I own an Xbox 360 and a PS3 and am more of a playstation fan but there are a couple of things that need work…i mean these things are very important not just to me but also to many other gamers out there…we all seem to share the same views when it comes to a head2head comparison..PS3 needs to fix 2 things 2 ultimitely come out on top as a the clear champion of gaming…#1 Got to fix the Playstation Store and make it more user-friendly with more credible games and content…i’ve had my PS3 for 2 months now and don’t even have 1 friend yet…meanwhile on the 360 my friends list is full 100+ and am head of a clan of 36 members…most of us want to believe in the PS3 and r actually rooting 4 it’s success but it has 2 fix these 2 things in order to win the public over 4ever…The 2nd item believe it or not are “ACHIEVEMENT POINTS” that is singlehandedly killing PS3 sales on both systems and games…i’m out there talking to gamers all the time…believe me they as well as myself enjoy racking up those points next 2 our gamertags…it shows what level of a gamer u are and how talented a gamer u r as well as how dedicated OR BETTER YET HOW HARDCORE U R…many of us out in the gaming community own both systems and would rather buy a game that is available on both systems..we will usually go 4 the xbox version simply 4 the achievement points we can get 4 playing or investing our time and effort in2 the game…i know there will be trophies given out 4 finishing a PS3 game but that’s just not gonna be good enough…Now i know there r copyright issues but ur telling me u can’t come up with another name 4 the same thing for ex. “Dedication Score” or Gamer Score” with levels 4 those that get higher scores..and u can also have a trophy system… but the important thing is 2 get the game developers 2 also set it up so that u can unlock the “GAMERSCORES” with the certain challenges and so forth…it really gives games extra playability and i can speak 4 every1 i’ve ever discussed this with…THERE iS NOTHING LIKE THE FEELING U GET WHEN U SEE “ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED” on UR SCREEN AFTER PLAYING UR HEART OUT IN A CERTAIN PART OF A GAME…IT’s like a PRIZE 4 ur Effort…UNTIL PS3 comes up with a system like this and gets the develepors involved..they will continue 2 lose the software battle…only exclusives will outsell becuz there’s no choice…i want 2 buy the PS3 version, believe me, but the feeling i get from unlocking achievements prevents me from buying the PS3 version of multi-console games…It’s killing me cuz i’m rooting 4 u SONY…Please Read This And Make Us Happy>>>We’re Not Asking 4 too Much!!!!

i have both a ps3 and a 360 and i have to painfully admit that the psn store really sucks compared to xbox live its downloads are pure garbage ecspecially its old school arcade games why do i want to pay to play Rampage on psn when i can play TMNT or SF2 and then there are the horrific ps 1 games that i didnt like back then except for Castlevania SOTN they all suck!! if the PS3 is going to prevail its going to need to do a hell of a lot better than just MGS4!!

This update about average nothing over the top but was generally pleased with the Star Trek trailer would not mind a Dark knight trailer. SCEA please talk to square the fans on these forums and on theres have asked for them to release a psn game whether it is BoF or CC or FF or BB or VH or VS but seems they only say on their forums that the interest is not high enough. So was wondering if you could give them a nudge in a more positive direction. We are on the low side when it comes to RPGs. On the technical side any wireless keyboards that work with ps2 games my logictech from best buy doesn’t work at all for ff11.

recommendation:
The Blog should have more updates with other companies(Namco, LucasArts, Bandai, Eidos, Square Enix, etc) in Developer Corners or views or inside information for us. Keeping the owners informed helps everyone. One thing I have been looking for more information on is the creators of the GO! Messenger and relations with Sony seen the psp camera and services but trying to find out whats going on here in America.

I have to agree that Xbox Live does have XBLA Wednesdays which gives you a game every week. Sony should have no problems throwing out a PS1 game every Thursday instead of waiting for the following week. Sony could easly speed up the process and have more than 20 PS1 games on PSN. Sony should have at least over 100 PS1 just like Japan does if they release a game every week. It would offer more selection than what is just available there. Nintendo releases more than one virtual console game every Monday. Sony should learn from Nintendo and Microsoft if they want for the playstation store to be a success. It looks like Sony just lacks on what to put on PSN everyweek. For those who have Rockband/GH3 like I do then its get to see downloadable songs for both of those games. If you don’t have either of those games then you are out of luck. I hope that next Thursday Sony does a better job at the PSN update.
