That’s some cool stats and all but i’m still wondering when this service will come to Canada, i really want to be able to rent HD movies.

Also is there movies that are 1080p?
And will we be able to buy HD movies in the future?

Sony staff would have to correct me if I am wrong but from what I understand it says it can only be downloaded on one activated system meaning your main one and can’t be downloaded to other playstations like PSN games can. I can’t say for sure if that is correct as I never read the user agreement but if you can only download purchased material once that is horrible and I say let the video store portion crumble. I can understand not other systems as the movie industry would consider that casual piracy.

Xam’d is a good anime, already rented both episodes along with punisher, I love that movie. Guess I’ll rent Hitman now and check it out. will we ever be able to purchase HD movies?

I’m not talking about sharing the videos. I’m talking about if for some reason my PS3 fails, how am I going to get my videos back? They’re not in the “Downloads List” in the video store so Sony obviously doesn’t want us downloading the videos 2 times.

Of course we would like that. Especially something like the most played games on the PSN, but let’s say the top 20 and not only the top 10 like major nelson does for xbox live.

What part of SCE is working on HOME. From my impressions of Kaz and jack they dont expect HOME to hit this year. The longer it takes the less excited people are going to be about it. I wish Phil was still here. He was a true gamer and i salute his vision of GAME. 3.0.

I think that if your going to show stats you should use LBP to do it. I mean once you see stats shown with LBP you can’t go back.

With that said I think its nice to see posts on the weekend.

p.s. you should consider showing things like percentage increases in sales with price drops of different games/movies.

i completly agree with u plus im in the same situation with my HDD, i have a 60 gig and have a few gigs left and i really want a new harddrive before thursdays store update so i cann purchase pain, and pixel junk monsters.Jeff do you think you can do a special blog post tomorrow on what brands are compatible etc?
