IE it’s what makes games like SOCOM a major set twords real hard core PC style gameing. IE make us still use the PS3 branded controllers, but give us extra text chat options, and even the use of mouse for RPG item pages, as well as screenshot support.

Plus if it was a standard feature in all PS3 online games we would have a major step over the Xbox360 in the communication department. As almost every body has a USB keyboard of some type, and many more have Blue Tooth ones as well.
