I bought a PS3 specifically for the FF franchise, I didn’t buy a PS3 just to find out 2 years later it’s now on the cheaper console that I could have bought back then and saved $200 on.
Unless this is some joke on Microsoft and you have the exclusity bagged and are going to announce it tomorrow, you’ve pretty much messed up 2008.
There never should have been a question about this game, it should have been, in-stone, a PS3 exclusive but you blew it.

Vistrix the opint is ff ahs alwasy been a sony thing. that was the one and only reason me and many others wanted a ps3 over xbox 360. now there is no point to getting a ps3 anymore. gears and halo own anything resistance or killzone can do. so now sonny just lost their hardcore rpg fans while sony was trying and failing to win the shooter crowd.

How can we be calm? Final Fantasy XIII WAS one of the reason I bought my PS3, and now the game is coming to 360 is VERY disappointing.
I was just watched Microsoft’s presentation. It really just looked like a bunch of rip offs from Sony. Like Lips, the new avatars for the 360. The avatars are just a crap version of PlayStation home(I CANT WAIT FOR IT) Lol. Tomorrow will be a great day. I’m pissed off at SquareEnix though

This is a huge blow. I’ve been a Sony fan since the original Playstation, and one thing Sony always had going for them was the FF series.
I watched the entire press conference, and with the 360s new Live features and FF13, unless something huge happens tomorrow, MS just won the console wars.
Sony no longer has the kind of clout they did with 3rd parties. That’s why no one outside of capcom bothers with psn or making anything exclusive for it. I hope that bluray money will make it worth losing the entire gaming division.
Oh and btw blu ray sucks. I dont want to watch movies. i want to play some god damn games. mostly ffxiii on my brand spankin new xbox 360. well i dont have one yet. but now i’m going to the store and buying one. because now its and easy no brainer. no more holding back for me. ps3 lost.
After much thought the only way people will be able to forgive you Sony is if tomorrow you say that there will be a FFVII remake and it comes out in 09. Because other then that nothing you could show will be great. So even though I have not seen what you guys over at Sony or Nintendo are making I say MS won with E3 with showing FFXIII. I thought lossing GTA4 was bad this is a bomb shell. So you had better show off stuff people want and no things like casual games or you will be destroyed in hate mail. So all I can hope is you show some thing good not BAD.
Well I am a shooter fan but I am a rpg fan too. If u have been loyal to the ff series on the playstation brand u wouldnt understand that piece of crap company just did.
How, how did you guys let Final Fantasy get away from the PS3. You guys should have kept that one. It would have definately destroyed the Xbox360. Now, competition has gotten even stronger, with the 360 coming down in price as well. Sony needs to secure more exclusives. Letting final fantasy go did not help at all.
