  • You see, what we’ve got here is…, failure to communicate…

Either that, or Son’y purposely trying to get us riled up so that right before midnight they can “wow” us by actually keeping a date with no delays for once. If that’s the case, they’re boneheads…

Also, I hate when people say things like “they’re probably just getting everything in order to release a non-glitched version of it(whatever “it”may be)” or “they want to give us quality instead of rushing it”. My question to these people is this: Have you EVER seen anything put out in the last couple years, by Sony, that didn’t have any problems? It’s gonna have problems, unfortunately we’ve come to expect it, so release it already or give us some kind of excuse…

  • Am I the only one disgruntled by the lack of rumble in Soul Calibur IV? Moreover, to make it worse, Namco Bandai has the nerve to release downloadable content that doesn’t address this issue. Why is it the 360 version of the game has rumble but the ps3 version doesn’t? Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Grand Theft Auto 4 were rumble enabled on the ps3 and they were released months before Soul Calibur IV. Is this lack of rumble for the ps3 version and inclusion of rumble for the 360 version just another sign of how much Sony has pissed off 3rd party developers? I hope Jeff or someone on this blog can let Namco Bandai know that they need to patch the ps3 version of Soul Calibur 4 so it can be rumble enabled like games released months before it. I don’t think I’m asking for much for someone at Sony to request that Namco Bandai patch the ps3 version of Soul Calibur IV so it can at be rumble enabled, just like previous versions of soul calibur on the ps2.

  • @ 248

Well not here, in the US, its under the new releases. With the date of July 30 2008. Hmm But Eden also has the date of July 30.

  • @224
If playTV were to ever come out in the states, they’d have to make a few changes to the hardware. Europe uses DVB-T for digital broadcasts while the U.S. uses ATSC. It could happen, but it’d take some initiative from SCEA since the only places that use ATSC are north america and a tiny part of south america.

  • @253

It actually HAS been out a while here in the states, I remember seeing it the first day I got my 80 gig PS3. That was Feb. of this year.

  • @ 255

Well I got my 80 gig in january and have been going through the ps store all day today and i never had it, so does that mean the certain ps3’s get content and others don’t?

  • awesome update might play the madden 09 demo :-)

  • @252

I just think Namco was lazy to implement it, I think you may see a patch for it later. Its not becasue they are ‘pissed’ at Sony. No company would intentionally gimp their own game.

  • No, it’s not that, you probably just never noticed it before.

  • @ 258

I never had before today, and why would it be under new releases right next to eden.

  • what the hell is the snake game?? never seen it before what in gods name is it and why didnt u guys mention it????

I guess your promoting eden so much you decided to omit some other releases??? lol….

  • update just out about PSLife, for those of you wondering what was up.

  • Guys, Snakeball has been available for awhile…since Dec 20th
    https://blog.playstation.com/2007/12/20/playstation-store-update-15/

    @251

    Yes, they have released a few things without a hitch. Surprised everyone with the hardware quality of the PS3. Little to no problems with systems at all, which is certainly a surprised after that whole PS2 DRE fiasco. <<;

  • Kratos_ate_Snake

    Awesome update.

  • awesome update! just bought eden. gotta wait for the g/f to stop watching tv so i can get to some grimping.

    cheers,
    Lh

  • OK so here is the truth about the hole thing ( sorry it took so long for me to figure it out ) but everybody here @ the PS blog is pretty much PR and we know it, how do i know, well think about it they only answer questions that can get positive answers nothing negative/ =the f-ing truth nobody answers the questions like where in the hell is PS life or when is home coming or how come we can by hd movies from the video store or if there ever will be a subscription for it, oh but ask anything like should we buy this game (any game)and everybody will answer you, so where in the hell is PlayStation life and when do we get home?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  • @ 261 (FritoZ)

    Where?

  • They really don’t care eh?

  • so wheres the playstation video store for canada im gettin pretty ticked off here like what is this only for americans or what i would really like an answer im sick of the bs

  • so wheres the playstation video store for canada an answer would be nice???????/

  • Hey why are there no HD videos from the video store to purchase? Why on earth would a rent an HD video for $14.99? When for $5 more I can buy the Blu-ray?

Seriously I want to know if we will ever see HD Videos to purchase at a reasonable price?

  • so whats the deal with the ps video store in canada some answers would be nice

  • holy [DELETED] thats good demos!!!

  • Nice update! Keep em coming. By the way, where is my GT for the PSP? Im waitin…

  • Can’t wait to download Facebreaker.

  • Great Store update! Rock on! Also any word on the PSP game:

No Gravity: Plaqe of the Mind? That game looks sweet and it’s said to be out next month! Please confirm! I and many other gamers have been waiting for a hard core space combat sim for a long time!

  • Okay, I’m totally tired and just got the Soul Calibur IV Customization Equipment 1 but I haven’t noticed anything different since I downloaded it.

In fact, I don’t even see where this data got saved to. The description of what it gives you is so vague that I can’t check for specific items. Tried downloading it again and it just downloads and claims it’s installed immediately after download.

Am I supposed to unlock this stuff even after I paid for it? *raises and eyebrow*

  • @277

i think you have to have SCIII save data for it to work?

  • Is SSHD ever going to be on the PSN Summer Sale? Can we get more themes next week please

  • This comment is for Grace Chen,

I noticed now that snakeball in the psn was released in december, My question is how come i never had it until now, on this recent update was the first i saw of this game, it came up right next to Eden on the new releases menu, and it even has the release date on it as july 2008, whats the deal with that?

  • I liked the demo of Pixeljunk Eden very much, but hate the game now. I thought this game was suppose to be relaxing and fun, but all it does is annoy and frustrate the hell out of me. With a game with such a low responses why in earth did you have to put a time limit in it? Not only that but you also have enemies constantly going after you which makes it even more frustrating.

    I can’t really say I’m enjoying myself.

  • is SSHD Going to be on summer sale

  • no is not going to ever!

  • I’m organizing a PixelJunk Eden contest. Anyone interested in joining the competition to go PSLevel.com for details.

    Holla..

  • luvin eden wallpaper 1 miniroll.Game should be great also. Quit bashing Sony

  • I think this update was pointless, well except for facebreaker. we need big updates like Home or well that is about it the only big update we know is life with playstation or whatever and then thats it until Home arrives which could be never for all we know. all i am saying is dont get your hopes up, because sony may disappoint you again.

  • Game devil may cry is comming on PC
but…. the DMC on pc has a mode turbo…

we need turbo on ps3 too!

  • Capcom ACT game : devil may cry 4 on pc has a mode: turbo …

in turbo mode player can move and hit monster faster and cooler !! it is sweet!

i really hope turbo mode can comming on ps3!! i love it!

  • This was a good update!
keep up the good work ;)

  • I really wish that they would put in oddworld series cause I have been watchin videos and I really miss it.

  • I really wish that they would add oddworld to the psone classics in the playstation store cause that game is really cool.

  • This might be old news But I need help. I have the PS2 guitar hero games and the games load up just fine…But my Ps3 guitar won’t work with them. And as far as I know there is no adaptor that will allow me to use my PS2 guitar on the PS3. Can anyone please help.
