OMG!!! The greatest update known to man!!! It’s unbelievable!!! Epic!!! HUGE!!!…not…

I just couldn’t help making fun of you guys that get overly excited for nothing spectacular…;)

I just love how Sony continually segregates each region when concerning store content. I feel like Sony has several step children.

@ FritoZ

I agree with the EyeCreate software needing fixing, I made an amazing stop motion of some of my metal gear, and tekken action figures that I bought some 10 years ago, I never would have opened them, but my son got into them at a young age, and now they’re free for making stop motion, anyway back to my original point… I made a movie, and it was no joke, pretty damn rockin’, I cut it, exported it, and then an unfortunate thing happened to my ps3, when I upgraded the hdd… It would no longer accept my previous hdd, to retrieve or modify the EyeCreate file through EyeCreate, and I have absolutely no way to re-import it into the software on my new hdd, so any hope of adding to it, or modifying it further, is dashed…

Sony please allow us to import audio/video into EyeCreate.

@158 whatisdelicious

Then you wouldn’t get all the bonus content, and additional features that came with the PSP version, including gamesharing, and whatnot.

FritoZ  |  July 24th, 2008 at 7:21 pm

@Kedaro-

glad to see I’m not the only one using the EyeCreate!

it is pretty basic compared to most comparable programs like Sony’s own Vegas,

but for regular users out there who have never used those sophisticated programs, it is very accessible and pretty d@mn fun! I’m really glad they included it..

BUT!

It DOES need some updates!

and then i think the PSN should have a movie festival!

we can upload our clips to YouTube!

!!!????I wonder if the new screen saving -uploading thingee will work for the eye, too?

that would be nice…

I posted a question back at #50 and as always, we seem to never get any responses on store updates.

Does anyone actually read these comments or are they all just ignored?

Thanks for the store update though.

Wow. After playing Eden, I have this to say: If I did drugs, this game would be my life. I would play all day, everyday.

However, I don’t do drugs, so this game holds my attention for small amounts of time. Don’t listen to the naysayers, it’s a great game (yet another simplistic masterpiece by PixelJunk, racers notwithstanding). Even better if you’re a pothead or into LSD, lol.

I really like the way PSN is doing Siren. I might actually buy the full game. The demo was certainly great, as was the previous game in the series. Kudos on this update PS team.

Oh yeah, and I just noticed in-game XMB and movie rentals. Wow, what an amazing summer! Go PS3!

Congrats to you Grace and to your team!
the SCEA PS Store team is so kicking ass compared to your Europeans counterparts.

Hey we finally got echochrome after all for both PSP and PS3… so what am I complaining about?

I guess we have a long time waiting before we get Siren, PixelJunk Eden… and any of that good stuff. That’s the price to pay for not speaking the same language as the US guess. But as for the summer sales, let’s just hope SCEE follows on your footsteps. For 3-4€ I would surely like to get my hands on Pain. Knowing that it will really be 4.99€… if it is ever put on sale.

Jeff
First question is Canada getting the video store eventually? If so, do you think it well be this year or next. Even if it is some time in the middle of 2009 I can be patient, it would just be nice to here something about it. I understand why it hasn’t some out yet with the fact of different distributers in Canada. All I want is some info please.

Nice seeing the price drop of some of these games.

I actually had one of them and paid the full price, but have played that game for over 6 mths now and like anything else, prices usually drop after a bit.

Thanks for the update.

Oh yeah, I’m gonna be buying some stuff this week. I’ll be picking up three games (PAIN, PJM, and Joint Strike) for a grand total of only 20 bones. I’d love to get Blood Curse also, but I would rather fill my hard drive with many smaller games than only a few huge ones. Hopefully a US Blu-Ray version will be released some day.

When do they update the video store O.O

Good update, but needs PSOne games. My PSP is starving.

This weeks Big release for PSP:
NOTHING

great releases each week on PSP all ‘nothing’ of it. If only had some PSOne titles to play when I’m not playing Nothing. Nothing is such a great game.

CitizenErased  |  July 25th, 2008 at 8:28 am

I picked up Pain and High Velocity Bowling(this game needs trophy support).

1942 and Siren…I won’t pick up just yet…

SONY please make trophy support an immediate requirement for developers. Please do not be lenient with this feature.

Siren’s episodic design should not be an excuse for lack of Trophy Support.

BTW Jeff Rubenstein - We are all still patiently waiting for your information on Elefunk Trophy support. ( I am waiting for your details so I can make my purchase decision.)

I can’t believe I haven’t seen more official XMB Themes for MGS4 released.

I’ve been waiting for some MSG4 character profile XMB Themes. I love Solid Snake but I also love the supporting cast: Liquid Ocelot, Otacon & Sunny, Drebin, Meryl & RAT PT 01, Campbell, Big Mama, Big Boss, B&B, Raiden, Vamp, Naomi, Metal Gear MK II/III…etc. Please more MGS themes.

PS Store staff keep up the good work! Wouldn’t mind seeing some exclusive SDCC videos… for next week’s Store update.

I loved the PixelJunk Eden Demo… I was just mad that I couldn’t keep replaying the levels though… I had to delete my save file, to replay them! Oh well, whatever it takes, I loved it!!!!

I would buy this game, but I can’t because the Playstation Network Cards aren’t out in the U.S.!
(You have to be tired of me saying that…)

@fritoZ and Kedaro
yeah I’ve been fiddling around with eyecreate too. my brother was making stop motions with some old LEGOs so I helped him with that every once in a while. What would help a lot is getting youtube uploading directly from eyecreate and better editing. Plus being able to put images and videos from the XMB onto your project.

@ FritoZ & thatsmartguywiththefro

I made some time lapsed sketch art with the ps3eye and Eyecreate, they were a little rushed, but you can see them on youtube, just search for Truthcell on there if you’re interested, I have many more elaborate works coming to youtube soon, in the same vein as those. Some more thorough drawings etc.

I brought 3 games from PSN today because of this sale, great stuff. A couple of suggestions though.

1) Could you update the original installation files to the most recent versions of each game, rather than having to install it, then load the game and have it to update.

2) HVB please could we have optional sixaxis spin motion and ball release timing via trigger or button. That would make the game so much better.

Thanks for reading through my comments, would love if you could pass them on to the relevant parties.

Since I don’t have the time that I had in the past I will write now.

First and the better thanks for let us (Puerto Rico) use the video store. I see that said subtitles but I don’t know if it had english caption because it had a dash where it said subs in the description. Another thing… why we have only the chapter 6 of the third season of prison break… I want to buy the season but you don’t have all the season. another cool thing is a buy all season thing.

Another thing is cool update… I think I will buy siren I liked the demo. I’m not that hyped about eden like many people here but I will buy it next week.

In another note, elefunk is really cool online and offline multiplayer.
