  • Ok so the updates were late and we all got pissed. But when they arrived and i was wowed. Great demos, and vids. Guitar Hero GOW track was amazing. But the highlight was Qore. I am still checking out it features but so far it is at least worth the $2.99. I think Sony has a good thing going here especially since they got Veronica Belmont to be the host, she is hot. Qore is what i have been looking for. All things Playstation. An in depth look at what the games coming out for it, the new features that it will support etc. You get that PS community feeling and belonging to something great. I rather this instead of having to go to other sources that do not show much PS3 information or most times play it down as the second choice. I am kinda glad Qore is here. It does have its faults but that’s for tomorrow.

  • Yeah thanks for the update.

LOL-LP47 U were one of the lucky ones. =D

  • finally got home and am finished trying out demos and qore. Really a great update. For the price Qore was about right. Soulcalibur IV looks nice as well.

  • I also just finished downloading a few demos and tried out QORE. I ended up buying a year subscription to get the free game because i read good things about it here.

After viewing most of it I think it was worth it. The SOCOM info was great and getting Beta is a sweet deal…. The other videos were cool and the idea is pretty neat… A virtual magazine really…

  • Wow, BF: BC demo is the best demo on PSN since Burnout: Paradise. Seriously you guys that demo has me sold.

  • Wow, I remember how Burnout’s demo completely sold me on the game…I better avoid the Bad Company demo like the plague, because I have no money! Just kidding, I gotta try the demo.

  • Look’s like a very solid update.

  • Nice update. I’ll pick up Qore for sure and the BF demo too.

  • Hey jusy wondering I heard the SOCOM BETA went live today why cant I download the beta from Qore it says its not there to come back later why?Hopefully someone respondes to me as I only see 2 responses to any one here probably because there is so many comments. PLEASE ANYONE do you have any answers?By the way this update is freakin awesome way to go!!!!Oh and yes I bought the annual subscription if it makes a difference.

this is my first blog so forgive me but i had to say something about charging for content. i own both “3rd gen” systems and i read up on both before i bought either one of them, and i knew coming into it i would have to pay for certain services. live does have some cool stuff but i paid a subscription fee for that and i couldnt even get online to play with other people before that.didnt we all drop hudreds of dollars for this system?what you thought that was all you had to pay?qore is an awesome idea, it cuts out on using paper and it gives u something that yeah you have to pay for but its exclusive stuff and i say bring more. im not rich by all means but i knew when i bought these systems that i would have to pay for research and development and keeping new advancements in the gaming industry flowing ’cause lets face it no one wants to work for free no matter how fun the job.keep it coming PSN!

  • As long as Sony don’t charge for online service, I’m good.

  • bought the first issue of Qore. Can not download the Socom beta. Basically paid $2.99 to dowload a Theme and see an advertisement everytime I clicked something. That aside, I did like the force unleashed material. Still, I could find out just as much or more info and footage of these games on gaming sites around the internet for free.

And the install of Qore messed up my games. It put the games in separate folders I now have to move through to get to my games. Did anyone else experience this?

  • Best PSN update ever , and not because of it’s content. It’s all about the comments this weak , seriously.

  • QORE was GREAT! Can’t wait for the next issue!

  • I for one one would like to see alot more PS1 classics on the PSN! I love what they’re doing with this and im sure most of you agree with me on this…

  • I will give a 5 rating if you ever put out a PS1 game. Doesnt matter which one, but I need to boost your confidence when you do.

  • hey I was just wondering if you guys were bringing playstation network cards at all?

  • PLAYSTATION, insert A MUTE player function on ALLLLLL games. My children were playing ONLINE and all of a sudden other kids were just dropping the F-BOMB every other word. Needless to say we SHUT IT OFF.

PLAYSTATION, if you market this as a family entertainment console, please make it more FAMILY oriented.

  • @1570

I hope it isn’t a game in the first place that is rated over the childrens age. If it is you have no right to complain in the first place as they shouldn’t even be playing the game. Also, it isn’t up to Sony to add in the mute player option before in game xmb is released. That would be the developers fault so know who you are blaming before you get upset. The PS3 is also for hardcore gamers. They try to advertise for the younger demographic yes, but the majority of games are for hardcore gamers. If you are looking for a good family console then I suggest you sell your PS3 and get a Wii.

  • Rock Band price promotion: “CrushCrushCrush” – Paramore, “Rock N Roll Band” – Boston, “Gimme Three Steps” – Lynyrd Skynyrd, “Dirty Little Secret” – All-American Rejects, “We Care a Lot” – Epic, “All the Small Things” – Blink 182, “Shockwave” – Black Tide, and “Sugar Magnolia” – Grateful Dead are reduced to $0.99 until June 12th.

I just logged in to buy some of these and all of the tracks are listed at $1.99. Obviously it’s still June 12, so what’s the deal?

  • Many comments… Any chance someone has read all 1573. :/
