Since the introduction of movie & TV shows on the PLAYSTATION Store, we’ve added hundreds of new pieces of video content for purchase and rental. As new items are not tied to the weekly PLAYSTATION Store updates, we’ve chosen this time slot to let you know what’s new so you can make a more informed choice for weekend entertainment.
This week we’ve added new video content from the following television series:
- Everest: Beyond the Limit
- Family Guy
- Gene Simmons: Family Jewels
- How I Met Your Mother
- It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia
- LA Ink
- Land Of The Giants
- Miami Ink
- My Name is Earl
- Mythbusters
- Prison Break
- The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack
- Trinity Blood
- Weaponology
- Xam’d: Lost Memories (There’s a brand new episode every Tuesday!)
As well as the following feature films:
- Fool’s Gold
- King Arthur
- Reign of Fire
- Stay Alive
- The Eye
- The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep
- Unforgiven
And since many of you seemed to enjoy reading what everyone else is watching, here are our top 20 movie and TV downloads for the week:

Have a great weekend!

It seems that when you email out a survey (with a contest involved), you are able to filter out and exclude Canadian consumers… so why is it not possible to send out PSN store updates to Canadians that don’t include the new Movie and TV shows available… that we can’t buy.
Alternatively… can you at least acknowledge us, that we exist, that we matter in some minuscule way by simply adding in the line “PSN Store Movies and TV content is not available in Canada at this time”.
… if you ignore us and stick a big bag over your head and pretend that “North America” is “United States of America” we’ll still be here. We’re not going anywhere. We’re just asking for some form of acknowledgment when you make announcements or send us emails.
(… and by the way, most Canadians would have gladly given feedback in your survey without the need to enter the contest. Rather than exclude us, why not send us out the survey without the contest?)

Oh well. I guess we europeans have to resort to piracy as usual to get any video online…
Wouldn’t it be in EVERYBODY’S interest to introduce some legal movie services in Europe…?

I agree with Post #112. Also, there has to be a away for people to transfer there backup data of games (i.e. demos) if they get say new console instead of re-downloading every item from the PSN store. Hmmm?

Curious about any internal Q/A “feedback” mechanism on PSN Video/TV show rentals … My first experiment was pretty negative (23+ hrs for 1 movie) and cust. svc. was indifferent / hostile.
Is there any way to verify that download service is improving? I jumped in right away, but not interested in trying again too soon unless I read other positive feedback from some source … (I keep looking, things are curiously quiet)
