WOW, HUGE UPDATE

3

misteroy  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:17 pm

Awesome thanks.
By the way, i am very frustrated that Europe cannot get to watch XAM’d: lost memories on PSN. We pay so much more than US consumers, yet we get the shaft.

(I just saw Buckethead in concert last month!)

Also, it looks like i’m gonna finally get to try out PAIN now that it’s only $5.00!! does this include the new areas and characters also?

kinda shocked about parappa the rapper being $22!!

seems kinda high for a PSone game, eh?

it is for both the PS3 and PSP, right?

13

J3SS  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:22 pm

It’s all about Eden now!

14

Celdurant  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:23 pm

Omg what horrible timing. I just bought Pixeljunk Monsters yesterday! I should have bought SuperStardust instead so I could take advantage of this ><

19

MidnightBlues  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:24 pm

nice update….at 4.99 pain looks like a good buy especially since that new amusement park is coming and trophies will be released at the same time.

Can we earn any trophies in the demo of pixel junk eden? if not when is the game gonna be released?

20

IIIKAGEIII  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:24 pm

22

TheHater  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:24 pm

how long will the summer sales last? Because I will not be able to add funds to my wallet until the first week of August :(, and the money I have right now, it to buy PixelJunk Eden :(

23

Natepig  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:24 pm

Will 1942 have trophies?

On that note when are trophies coming to Pain and Pixel Junk Monsers?

24

Jenovah  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

Ah Parappa is the PSP UMD release….That explains the price :)

25

SnoopYTimes  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

Nice.
When are the PSN Cards coming to major retailers?
So I can also enjoy these great PSN games.

26

glennpfc  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

Why doesn’t the SCEE store have a sale on :( I agree we get shafted!

27

poprocker  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

Downloading all 12 episodes of Siren. I love where the PSN is heading with all this content!

28

EvilStealth64  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

i will get PAIN now! I just hope the soon-to-be update for PAIN is free

29

darkwing_uop  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:26 pm

Store is updated!!!!!

30

StupidityTries  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:28 pm

Someone seriously needs to rethink the pricing of PSP Classics. It’s cheaper to buy a used UMD than it is to purchase a download.

31

X820  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:28 pm

Thanks for the update.

32

SDkngsht  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:30 pm

1942 and Siren are cool additions. definitely excited about the PJ Eden demo and the SF2 trailers are all great news. all the themes and wallpapers are great too. excellent update overall. 5/5.

my only complaint would be $22 for Parappa? if it was a new game then maybe $19.99 but $22+ for a game that old? :|

other than that great update can’t wait to check out 1942 and Siren. been waiting on both.

33

Omen_20  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:31 pm

This is a great update. You gave us a good demo but even without Eden it would have been great. Lowering PJ Monsters down to half price and giving me some SFIV goodies really made me happy.

One question: What about movies/tv update? Is it going to be a while before we see content updates for it or is it getting a different day or what?

34

hobo-1  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:34 pm

No demo for 1942 pretty lame and no sale for me. Also wow really 22.99 for the Parappa psp game? That’s high way robbery right there.

35

tdh  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:34 pm

Time to start downloading all the goodies to my newly upgraded 250Gb HDD in my PS3. WOO~HOO!! Going to play that Eden demo until my fingers bleed!

36

Zaku  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:34 pm

Great update :)

37

VeganTnT  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:34 pm

NNOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I was bored last night (past midnight) and I figured I’d by Pain so I would have something to do AND have some practice for when the trophies are enabled.

I paid 10 bucks just 12 hours ago! =(

38

Phoenix8387  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:35 pm

Thanks for the update, can’t wait to give PJE a try.

BTW, is there any chance we’ll ever be able to download previously purchased content from the store front? I currently have 212 items in my download history and when I go looking for something (Say Qore) it can sometimes be a pain to spot.
It would be nice if we could just download them from the storefront without having to go through our download list.

39

SDkngsht  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:35 pm

OH! and SOMEONE PLEASE make X’amd available to save on my PS3? i want to get it so bad but i refuse to pay $4 to RENT an episode and then lose it 24 hours after watching it.

at least give us the OPTION of downloading it and keeping it on the PS3 and PSP.

40

kingv84  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:36 pm

Great Update! Can not wait till next update for full version of Pixel Junk Eden.

41

Snap  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:38 pm

Can someone from SCEA explain why PSP games are more expensive for digital distribution than on UMD?!

42

SDkngsht  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:38 pm

@ #38

ditto man. or at least let us break down and browse our download history by type (demo, game, video, add on, theme, etc).

43

mooboy  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:38 pm

when will the video store be updated?

44

MeltTech  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:39 pm

2 questions Grace.

When can we expect to finally see some updates for High Velocity Bowling? Great game, it just needs the finishing touches, like Trophies and Online Play (preferably w/ voice chat.)

Why isn’t the Metal Gear Online expansion on PS Store? It’s horrible the way we have to go through Konami.jp and give out our cc information. I’d prefer to keep all that important info safe with Sony inside my PSN account. Would it be possible to add this and future DLC to the PS Store?

Thanks, awesome update.

45

Phoenix8387  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:39 pm

Is it just me or is Rocketmen: Axis of Evil not showing up on the Summer Sale list?
Not that I would buy the game (or recommend it to anyone).

46

Joe  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:39 pm

Quick guestion for Pain should I wait to buy it if there is a bundle that comes with this pain version plus the expansion or will there be no bundle and if I wait I will have to pay more money.

47

Shaqneel  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:40 pm

Great Update! Particularly liked the PSN Game Sale and Pixel Junk Eden Demo. Keep these content filled updates coming!

48

btk88  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:40 pm

Great update

49

Phoenix8387  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:40 pm

@44
Ask Konami, they wanted to handle everything on their servers.

50

ftwrthtx  |  July 24th, 2008 at 2:40 pm

When will be get more PS Classics on the US PSN?

Every week several of us ask but we never get any responses.

Rainbow Six has been on the Eu store for some time now. Why not release it on the US PSN? It is an American game to begin with.
