Warhawk Operation: Broken Mirror details, trailer

I haven’t ran into any problems since the update, MOS6502. Have you tried a power cycle on your modem and router? I just replaced my router and it got rid of every single problem I had before. I was getting connection drops from my router and then I couldn’t join games due to “game full.” I would have to reset my router then check to see if my PS3’s IP address stayed in the DMZ. Now I just plugged in my new router and tried it out and boom no problems what-so-ever. I haven’t even got the downloading game settings ever since in COD4.

On another note- Please, Dylan, can you make it so we can use the APC and DropShip on the same map if we have them? I bet it’d be a really nutty game like that. Or just say that the air at Vaporfield Glacier is much too thin or something lol.

The fact is you are a liar & the details of 1.3 were never posted anywhere. I was correct in asking Dylan about said details, but it is also obvious that Dylan stopped reading the comments on this blog days ago. I love the new stuff, and can’t wait for OBM. The only problem I have with the update is this. I have been playing 4-on-4 games, and with allowing team switching, people have been switching and making the games 6-on-2 or 7-on-1. It’s ridiculous to try and play like that. I like playing on the same team with my friends as well, but I would rather not be able to switch than have to play games like that. Just my $.02

Yes the no team switch is a hugh negative when trying to play with friends, Warhawk has lost a big chunk of its fun factor because of this.

Please fix it Dylan, bring it and the balance teams option back to layer Ranked and Dedicated Player Servers

Oh and I almost forgot to say, each player could spawn with a sort a laser or have to collect a laser feature like when you collect the wrench and other features which when a player uses can point the laser at a target so that you can fire the artllery. this wouldn’t apply to the mortar as it would be personal opinion on the wear abouts of the target you may be attempting to hit.

And then a more realistic idea would be similar to that which is used in call of duty which is to get perhaps a UAV which lasts for a period of time allowing for the player with the artillery gun to kill as many players they can within a period of time.

Yeh I no what you mean by team swithcing. I always have someone who sees me in a tank or whatever and then switches team to take me out with an airstrike.

Ummm, I hope you know that you can still switch teams, just not on servers where you could have a cheap advantage (like flight CTF) where people who need team cross just join, change to the winning team and leave. To make sure, before you join the games scroll down with the RIGHT thumb stick and look to see if the “Allow Team Switch” box is checked or not. In fact, right now the problem is that Team Switch allows to switch teams even if they’re not even teams, I got into a round and it was ridiculous, the odds were 18 - 13, I was on 13, and just to check the rumor, I pressed team switch and the odds became 19 - 12….pretty ridiculous

Either way, Dylan if you’re still reading this blog for comments and what not…have you guys ever considered adding NPC’s to the game? like a map where there’s a creature of sorts that is not neutral but rather attacks whatever it sees….however, it can be taken down and can be LURED to the enemy base for your team’s advantage….or even one that’s present on death match where you have one more thing to take care of other than everyone else…just my two cents

I dont know HOW Im the last person seeing this but everything looks amazing (especially the shield). But can I make a request? Hows bout having some sort of indicator showing that Im almost dead?

I’ll often be flying around in a warhawk dodging all sorts of mess and I just so happen to forget to check my health. Of course when I do realize it, someone decides at that very moment to just shoot me once and off me.

How bout a beeping sound of some sort?

And how bout toning down the mines? I hate driving across the map and getting raped by some random mine someone left 5 minutes ago. Not to mention landing on one in a warhawk where I couldnt see it even if I tried.

By the way, why not a Lava Level, maybe someday? ;]

I think a lava-esque level would be rather interesting, don’t you? Say it takes place in a crater near the earth’s core or something. Lots of scattered islands strewn out among the seas of lava–imagine the warhawk fights!

As far as new vehicles go, I always thought some sort of hovercraft/powerboat or something for levels with water/lava would be interesting. Or even a powerbike for individual recruits to ride! Haha.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you personally for these enhancements. I’ve yet to buy either booster pack, but I will as soon as Sony releases those PSN cards. I don’t like having my credit card on the PS3, I’d rather use a gift card of sorts. So I’ll wait for those, but I GUARANTEE I will be getting these booster packs :] I can’t wait!

move along stat-padder. you got to Commander the “hard way”? i didn’t know tossing the flag was the “hard way”. you must remember, now, all Warhawk stats are public. using your PSN ID, sunfire61594, I see that you have almost 29 points/min…..which is impossible unless you flag-toss. you also have 72000 points in 40 hours? yeah, ok. move along stat padder.

warhawk is a cool game with all its vehicles and different weapon choices and stuff but one thing that I really enjoy that is used in halo 3 is a forge option where you are able to create maps of your own and add different scenery and things like that. I also think it would be cool if instead of needing to switch to the knife you could jsut press a button like circle or something to knife like in call of duty four

Since you seem to take a personal hand in responding to Warhawk questions, I have one that is nagging me. I’ve been playing Warhawk since October 2007 and can’t seem to rank up–the honest way, anyways. I know what I’m missing–the Warhawk Recruiting Ribbon–which doesn’t seem to have much to do with how you get the ribbon. But I would ask you–for those of us who are not “Flight”-oriented in Warhawk, shouldn’t you still be able to rank up? I fly, but the requirements for this particular ribbon (Fly 4 mins, kill 4 enemies, kill one enemy in a vehicle, in a RANKED game) is tough unless you cheat. Now, I listen to cheating (”hey, can you help me get my rank up?”, “can you help me get XX medal”, etc) all the time but choose not to do likewise, I prefer to earn my rank and rewards honestly. But, that said, I am stuck at Airman First Class and can’t seem to get past it. Could you add another (perhaps “ground”-oriented) way to rank past A1C?

Warhawk recruiting is not as hard as you think. It’s just like anything else in the game. Practice,Practice, Practice. Try playing 3-4 games, and do nothing but fly. If you get shot down, get back up and do it again. Also, if your not already, try and fly in Pro-Flight mode. I’m not the best pilot by any means, but if you try all this and are still having problems, add me on PSN and I’ll see if I can fly some cover for you.

4X4 kills are easy. Simple answer is run people over. You can also use a mounted 50cal in the back of the 4X4.

@Dino1626: Check my stats Dino–I’ve been trying for quite a while and like I said, I’m not “flight-oriented” so spending that much time in the air is a major challenge and I know I can’t be the only one. It just seems like there ought to be some other way you can rank past that requirement. I have air kills–MGs, Air Mines and AAMs, but killing a ground trooper and one in a vehicle and staying airborne for 4 minutes in a ranked game has eluded me. You may be confused( or maybe I’m confused). You do not have to stay airborne for 4 consecutive minutes. You need to be airborne for a total of 4 minutes in the whole round. For ground troops, try the cluster bomb or TOW missle. For the vehicle try the the same, and remember that a turret counts as a vehicle. I’ll be on sometime tonight if you need help.

The Hurra!, good job out there, I’m on of the thousands Warhawk fans here in Mexico, we (a bunch of guys here at my job) reunite once a week to play WH,

The Complain!, For the most of us in Mexico is impossible to buy the Add-ons so we “starve” for this new stuff, hope you can do something in order to let us buy this (and other too) add-on

The Suggestion!, For all the people I know the “pistol” (hand gun), the one you already got when you respawn, is almost useless, I think you can supress it at all or change it for the rifle or other kind of ammo.
