i’m on my third copy of this game. I sent one back to Sony and they sent me another one that didn’t work. How do we get them to fix this since I’m not the only one?

I’m going to guess that this might not be seen (it’s been a few weeks since the last comment was posted), but just in case…

There is a thread on the MLB08 board — http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=mlb2007&thread.id=3243 — detailing a bug that I (and a number of other people) have encountered as infielders in Road To The Show: namely, our players will throw to the wrong base every so often. Example: I play as a SS in RTTS, and there is a double play opportunity — so I hit “X” to throw to 2nd base — but, instead, my player throws home. Or, another time, I got to throw the ball to 1st (”Square”) to get the runner out — but, instead, my player flips it to the 3rd baseman.

This will happen at least once every other game, sometimes multiple times a game. I love MLB08 — I’ve bought both the console and portable versions for the past three years — but this is the first time I’ve encountered a bug that dampens my enthusiasm for the game. RTTS is challenging enough, trying to get your player to the bigs — but when a glitch is adding an error to my player (and often costing our team the win) every other game, it’s dispiriting.

Hopefully someone will see this — I couldn’t find any other location to submit a bug or and error. If this could be patched in an update, it would go along way towards renewing my faith in your otherwise fantastic game.

I’m just at a lost here. More of a catch 22. I’m a SP for the minor league Yankees that lacks in pitching skills. Of course training points will help me; however, I never can give credit to pitching attributes because it goes all to “achievement goals”. After a while, I end up playing games where on average. 44-100 tpg. because the opposing batters are taking me for a ride… Very frustrating to say the least. Now, I can’t even achieve my goals due to lack of points (sigh). Adding the cherry on top, Attributes decreases over a period of team. Isn’t that amazing? It would make since that “training points” can be accumulated in “practice” and not real games, but you lack a practice mode…Is there any tip that can help me get out of this situation?

Why is there a 53 song limit on the songs you can select from your HDD to make a playlist with?

I’m still trying to figure out why it doesn’t display my 100+ songs(HDD)

What’s up with the roster updates? I updated my rosters and guys like Hiroki Kuroda are still not in the game. He was signed by the Dodgers 3-months ago.

How come we can’t get this freezing error corrected. It was the same problem last year!!! I have a belkin router, and the screen freezes at the same point as it did during last years version. This is ridiculous!! I went into my router and opened up all the ports that Sony recommends TCP and UDP, and still nothing.

“tmack” this is a problem, google the following : “mlb 08 the show belkin”. You will see how many people have this same problem!!

If it’s the router, you need to let us know, and maybe it will stop people from purchasing this game, as I would have because I’m not about to go and get a new router right now.

Man I can get the game til the 13th (birthday) each day is killing me!!!!! thank you for this great! game have been playing since 06 (idk If you guys are related to MLB 2006 either, I played that and saw it was very similar)

I have a minor problem that hopefully someone can help with. I have a bunch of music on my psp and when I go to create a new playlist with the my ‘mlb music feature’, it tells me that it can’t find any files on my memory stick duo. I’ve listened to the songs on my psp before, so I know they work. All my songs are through itunes, but that shouldn’t be a problem, should it? I don’t know what’s the problem, but I would like to fix it. Thanks for anyone who helps.
