The US version of Piyotama is still missing one skin compared to the Japanese version. Would it be possible to have this made available on the store at some point?

If you load up the game you may notice that skin 01 is missing and only 02 -04 are present.

Can you pass this along to someone in charge of this sort of thing?

Good point. I thought we were supposed to see this by the end of the month? Come on . . . you guys were doing good for quite sometime; don’t start this delaying things crap again.

Nice Update. Time for me to kill some bandwidth. :)

Also, are you guys ever going to offer a subscription deal for the video store? I still feel like we have been left out when it comes to details about the video store.

I would like to take this time to request Comedy Central as a network too. I guess you guys will be introducing new studios and networks in the future. I hope so. Anyway keep up the good work.

HA HA. Sony can never keep promises. What Sony needs to do is, NOT OPEN ITS BIG MOUTH IN ANY CONFERENCE ABOUT RELEASE DATES OF THINGS.

Jack Says, Life with playstation available in the end of the month. WHAT Month? this month, next month? I guess not this month because 31 of July is the last day of the month. THANKS AGAIN SONY for keeping up your BROKEN PROMISES record. Boo!!!

34

+ fusen on July 31st, 2008 at 2:56 pm said:

One suggestion: Can you guys update PS Store with new contents early in the morning instead of in the afternoon?

And what’s up with PS Video Store? The movies and TV shows are updated on random days… You guys need to atleast inform us what new movies and TV shows you guys are adding.

+ FritoZ on July 31st, 2008 at 2:56 pm said:

my launch 60- gig PS3 has come along way, and it’s gotten better and better with every firmware update! I can almost see the day when

i actually have everything i could possibly want with my all-in-one home entertainment center…I really don’t want to sound

ungrateful, i really appreciate the level of innovation you guys have brought us consistantly since launch day! Thank you!

There are, however, just a few more nagging issues that need to be addressed before my baby is all grown up, so without further ado,

here is

*
**
*****
*********
*******************

++/Frito’s *Top Ten* Firmware/PS3 update wishlist!\++

1) ~MORE MUSIC VISUALIZATIONS!~

It’s time for some new ones! i love the 2 we have, but cmon!

And is it possible to be able to manipulate the visualizations like on the “other” systems? I know we can switch to the next effect

with the analog sticks, but it would be neat to be able to rotate and zoom in/out, change color, speed of flow, etc. etc… even the

PSone had that great ability…

and it would be GREAT to have the option to leave it on one setting of visualization instead of having it eventually phase to the next

effect..sometimes the one is perfect for the situation.. ( we spend alot of time listening to music streamed from my computer:) )

2) ~More In-Depth Profiles~

Allow our awesome new online profiles to be even more detailed, so friends can see stuff like what games we own so we can better invite

people, what type of music/movies/games we like, what model PS3 we have, etc. etc.! our profiles feel so cold and impersonal! Maybe

while group chatting, one person could host a streaming song for everyone to listen to whilst theu converse..Social Networking baby!

It’s all the rage with those darn kids nowadays! lol

3)~Friends Online Activity Indicator is Overkill!~

allow us to turn off the option to see the pop-up notification when the people on our friends list go offline and back online all the

time, it’s so annoying having it repeatedly pop up over movies i’m watching!! it really distracts from the experience of blu-ray! I

know i can just go offline, but geez! (if there IS an existing way to fix this and still stay online, let me know!)

4) ~In Game Soundtracks/Streaming Playlists Mandatory For All New Games!~

you hear it all the time-people want this option!

PLEASE allow streaming music from our Network computers and music from USB flash drives to play as custom soundtracks! that would be

awesome! (it can save HD space, waaaaaay more songs onthe computer, etc. etc.)

5) ~Timed Shutoffs for Controllers and Sleep Timer mode for PS3~

Allow us to have a timed shut off for our controllers that we can set, like after 5 min, 10, 20 etc. etc. after no controller

activity..it will save our battery life!. also a sleep function for the PS3 itself, so we can watch a Blu-Ray movie without fear of

falling asleep!

…Or even an option where after so much inactivity, the game/movie/song quits and launches into Folding@Home and auto starts a new

work unit..just ideas!

6) ~Fix the PS3 Web Browser!~

the PS3′s dirty secret! Please Allow flash v9! We can’t even watch videos on these very blogs or surf reliably with the PS3 browser

without it crashing…wtf?

7)~Fix Backwards Compatibility~

with the 60 gig launch unit in particular! alot of PS2 games still look horrible! ( like Final Fantasy 12 )

Early adopters like myself paid $700+ at launch and still have not seen this issue resolved. I know Tretton said no to any more BC in

the new 80 gig SKU’s, but why not stick with what you guys DID do, and finish the job, please!

8)~Fix the EyeCreate SOftware~

fix the stop-motion animation “snapshot” function in EyeCreate software to allow smaller bits of time, instead of having to manually

cut EACH and EVERY little frame, it takes an average of 1000+ for a 5 minute movie! then we can have a PS3 blog movie festival!

9)~Bring Play TV to the US!~

’nuff said.

10)~Video Store Atrocities~

Cmon guys, either lower the price of rentals at the new movie store, or extend the viewing time/limits…it’s embarassing! sorry, it had

to be said. I’m excited about using the store, but i can rent them cheaper, keep them longer, and watch them as many times as i want

at a traditional store or with NetFlix! You have to make us WANT to rent! Just because it’s there isn’t enough reason..

AND GIVE US SOME GOOD PSONE CLASSICS PLEASE.

You missed a projected release date? Fine. Why not tell us about it? The blog should be used for more than just bringing crafted marketing messages to us. That’s not what a blog is meant to be.

Don’t you guys have one community relations person who can help out with things like this?

I would love to rent movies from PS Store but SONY Blocks your IP address, even though you are American with an American credit card and American home address. Just because am overseas in Germany, I can not download movies. Stupid. I rent movies from iTunes from Germany using my American credit card and Home address with no problem. If SONY wants my money, they need to use iTunes model of Video Rental distribution. Apple is making extra money by support Americans overseas.
