Take a tour of our Comic-Con Booth

Posted by Jeff Rubenstein // Social Media Manager

I have to admit: my first Comic-Con International (this one) is not what I expected. While it’s got everything you’d expect – cosplayers, “limited edition” everything, and, yes, comics – there’s really a lot more. I’d venture to say, even if you’re into videogames and couldn’t care less about comics – this is still the place for you.

As we indicated yesterday, the PlayStation area is where the public gets hands-on access to our upcoming games – many for the first time. Because I know that many of you can’t make it down to San Diego this week/weekend, and because tickets have become rather hard to acquire, I shot this booth tour during yesterday’s “Preview Night.”

Sorry for the “but wait, there’s more!”-style, but if you can make it, we’d love to have you drop by.

BTW, here’s that Sweepstakes URL referenced in the video: http://www.us.playstation.com/ep/promotions/321/?ILC-psblog&PRMO=comicconsweeps08

Even if you can’t make it, you can still try to win a free PS3!

More from Comic-Con tomorrow!

oh yeah!!!!!!

JEFF!!!!

PLEASE MAN!

Post some pics of the best and goofiest cosplayers so we can have a good chuckle!

thanks for the vid- Looks like you were keeping the masses entertained! i bet they were surprised and stoked to see you guys there!

kinda jealous they got to try the new motorstorm and street fighter 4…i could only make out bits through the vent i was hiding behind..

So if the new Motorstorm has a playable demo for kiosks, where’s the love for PSN?

Maybe they wanna release it closer to the release date, but i’m jonesing for some destructible auto mayhem in the jungle!

on the comics side again, too bad about the decision to make watchmen into a game…hopefully i am proven wrong and it will be a great game!

time to wash all this fiberglass and spiderwebs off my sneaking suit. (t shirt, khakis, and flip-flops……*stealth* flip-flops)

Ha! That’s some pretty cool stuff (and maybe just a bit funny).

It’s hard to believe MGS4 looks that good, but then I turn on my PS3 and I’m like: “Oh, that’s right.” XD

Thanks, Jeff! :D

LMAO you’ve gotta be kidding me…There’s a SLIGHT chance I might be in the San Diego area this weekend, I’ll definitely have to see if I can get in. Not for the comics, because I don’t really care for them (The last one I ever read was a Sonic the Hedgehog one), but for LittleBigPlanet and some other PS3/PSP games!!!

Hi Jeff

Can you video the BLUE PSP again and show us the back? I like to know if something printed behind it other than PSP. It would be nice no MADDEN or any football image on the back.

THanks.

There is no image on the back. It’s like the silver PSP… only rich, delicious blue.

Cool vid Jeff. Wish I’d made it to try all the Sony games and for those Patapon magnets.

I guess you’ll be at SDCC all weekend long. I keep checking the blog for your details on Elefunk Trophy support. Hopefully you give us details on that some time next week.

Should get some video of people playing little big planet Jeff. Be cool to see how many people get the hang of it right away or those that need guidance.
