Got the 2.50 update in the wee hours of the 14th. Glad it wasn’t that that did this. Been having issues with Comcast anyways since service was upgraded.

Hopefully the downtime isn’t too long, but I understand the need for fixes and beef ups.

This probably has something too do with the Farcry 2 Home update, aswell as the Resistance 2 beta’s going out today. We shall see. Maybe they just want too upgrade the servers? well find out soon enough!

Yeah but the sad thing is I was just about to go on PSN with my PSP and download some demos, as well as download a few game trailers as well. Sadly thats no longer the case, and with the PC store currently under maintance and even the PS3 verion of the store being down alot of people are unhappy right now.

IMHO I think it was not a hack but due to the fact they launched the new PSN PSP service in the US, Japan, and EU all at the same time thus a crap load of new people flooded the store, and the online sceene for PSN. It’s good to see they took note that half the pages on the store were not loading up their pictures, and whats more half the content on the PC store was not even up for the PSP Version: IE the video part, as well as the many more game videos for the PSP, and PS3, and all the how toos were not placed up as well.

I hope this matenance also effects the PSP website for the PSP system as it’s in dire need of an overhaul just so it looks better, and runs smoother as of a few months ago it’s been so slow it’s not even funny.
