I live in one of the biggest countries in the world and we don’t get movie downloads from the PSN?
Common Sony CANADA wants movies downloads!!

Canada is 36th in world population representing .5% of the total. Not exactly ‘one of the biggest’
Name ONE or ANY US based video service that has come to Canada with a equal launch window. Apple? Live? Zune Marketplace? Vudo? Netflix? Hulu? …. NONE of them have made it or those that have pale in comparison to their US counterpart.
Canada has 1. different distributors 2. Ratings boards in most if not all provinces that must be dealt with. 3. Its 2nd most populous Province has draconian laws regarding language etc etc etc.
Sony has said it will come and it will … but I’d gather not for at least a year.

hey…is there any way we can get some movies like Casino, Goodfellas, Showgirls (my girlfriend loves the movie…don’t ask me why :| ) on the PSN store? also…some more recent Disney movies (i know they’re really particular about how their movies are handled and when they’re sold)
other than that there’s a really good selection. keep bring more new stuff and adding classics here and there. i have an 8GB card in my PSP i’m trying to fill and 320GB in my PS3 so bring it on. lol.

Will Xam’d ever be available for anything besides rental? It’s just too expensive to rent an anime episode for $4.
Maybe you could at least make episode 1 free so we can all get a taste of it.

Canada is one of the biggest country in territory after russia, i think thats what he meant…
The rating board is all the same in all provinces.
But yes we have laws concerning our language, that might be what is causing this late release

Can anyone at SCEA officially announce that the PSN Video Store is coming to Canada? I hope Sony doesn’t release this a year from now like Microsoft did…
I have money, I want to buy content, make it happen.

Im from Mexico and i bought a PS3 in the SONYSTYLE website and when i try to create a PSN ID… there is no Mexico option, ok so i have to try a U.S. address ,now i got my PSN ID, the think is…. i cant get access to the Video Store.. WHY ? cus i dont live in U.S.? if thats the problem when the Mexican ppl should be able to access to the Video Store.
at least can i buy games and addons even if my address is is not the right one ?

the tv shows section should have hbo.. if you guys had shows like deadwood, the wire, sopranos, and carnivale id be buying episodes all the time

Hey you guys, I was just wondering, is there a way now or maybe in the future where we can reguest certain TV shows or movies and you guys see if you can get them or not?
