I can’t wait for Home to come out i’ve been following its progress since it was first announced, I really hope I get a chance at the Beta i’m sure Home is gonna be the new myspace for PS3 users :)

Perhaps I missed this somewhere; but how do you know if you’ve been selected to participate in this Beta test? I’m currently doing R&D for other “VR” or Virtual World applications like this and would love to be a part of it. Lucky me, I happened to see the Home theme yesterday and downloaded it when I was testing numerous wireless ap/bridges. Thanks in advance.

Wonderful news.
I am so glad I finally got my PS3! I waited for the MGS4 bundle since I already have a 360 and my son has a Wii.
So far the PS3 is my favorite system and this is an exciting time to be an owner.
Hearken back to the days of Zorlac and “skate tough or go (playstation) HOME”!

Sounds awesome, however I’m weary about the “loyalty” part when it comes to testing out beta’s. Never have been able to test one, console or PC, and yet I’ve had a Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, all registered consoles with Sony, not counting the over 1000 Work Units folded on the Playstation 3 over the Playstation Network. Wouldn’t this could as a lot of “activity?”

Speaking of F@H; they should make that a “screensaver” and have it configurable so you can set it to automatically come on if your system is sitting at the main screen for “X” minutes. (Off topic, I know; but just a thought)

so I play warhawk just about every day or every other day since launch and I check the ps store every day and download all the trailers i can watch plus several games and demos. Does this mean i will probly get in since i downloaded the home theme?

I have spent so much money on the PSN network..I got my friend to buy a PS3- I am pretty much a Sony evangelist. I have a Sony A700 camera, Sony lenses, Sony EX1 video camera.please grant my one wish….HOME BETA!!!!!!

Zeke, you sign up by downloading the Playstation Home theme from the Playstation Network store. You don’t have to do anything else. Downloading the theme automatically submits your request. However, space is limited.

Can you give us an idea of what kinds of things that would be taken into account that they’re looking for regarding eligibility? Online activity is pretty vague and could mean alot of things at least to me it does. Like I’m not sure if you’re talking about how much time you spend folding or how much time you have downloaded demos and whatnot or how long you have spent in Qore or how many hours you’ve logged on a certain game… I’m pretty confused by that. Could you clear this up for me please?

Perhaps. I guess it would be nice to know for “future reference”; but I don’t see anyone changing any PS3 habits they are alreay doing for something they don’t know about in the future.

Omg…this is the best news I’ve gotten all day! >.<
I’ve been waiting for the Home Beta since I first got my PS3 (almost a year ago). I tried to aply efore but I was too late and they had already stopped recieving applicants. Then I tried again with the whole “colorize” (I think that’s what it was) thing. I waited for the buzzer to reach zero only to see the website say “FAIL” ; ;.
Hopefully I’ll get in the beta though, seeing as how I’m always online on my PS3… That would be a great birthday present along with my new psp =D
Thanks for giving us faithful Home fanboys (only term I could think of) another chance to get in! =D

This is gonna be a bit off topic but I am wondering. Why is it when I try to play Chrono Cross the game constantly freezes on my PS3. I borrowed my brother’s PS2 and played the game through just fine. Is it a compatibility issue? 60G PS3. I am so sorry to bother you with this but I am curious. I was just wondering what you think is a dedicated user because I just got my ps3 about a month ago and im wondering if that would put me in a lower position to get an invite. Do you need G.A.P. membership?

Because I have two sns. JCJAR is more used on PSN but with no G.A.P. membership, but sanitysESCAPE (less used) is linked to my PSU account with G.A.P. membership.
