Solid update. Funny that the Grid demo has almost as much content and features as GT5:Prologue for free though…

Pretty good update. 3 demos and a trailer I actually want to check out.

Nice use of the new blue color to separate the different sections. I’ll be getting the Pixejunk Monsters expansion and checking out the Grid demo. Thanks!

@52 and 54, Codemasters has always done damage very well, going back to their Toca race games (which were incredible) on the PS2/PC. Dirt was another great example. I expect this to be incredible as well.

That said, nobody and I mean nobody has the vehicle visual accuracy and handling accuracy that Gran Turismo does. If you want to race a car with great racing and great damage, buy any CodeMasters racing game. If you want perfect looking cars on perfect looking tracks with perfect performance modeling, buy Gran Turismo.

If you’re a true racing fan, you’ll own both anyway.

Yay!!!!!!!! :)
It’s about time we got some frickin sweet demos. Sony, I luv u. Don’t tell anyone though, I have others and they might get jealous. Seriously though what’s all this crap about Home getting delayed ’till november now. Haven’t I been good to you, why you godda treat me like a punk. I thought you and I had something special. Also I think I might trip balls playing Mirrors Edge on my big screen plasma, so make sure to send a lifeline with the game, in case I go crazy and decide to jump through my t.v., I may need to be sedated, heavily.

What is this:
Game Demos (free)

* SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 2 Demo (also downloadable via PS3)

And why is not included with the other Game Demos but instead listed at the end in a 2nd “Game Demos” section? Both say free and for the ps3??

Does anyone know if the Grid demo supports using a Logitech G25 racing wheel? None of past demos except GT HD supported it, wondering if I should waste my time with this one…

Hey what is up with the store functions. The content for today is great by the way kudos. But when i click to download the demos they just sit still in the checkout section. Ridiculous. I was under the impression the once you click download it would do so just like when you are downloading a video file or even a theme. Can someone at Sony clear this up. I prefer the old way where once you select download it goes to the download window and either starts or is in queue waiting on another file to finish. Thank you.

To #40, the game is called Rocketmen, not Rocketman. I think it’s a completely different game. I did a search on the Web and the game was on Xbox Live Arcade also. I don’t think it has anything to do with Rocketman.

Probably should have spaced out your demos. I wouldnt run more than 2 a week. I am sure next week we might get 1 or none even, but we shall see.

Also, as said before, NA NEEDS some PS1 games. I say this every week, and I know so many good ones, like Legend Of Dragoon, which I beleive was made by Sony. Shouldnt be too hard to get it up on the store. Give us something, or even a list of games your working on to put on the store.

ANY news is better than NO news. Hope to see something soon.

Wow…I can’t believe there are still people not satisfied with THIS update. I mean, I heard about Haze…but Bourne? Hell no I had no idea! Awesome update! But noooo instead of praising it…its more of the same whining and [DELETED]. No matter which side of the fanboy-ism you are…you’re just never satisfied. Do me a favor and run your OWN company and put up a website for people to go to. Lets see how well you do

It’s 2008, EXACTLY. So why would they want to put up a bunch of crappy old PS1 games that came out in 1995?

Awesome update.

Personally, I’d rather have Sony devote their efforts to bringing original content to PSN like flOw, pixlejunk monsters, and echochrome, or full games like WipEout, Socom, & Warhawk than trying to bring back PS1 classics. However, those PS1 classics will always be welcomed here and there.

I won’t call them crappy games. I still have a lot of PS One games. I just don’t get why some people are complaining about it. If I want to play them I’ll just pull them out and play them. Did people throw out their old games? I still have most of the old games I bought. Don’t ask how many that is. I put them in CD cases and filled three with PS One and PS2 games. There were some great classics. I would just prefer new stuff though.

Wow! One of the best updates ever for the PS3: Rocketmen:AoE, PJM Encore, three demos, GH & RB DLC, a bunch of videos and some themes/wallpapers… this is becoming habit forming!!! :)

…the update for the PSP, not so much.

I find it laughable that you you bring over ONE old, previously released demo for the PSP from us.playstation.com. I know this demo was available since last Christmas since it was one of the first downloads my son had from the in-device web page. Last week you added content that was previously released on the Store, the Wyclef video. What message would you say regurgitating old content sends to current Store users about Sony’s support for the PSP?

So will we see all the other legacy PSP demos added to the store one at a time? I really feel they should be added to the store in one fell swoop.

BTW, to all the PSone game haters: If you don’t care to have PSone games added to the store, NP, but let us old skool gamers ask for what we want without the hate. You don’t need to know why we want to play PSone games on our newer hardware. News flash: I still watch DVDs and listen to CDs, too! kthxbai

The problem is the crying over no PS ONe games when the update this week is huge. Some people just have to find something to cry about. If I want to play old PS One games I probably still have it. Did you not have a PS One or did you throw out your old games?
