I'm enjoying the Life with Playstation feature, but it does need improvement in a couple areas. As others have mentioned, a more comprehensive coverage of weather would be nice.

Also, please please please have a way to enlarge the webcam feeds. Looking at them in the present squint-o-vision, postage-stamp size is largely pointless, as we cannot tell what we are looking at, for the most part. You may as well just put a generic still picture in that shot for each city, as it stands. I love that the webcam feature is there, but I'd love it even more if it were more visually legible. :)

i was really lokking forward to life with playstation but when i started it up i was unimpressed....the wiis weather channel and news channel blow life with playstation out the water! life with playstation only displays the current temperature and not a whole forcast which renders it useless (if you check it in the morning and you see the temperature it is highly likely that that temperature with change throughout the course of the day and you can't see is the weather will change during the day.....there are no options to add cities or delete cities to create a globe that you want which is terrible......also when you try to access the news stories its a bad internet based interface powered by google?....come one, google? we can look up those stories anytime from google.....overall this channel is terribly un-custimizable and its very locked....even when you open a news story you can't read the bloody thing because the words are too small....and guess what....theres no zoom function....if the web browser has a zoom function why cant a bloody news page have one? this was susposed help me with getting weather forcasts and news stories with easy and convienant use. You should learn something from the guys at Nintendo on how to make a proper tool like this one...check out nintendos offering....its easier, better, looking, more convienant and it doesnt always freeze and lock up the system like life with playstation does to my ps3!!! I couldnt even imagine what life with playstation would have been with it if it was not held back.....but its still a clearly unpolished application. I really expected better.

Epic fail Sony! The feature is almost worthless and even Nintendo did better with the Wii.

Weather without any forcast? Live pictures that aren´t live? Come on!

If this is life with PS3 then don´t count me in!

Anyone else think that Life with Playstation is an epoch phail?

It's not as good as I thought it was going to be.

No local weather or any local information.
Life with Playstation is with The Weather Channel, shouldn't you have better weather than just a few cities?

I have been using Life with Playstation with my plasma TV and, even though the graphics area breath-taking, the text is extremely difficult to read. The same goes for the browser experience in general when one decides to surf the web, but that's a whole other subject. The point is: I live in Tallahassee, Florida. The nearest city you have info about is Miami... are you kidding me?
Oh, and by the way, I'm Mexican. How about adding ONE city from Mexico at least?

Also, how about some live video that could be played full-screen? Even the live webcams would be nice, instead of showing them in the mini squares, how about the chance to see them a little bigger?

This is a nice start, and it has a lot of potential, but now I understand why you delayed it so much. Guys, you need to add content, content, content.

Wouldn't it be awesome that we could have some function like google reader? So you can get the feeds that you want and the news that you are interested in only?

But seriously, if you are going to offer news in text format, at least make it READABLE.

Sorry, I didn't read all 400 comments so I apologize if this has already been said.

I believe I have one valid point - you shouldn't force us to donate bandwidth to Stanford U in order to interact with playstation at home. Although it's a worthy cause, it should be our choice to do so and not have it a requirement to acccess this program.

i love the new application, but i would really appreciate it if i could see revert back to seeing the progress my ps3 has made and see the protein...the new graphics are sweet, i would just like an options tab so i can see the protein every-once-in-a-while. thanks.
