  • Hmmm …looks like an awesome update! Gonna check it out right now, if it’s up and ready.

PSN ID: Zemus101 (Add me and compare trophies!)

  • No PS1 games again? At least we get a Siren demo.

  • so is the SSHD team add-on released again or do we just get a trailer for it???

  • Fourth!!!!
    YAY!

    Nice update.

  • I’m not able to check my PS3 right now, but why is the Team expansion for SSHD not back yet? Shouldn’t it have come back when 2.41 went live?

  • looks like a pretty good update, thanks!

  • aww, Nothing much for the PSP once again this week… =(

well, At least the PS3 gets some cool demos this time!

  • No Madden 09 Demo??????

  • Anyone else think it’s funny that the Wall-E demo is 1MB?

  • @9

    that cant be right…..can it?

  • First!!!!!! NOT!!!! :/

  • When will the Team pack add-on for Super Stardust HD become available again? It would be really nice to be able to get that final trophy:) It would also be really nice to see some of the PSN games that we know are coming to start hitting the store (PixelJunk Eden, Wipeout HD, Siren BC, Elefunk, Bionic Commando, SSF2THDRemix, etc.). I’m happy with what we have, but I’m ready for some new games already, we’re halfway through summer!

  • is the walli demo really that small or is that 1.02 Gigs?

  • Sweet, thanks!!!

  • No team pack add-on for SSHD? I just checked and it’s not in the store nor the in-game store!

  • @9
    Yeah i noticed that also

  • Four demos? Very nice – thanks

  • @9

good catch, yeah of course that should be 1.02 Gigs.

  • WALL-E Demo
    File size: 1.02 MB

    Wut

Siren demo and R6V2 fan pack for me.

  • I am guessing the demo is likely 1 GB.. There isnt much that can fit into 1MB anymore. Even pix from a digital camera get bigger than that.

    My bet is 1GB.

  • Thank you Grace for the new content love keep it coming any idea when the naruto ultimate ninja storm demo will come out

  • @20

All that and only 50 bucks eh? Sony does the same thing, they had E3 coverage updates last year.

  • Someone once asked me the difference between ignorance and indifference.

    I told them I don’t know and I don’t care.

  • wonders why anyone still gives a crap about E3…..

  • Supersnake you should know last E3 Sony gave us the full coverage with lots of trailers and didn’t announce ANYTHING in a press release about it.

  • Lot’s of demos yay.

  • Yay, not even past the first page yet and the troll comments are here!

  • @22

The demo is already out with QORE, but if you want it without QORE, it will be released next week for free.

    @20

Caring about there custumers? Yea they are, but so is sony, ingame xmb?

Anyhow this update gets a 3/5 from me.

No content on the PC store is not a good thing, nice demos, but thats the only good thing about this update.

You guys can do better by releasing PS1 CLASSSICS.

  • It’s a pretty good update.

  • Wow ! great update.

Any info on Darkmist or Elefunk?

  • @29, I agree, Sony cares and listens to their customers. I am very pleased so far with InGame XMB, it has brought the system to a new level.

I am disappointed that it took way too long for it to come out. Hopefully, Sony will move a little more quickly with the rest of the features it NEEDS to complete with M$ Live!

And yes, some more PS1 Classics would be really nice.

  • @ 29 i plan on buying Core but i have to wait until the PSN cards get here and thanks for the info

  • @ Stoffinator

    I agree, it’s pretty good.

On another note, after seeing what SouthPeak Games has in store for PS3 owners at E3, I won’t be buying any of their games, including Monster Madness.

  • EXCELLENT update. great job. can’t wait to check out the Siren demo and let my girlfriend try out the WallE demo (she keeps asking me to buy the game after seeing the movie).

Rainbow map packs for free?! is it christmas yet? Calypso Casino was my favorite map from Rainbow Six 1. can’t wait.

INCREDIBLE update before E3. thanks again.

  • Grace, thank you for those 4 free demos & especially for the game video of SOCOM: Confrontation. Would it be possible to release the game video of Aquanaut’s Holiday for next Thursady’s update?

  • That’s what im talking about!

  • Not a bad update considering the proximity to E3. Next week’s update should be ginormous.

  • Decent update today. I’d love to play the Siren demo but my PS3 died today. One year and 4 months after my purchase my beloved PS3 apparntly has an over heating problem accourding to the Sony Rep I talked to. It won’t even turn on so all of my saves are lost and MGS4 is trapped inside. I paid $600.00 and now you want $150.00 to fix it. Not a good day today.

  • At this point I think it would be in SCEA’s best intrests to flat out say here “We’re not interrested in releasing PSone games”.

The whole “Securing the rights is hard” thing is just an excuse. SCEE and SCEJ dont seem to have any trouble with securing rights.

Please SCEA either actually start putting forth the effort required to release more PSone games or flat out say here “despite the fact everyone here seems to want them(PSone games) really really badly, we’re not interrested in putting any time, effort or resourses into releasing any PSone games at this time or for the forseable future”

  • Hey, I want to know when the Super Stardust HD Team Pack will be back online? I can’t find it anywhere.

  • Pretty solid update, I’d say.

If the PS Store team could get some more PS1 classics, namely some RPG’s, I bet a lot of us would have no problem handing over some cash…

  • You guys remember the Sony Playstation? It had games you played on it? Like “Brave Fencer Musashi,” “Ehrgeiz,” “Xenogears,” “Aquanaut’s Holiday,” “Metal Gear Solid,” “Resident Evil” and “Resident Evil 2,” and hundreds more amazing video games?

Never heard of it, have you? Huh. Didn’t think so.

But lord be praised we get more videos this week; I’m hoping for another “Fred Claus” trailer next week.

  • lol people… wall-e is 1053 mb anyway.. good update… anyway why the people keep asking for ps1 games? :S… they keep living so yesterday… I know some games need to be there like mgs1 and resident evil but the only psone game that is good are castlevania and rtype

  • PSOne classics, … how many times do you need to be told Sony!, every single person on this board has probably said it at least once by now, it’s time to start seeing eye-to-eye with your international extremities, ie… Europe and Japan, both have more PSOne classics, than the most Nostalgiac people on the planet… North Americans… what is that all about?

Until you have MGS, Final Fantasy VII, and the PSOne Resident Evils up on PSN, I fear you’re slapping us all in the face, clearly it’s ridiculous, seeing as English is not a conversion you would need to make once you’ve localized for Europe, yes?

  • You know what? I’m of sick of your attitude, Sony. Where’s our Super Stardust High Definition Team Add-on? Huh? Whatsamattawit you? Whatsamatta? I want my last SSHD trophy, before I move on to Burnout, Uncharted, and the like. I think I speak for all my gaming brethern when I say that we aren’t gonna take it. no, We ain’t gonna take It. Oh, we’re Not gonna take it anymore! Oh! Oh MAN don’t get me started! We’re technically correct! We’re not captive! We’ll harm you with a variety of objects! You’ll be proved incorrect by way of involuntary witness!

  • The Demos are nice and the rock band stuff is cool, but why is there no love for the PSP? Not a great update at all but thank you. I have a feelin that next weeks will be really good.

  • weak update, already played the Siren demo on the japanese store.

  • @38

Yes my ps3 will break down and because of its less than 2% failure rate its going to happen tomorrow.

Oh and no I dont own a 60gb launch ps3, because I am an idiot that doesnt know what he’s talking about.

  • @38

Also that “PSN will never touch XBL” statememnt seems rather fanboyish, I suggest not doing that.

Since this is a blog for PLAYSTATION FANS.

Even if what you say is complete bull cr#p good day =)

  • Also, when do we get the mysterious TEAM ADD ON for SSHD? Some people have it, some dont, whats going on?
