Question though… I thought there was supposed to be some way to preview the Paid Themes. I don’t want to buy any unless I know exactly what I’m getting. Please and thanks.

Are PS1 classics over with? I dug them but have they been officially abandoned? It seems like there hasn’t been one in a while.

Also would it ever be possible to allow psp downloads to be playable on the PS3?

Talk to me about the echochrome pack. Are these new unique stages, or will I have already solved them on the PS3?

You buy Qore and you get a few ads, you buy a Magazine you flip through pages of ads. What’s the difference? You buy a DVD you get previews, you pay to go to a movie, you get previews. All can be skipped if you want.

Is there really no way to get new issues of Qore to appear at the top of my downloads queue instead of back with the stuff I got in June? I already have to scroll through 57 items to find the new issue, and it’s really annoying.

Three questions:

1. When is part 6 of the Dead Space animated comic going to appear on PSN? It’s already on GameTrailers dot com.

2. When will a demo of Valkyria Chronicles be available? I read that Europe got the demo today.

3. I can’t wait to download Linger in Shadows! (I guess that’s not a question.)

paid themes? Sony, are you serious? Having themes & wallpapers as free downloads is what sets PLAYSTATION Network apart from the pay-for-everything Xbox Live!. If you’re gonna ask gamers to pay for themes, have trophies be used as currency for the PLAYSTATION Store.

@SCEA
Update your servers for faster download speeds. I’m only downloading about 100-150kbs(wired connection!). I can get 1.3-1.6mbs from downloading things on my pc and that other console. Why doesn’t the ps3 have a low power state for downloading? and why do only some games support background downloading,gt5 prologue, wipeout hd, little big planet beta, burnout paradise don’t to name a few. A suggestion is to allow qore annual subscribers faster download speeds or to invest in more servers.

There’s nothing to worry about now from paid themes. Just give it a little time and check internet sites that host free ps3 themes. I’m sure premium themes will end up on those sites for free.

I’m hoping that the launch of the wifi store will open the floodgates on PS1 downloads?

$15 seems a little much for SARPBC in my books given that WipEout was $20…jmho but the developer may wish to go with the volume volume volume sales rather than a price that high…we’ll see though.

I was going to buy my first issue of Qore for VC but I hear it is on the UK PSN so i’ll mosey over there instead.

Great to finally see a Warhawk demo. Thanks Dylan! I have like 52% of trophies, I need to break this out on the down week once LBP beta ends and the game is released. Maybe my brother and friends will finally see what I’m talking about when I say Warhawk is awesome. I say the top 3 online games to date so far for PS3 are R:FOM, Warhawk, and COD4. No particular order.

BTW, University of Georgia theme installed. GO DAWGS!!! SIC ‘EM!!! WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! BEAT TENNESSEE!

Ohio State will get a theme when they can beat a SEC team.

I don’t mind paying for Disruptive Media or smobile themes, but I definitely won’t pay a dime for a Bioshock theme, especially considering the sub-par port they expect us to pay 60 bucks for. It’s my opinion that game related themes should always remain free. They’re really nothing more than advertisements and game developers should provide them as a courtesy to their fans if they want to. Charging for them is an insult to their fans. In contrast, themes about sexy beach babes are outside of the gaming realm and their pricetags are justified by their aesthetic quality.

In addition, I will also be passing on the megaman9 addons. Isn’t the only real point of those being able to collect all of the skill points? Since we don’t get rewarded with trophies, what’s the purpose of collecting those skill points anyway? (besides, they’re insanely difficult to collect) Sorry capcom, next time provide some incentives to buy your updates.

I am suprised that Dead Space already has a paid DLC and a free DLC when it doesn’t come out till Tuesday. I think its stupid though that the companies release DLC before the game even comes out and I would never support that.

As for paid themes I disagree with that too because it reminds me of another rival company which I won’t name.

I also think its horrible that we in North America must purchase Qore to get the “EXCLUSIVE” Valkaryia Chronicles demo which has yet to be announced when its free. And those people in Europe get the game for free which I am glad. Sony honestly people have ways to access these things.

In regards to Mega Man 9 and being “oh so retro” Capcom FAILS! Back in 1987 or whatever year there wasn’t a downloadable content stuff. You got what you got in the box and that was all. Trying to nickle and dime people is just sad. I will not be supporting Capcom and only purchased Mega Man 9.

That game thats artistic (sorry forgot the name) I will look into.
