Not sure how many here look at this but can I make a suggestion for QORE?

In future episodes could it be possible to add subtitle support? Personally I am hard of hearing so it can be difficult at times when watching it. Hopefully Jeff or someone passes this along to the QORE team.

I’m sorry but I don’t understand how anyone can defend QORE. Just look at today’s update. No demos, no downloadble games, no PS1 games. Just the same old Rockband/Guitar Hero crap and videos. Basically, in order to actually get something out of this update, you have to pay for it. If QORE didn’t exist, the Naruto demo would’ve been out today, but now thanks to QORE, we are now paying for demos.

I can’t believe these whiners….saying not much of an update…..2.4 came out this week (sure it’s been held back for now due to some people having problems)…but I think it’s been a great week. I got 2.4 right after midnight and haven’t been able to stop playing with the PS3 since. Again…thank-you Sony and don’t listen to those whiners….most of us are really appreciative. You could probably give everything to the whiners that they ask for and they’d still be b*tchen they didn’t have enough.

Does Liverpool plan on giving us a heads up on Wipeout HD? I was really looking forward to this game, especially when I heard it had sixaxis functionality.

Also what happened to the Stardust HD update? I have 4.00 and I have my trophies, but I want that expansion so I can get crackin on that trophy.

Way I see it is everyone who got 2.4 is ganging up on everyone who didn’t get to download it at midnight. Would you all be this happy if you DIDN’T have the update right now? No I don’t think you would. I personally have the update but I can sympathize with everyone who didn’t get it instead of yelling at them for complaining, because I can understand their frustration.

I’ve got 2.4 and love it and do feel for the people that haven’t been able to download yet. But you know if Sony left up the download and you had a problem downloading it and maybe even having to reset your whole system….how happy would you be then ?
It will be here soon and I’m sure the guys at Sony are working 24/7 on the problem as they know everyone want.
Give it a bit of time and you’ll be happy your system is working and the 2.4 upgrade went smoothly instead of sc***ing up your system.

ya VC looks sweet, but that video has been available on IGN and other websites for some time. Though it does look pretty when played through my PS3 ^^.

Probably have to buy an issue of Qore though to see making of for that though ><. Just like I paid today for the Resistance 2 stuff and a few other things in it. Beginning to wonder if Qore was such a good idea. Guess I’ll find out after Qore installs and compare the other making of’s to it that I have from last year.

sho_winter….If you got the annual subscription…go the the Playstation store…go to Download list (at top of page) and it will be in your download list…Just download from there…I also thought I had to get it from the store…but Sony made it a bit easier, by already including it in our download list.

There are Trophies that are available as bonuses for those that pick up the Add-On pack(s), but even if you just have the base game, you’ll be able to work on those Trophies.

Ghostm, you do not need to purchase the add-on for trophy support but I must warn you that there are a couple of trophies linked to the add-ons.

luckily the majority of them are linked to the Full stand-alone game. :)

Ghostm….you don’t need the add on for trophy support….however….I would purchase the add on…I got them all and it just makes the game even better….the one that is inside the game itself that has been taken off (I think due to the 2.4 bug) is awesome….with that one you can change the look of your ship as well, plus it has a few other nice features.

Ghostm you need update 4.0 for SSHD for Trophys to work but unfortunately they pulled the update so until they put it back up no Trophys for you.

Well. not bad update, the only problem is that I think we need some PS1 games, if you guys really wanna make some money add some Classics, add stuff that people will really buy that way you get your profit..

anyways…

Qore is looking great, I think that if you guys add some exclusive wallpapers,pictures,themes,codes for betas,game addons that will really make the difference for people that feel its alot just for a demo.

tryp….since I’ve got the full version of Super Stardust HD I can’t tell you for sure…but I would give it a try….I put in another message that there’s a free download of this game and since it’s free, why not give it a try…Nothing to lose…Personally, I love the game and it can get really addicting….I was playing Normal mode, but read on another blog people should try easy mode to see how trophies work. Normal mode is pretty hard and you won’t believe some of the people’s scores from around the world…Another great feature that I like by the way.

before i say this i have an apology to give to sony. i just knew that we would have to wait a long time for 2.4 (well except 4 those whos ps3 got jacked up) but all in all sony actually delivered hmmm.

no ps1 games again, im starting think that region crap is bs. Hell I just looked on the xbox marketplace and they offer the original soulcaliber for download with better graphics and it originally came out for ps1. You telling me you guys cant get it right away but xbox is gettin it done b4 u

Can you guys do something about downloads? i was downloading core for 2 hours until i got some random error and got the download stoped and kicked outta the store, so now i have to start the DL all over again! Can you work on like a partial download things or something so when this happens the downloads don’t need to be restarted?

God damnit!!! Now that was a complete waste of my $11.00. I knew I should’ve just went to the movies tonight…who knows when they are going to put the 4.0 update back up? I was hopping to get some trophies tonight since I’ll be going out of town tomorrow. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

I do appreciate them taking quick action to deal with the FW 2.40 issues. That’s very responsible of them. Good luck with fixing the problems.

you should have gotten a psp when it first came out back in the hacking days. Playing old nes and snes games (instead of the crappy ps2 ports that came out and those half-a$$ed umd movies), but sure enough sony said screw u and came up with ways to stop that. So I traded it towards my xbox

how was it terrible? Aside from a download error during Qore my week has been just fine, downloaded 2.40 with no problems, i unlocked 15/17 Trophies in Stardust and i can’t wait to play the naruto demo in qore, keep your comments to urself

Many people didn’t get a chance to download 2.4 Then those who got the chance to get 2.4 and bought SSHD within last 24 hours to get Trophy’s aren’t able to because the update 4.0 that enables Trophy’s for it has been pulled as well. So just because its all good for you doesn’t meant its like that for everyone.

I’m wondering about your service provider/internet access ?

Mine took just a little over 30 mins…I have high speed DSL…..

Are you limited in your amount of downloads as well ?

This download is 1758 MB so it’s huge…remember this is HD you’re downloading and not regular standard.

After i had to restart the download its going at a decent speed, almost done after 30 mins or so, for some reason the first time was extremely slow. i also have high speed cable

I know that last month when the original Qore episode came out and the new content was over 24 hours late getting there, TONS of gamers complained on this blog. Although I hate to admit it, that ranting and raving did some good, as everything was on time today! Power to the people! You’ll get the horns when things go ary, but you should also get the praise when they go right. Thanks Gracie! Awesome job!

The GHIII song Top Gun Theme is that Danger Zone? I am downloading it right now so I will find out soon enough. Also the Killzone 2 video and damn a month has already gone by, I need to get my Qore sub. paid for now.

A good update I felt, nice to see a Killzone 2 trailer even if 75% of the trailer is the logo, hehe.

I’ll be checking out issue 2 of Qore. I hear there’s a R2 theme as well in there, nice.

I’m still going to have to get a shout out for PSone games, what’s the plan with these SCEA? Given up already? Seems like there is demand for them. Oh and PSN cards, what’s the deal with them too? I know it’s been a tough week for you guys with 2.4 and E3 around the corner, all the best.

Let’s hope for Wipeout HD in the next couple of weeks.

Jeff,
I received the email notifying me that Qore july was available. How hard would it be to have put the instructions for finding the download in that email? Instead i have to sift thru the forums or this blog.
Actually, i remembered that it was supposed to be in my download list so i immediately went to the playstation store and went to the download list.
AFAIK, the download list is sorted by most recent first, and it shows the 4 most recent downloads. Qore was not on that list. i even scrolled down a bit and still no Qore.
After seeing your answer to the “how do i get it” question i went back to the store and download list. still not there, just by chance i started scrolling thru the download list and lo and behold my july edition of Qore! Unfortunately for me the July edition of Qore shows up in my download list with the date of june 6th (same as june edition).
This was not a good experience for me as a customer and leaves me wondering what the heck is going on at Sony Entertainment and if this is a company that i want to spend my money with…

Good update. I decided to subscribe to Qore. Also, I am even more so pumped for Killzone after downloading the Gamers Day Trailer. Can’t wait for it!
