FFXIII is not 360 Exclusive. It was just announced that it will come to the Xbox 360 at the same time that the PS3 version is released only in North America and Europe. However, FFXIII is still PS3 Exclusive in Japan, when it’s released there and there is no Xbox 360 version planned for release there.

With that in mind, before the recent annoucment FFXIII was expected and at one point during PS3’s current life cycle that it will be a PS3 exclusive release along with MGS4. However, that all changed recently when that Square-Enix announced at Microsoft’s E3 2008 Press Conference that it was also coming to release same date when it is for the PS3 here in North America as well as Europe. Bear in mind, that MGS4 was never announced to be coming to the Xbox 360 and that it is currently a PS3 exclusive that has been recently released worldwide to critical acclaim.

In the end, i hope that clears up the confusion you may have had regarding FFXIII and i do agree with you and most of the comments that the PS3 needs to do a better job at getting and keeping exclusive games (I am still somewhat surprised, disappointed and even outraged by this recent announcement/development), franchises, DLC, add-ons, as well as continually improve their PSN Store and service, which they recently seem to be doing better at with the recent launch of the PSN Movie/TV store including content to boot as well as the recent 2.41 update that included trophies and In-Game XMB with partial functionally implemented that they promise to continually improve on soon in phases. Currently it’s in Phase 1 out of 3 phases, but i do agree that they need to speed up their development process and schedule to deliver these promises, content, and features soon to consumers like us before Microsoft continues to widen the gap further and further from the PS3 to the point where Sony can’t catch up at all in this current generation of consoles.

I better see a release of a game that supports trophies or some kind of update for them……..dammmmn im so tired of complaining about this

none of them include trophies….god sony few weeks after you release trophie software u already forgot about it and moved on….is this another thing like the ingame muisc? something we will never get to use unless third parties decide to or something…..shoot and they never do .

It’ll be cool for the next system update if you could change the start up of the PlayStation 3 and either select the classic ps1 start up or ps2 start up i mean’t if they do put it in the store

and for network if you could turn your status invisible so in case you want to have a private game sometime

SONY!!!! YOU BETTER ADVERTISE LIKE CRAZY FOR FFXIII!!!!! DONT LET IT ALL GO TO THE 360!!!

AND PLEASE TRY TO PUT A FFXIII TRAILER ON THE PS STORE!!!!!!!!! IT WILL HELP ALOT! AND SHOW THAT PLAYSTATION IS FF’S HOME!!!! PLEASE.

(btw they wont respond to us on this blog, because there are too many complaints for them to handle)

NO RPG THAT HAS EVER WENT ON THE 360 WENT OVER NEAR 1 MILLION COPIES SOLD.

LOST ODDESEY SOLD THE MOST TITLES AS AN RPG- 740K

SOME PEOPLE SAY THAT XBOX GAMERS DONT CARE ABOUT RPG’S.

i think some do, but im sure that the ps3 version of ffxiii will sell more.

Been on ps store this morning, where the hell is Elephunk, and the video store,,,this just sucks! how come the US get everything weeks before us in europe! I am begining to think that Sony just dont care about European gamers at all and considering that Europe Ps3 is outselling 360 you would think that they would look after us a bit better.

Why is the 360 always getting all the good stuff. We get shafted all the time. They have more upcoming titles, downloadable titles, better download speeds, and add on content. When will we see more oblivion add ons. 360 has them all. They have Soul Calibur for 10 bucks, when will we get it? The new final fantasy is 360 exclusive. The PS store needs good games like metal gear final fantasy 7. Not stupid games like that rubber ducky game.

really dissapointed with sony….crnt c good things happenin with their gaming industry. game developers dont utilise its full potential, makes me fink wts the point in having the more expensive console. wen xbox is cheaper and seems to care about its customers handing over exclusives…ff13 wt a joke!, the main reason why i brought my ps3 and all they give us is delays delays delays…sony needs to do something special!

how come no one is posting anymore? I guess they all went and traded their PS3s for 360s. I know i did!
