I chose that one myself because it looked the best!

Cannot wait for GOW:CoO!

28

TheGraciousOne  |  January 15th, 2008 at 5:20 pm

Aw hell no! It’s the same image that 1up used as a teaser screenshot for GOW coverage last year. I for one, do not want that as the official boxart. Where did you guys go to vote for the boxart?

wolverine81  |  January 15th, 2008 at 5:21 pm

Love the cover! I chose that one in the poll. Can’t wait for this game to come out!

Looks good, I look forward to when Kratos reaches the PS3!

Celdurant  |  January 15th, 2008 at 6:41 pm

@Gardea (#17) The game is set during the period in which Kratos is in the service of the gods, which is after his battle with the Barbarians. Ares had already bestowed the Blades of Chaos to him.

As for why he can hold his breath so long/breathe underwater: Maybe Spartans have strong lungs =? If you’re referring to GoW I, it’s because of Poseidon’s trident, no?

Scarecrow  |  January 15th, 2008 at 6:42 pm

This is the game I’ve been waiting for since early last year.

All the new stuff in it and the kick ass action will be sick!

I already pre-ordered the game so I am set for day one! I like the box art, I have been using the same picture as a PSP wallpaper for some time.

Check out my thread on the Play Station forums for the Wallpaper and general info.

This is the next video game that I will be buying. I am so excited about this game. March is going to be a spectacular month for the PSP with this game and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII finally coming out. It looks like my PS3 and my Xbox 360 will have to take a backseat to my PSP for a little while. Who would’ve ever thought that would happen?

not-buying-incognito  |  January 15th, 2008 at 11:59 pm

Bundle this with the PSP is good idea like someone said before…
It would make me buy the game hardware….
With a memory card of course.

Bundle this. It’s time to buy PSP.

42

Gravatar

Gunwing  |  January 16th, 2008 at 5:28 am

I agree with #41 you need to make a God Of War PSP Slim model, and bundel it with this game and a 2 gig stick as well as the stuff that comes with the Core PSP Slim model PSP. It would be a huge system seller!

You could charge 200.00 with tax and you would make a killing! Also the same with Wipeout: Pulse would be just as good.

Ready at Dawn you are an AWESOME company.

THANK YOU for not compromising on your quality. Its because of companies like yours that Playstation will remain my platform of choice.

I would love to see what you guys could do given the power of the PS3 ;)
