Its only free on Macintosh and Windows system since they payed the fee. However yellow dog linux users will have Gnash in YDL 6.0 they are more concerned with nothing at this time. They think that what we have is good enough. It is typical of Sony US to be this way. maxmize profits and not listen to end-users….

However, The problems is, Playstation Home will never come here, it seems they want to charge for it. What can we do? Nothing we are all at the mercy of big corporation. Only thing I like about Sony is that the network (to play online games) is free. Microsoft, the richest corporation in the US charges you to use their online gaming which turned me off the X-Box 360. Greed is the main core of the USA now. It wasn’t like that long ago.

All I want is the following.
The Home (online community)
Flash 9 Update.
better Browser (like opera or firefox) because i go to http://www.qrz.com and it keeps asking me over and over again to allow the plugin. I say yes it refreshes the page thus causing it to ask again i say no the same result The browser sucks.I want the asking of the use of the plug-in either made to remember your responce or not ask at all and say yes to all..

AND XVID support. This device isnt truly DIVX Certified since my DIVX CERTIFIED dvd player can play all formats of divx. thats it

1. Reactivate the multi-channel SACD to DTS downconversion feature over optical. That was an amazing feature and I didn’t even get to use it!

2. More compatibility with audio formats like DTS CD’s, WAV files at higher bitrates, DTS WAVs, 24/96 uncompressed stereo files, FLAC, FLAC 5.1, etc.

I am a new PlayStation 3 owner, so I have little experience with the old store. Suggestions: There should be an option to disable the pop-up notification that that the item is now in your cart since I went through all the demos to download them all. In addition, a bulk download and install function would be totally awesome. I downloaded and installed every single demo and that took 2 days of constant watch over the PS3 and by using Remote Play on my PSP. I love Remote Play!

The problem is that letting the PS3 decode regular DD and DTS and send it as PCM to my receiver keeps my receiver from adding further processing to the sound, like Dolby ProLogic IIx. This way I cannot enjoy 7.1 sound from regular DD and DTS source, unless I set the PS3 back to bitstream. So a new “automatic” option would allow the PS3 to send regular DD and DTS always as bitstream, and all high def audio formats as LPCM. I think that would be easy to implement and would prove very, very convenient (even my HD-DVD was able to do that)…. Please, please, Sony…. :)
Another useful feature would be let the US PS3 play region free PAL DVD disks, like shows. There are lots of DVD players in the market capable of that. Please, please, Sony… Lets make the PS3 the perfect DVD/Bluray player… :)

I use to be able to download movies from this website to my ps3 hard drive, now It dosent show the hard drive as a selection to save to, it shows my usb connection like my ipod.It wont show the ps3 hard drive as a option to save the movie to. i hate that. please sony allow the ps3 to save movies off the internet to the hard drive. please.please put it back like it was, for example…when i use to click on a movie to download of this website on the internet,the ps3 option pops up an it tells me do i want to save it to my hardrive or my usb connection, but now whit this new ps3 update it dosent show the hard drive as a option to download my movies to. I like the new store look,,but i dont like that i cant download movies to my hardrive off the internet no more…please fix it..
