haskell  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:44 pm

Hi Grace!
Hi Grace,
I am sorry to say, but I have a HUMONGOUS complaint. And it is in regards to the “Premium Themes”
My question AND problem is, you do NOT have the University of Florida Gators as a premium theme.
When you debuted those 2 weeks ago, I immediately sent in a camplaint about this. They are the number #1 Univ. for both Basketball and Football. They even won, the 1st time in the HISTORY of college athletics to have both sports win both the National Championships in Footall AND the NCAA Mens Basketball Champions.
You have Florida State, Miama, Auburn, gGeorgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, but NO Florida Gators!!

So why is it we do not have a U. of Florida Gators Logo????

107

bazelgolem  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:45 pm

We need to be able to preview the premium themes before we have to pay for them.

108

haskell  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:46 pm

Sorry, I hit SUbmit too fast.. the comment was supposed to read:

They even won, the 1st time in the HISTORY of college athletics to have both sports win both the National Championships in Footall AND the NCAA Mens Basketball Champions in the SAME YEAR!!

Sorry about that..lol
But please, please let us Gator faithful know what eh hold up is,
Thanks,
Haskell

erdie  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:46 pm

Nice update! I’ll check some things out eventually, but I’m already a bit preoccupied. It’s R2 beta time!

110

Valkysas  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:47 pm

@107, you can. there’s a preview button in the listings. at least for the megaman ones. I never bothered looking at the others.

and I still cannot download the theme i purchased. YAY SONY.

111

bazelgolem  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:50 pm

@110, well that is just awesome I tell ya!

112

Eoyote  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:50 pm

You’re charging for themes now? Why would you copy one of the more idiotic things Microsoft has been doing with their 360?

Talk about nickel and diming.

113

NewYork214  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:57 pm

@112 Eoyote

not all themes cost money. i think it the ones that cost money are made by some advertising company and not by Sony. or something like that.

114

desithrilla93  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 5:59 pm

Is home still on track?
is tomorrow the day of the open beta? (1024)

115

thesalms  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 6:00 pm

I’m having the same problem as users 101 and 102 with the “80029567″ error when downloading megaman premium themes. HELP!

116

desithrilla93  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 6:00 pm

120

bond2009  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 6:33 pm

Hey Grace how come there is no PSP content for us PSP users?

121

Kilo720  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 7:04 pm

nice update but what happen with the psp update

122

SantanaClaus89  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 7:13 pm

Can you guys PLEASE fix the Mega Man 9 themes so that people who paid for them can actually DOWNLOAD them?!

123

shooter0784  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 7:34 pm

could we have an option to remove the demos and themes that are constantly being added to the download list in account management

i mean i have like 150+ purchases in the store but i now have 320 items in the list because of random demos and themes

i mean just a simple delete multiple option would be nice or just having demos and themes download right to xmb without goin to the list would be awesome too

124

shooter0784  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 7:35 pm

isnt psp store under maintenance or whatever till the 24th ? or being redesigned? i cant remember

125

shooter0784  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 7:37 pm

PlayStation®Store (PC version) is being redesigned. Service is scheduled to resume in late October 2008.

this is what it says at store.playstation.com but idk if thier givin content via ps3 store

126

DarkPlanet  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 7:54 pm

Yay! Valkyria Chronicles Demo!

127

crystalx3d  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 8:03 pm

@74 fritoz
I think firmware 2.5 has some sort of restore function in case something goes wrong. You have to turn on the ps3 with the button that’s on the system and hold down that button for 5 or 6 seconds as it’s starting up. Have you tried doing this yet?

128

Nirvana23  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 8:14 pm

Where’s Soldner-X? I guess I can handle not having that since I wasn’t expecting to get POP Classic, plus I’ll be busy next week with LittleBigPlanet and Fallout 3, and plus I’m still playing Dead Space. Thanks for keeping the great updates and games rolling!

129

cywulf21  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 8:39 pm

Another week, no soldner x.
And when are we getting more info on Fat Princess and Crash Commandoes?

130

kspraydad  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 8:52 pm

I’m really not sure why we bother posting in Grace’s entries…it is useless to expect ANY response.

My dog has lived for another week (I’ll eat him if Grace ever answers)

131

tretle  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 8:54 pm

Good update, European one wasn’t too bad either, lol, up till 5am trying to unlock some more trophies for Wipeout HD go up to my room to try and get some sleep, check my mail to see that I got into the resistance 2 beta and also that Rockstar are releasing a trophy patch for GTA IV on Monday… Perfect timing with the midterm from college starting today :)
So much things to do with the ps3 this week so little time :)

132

Valkysas  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 9:09 pm

135

Shinogu  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 9:21 pm

The freakin’ Themes aren’t downloading in the first place. Hence the frustration. they’re on our queue, but for some reason it’s not going through.

136

thingg  |  October 23rd, 2008 at 9:52 pm

139

ROLO_ONFIRE  |  October 24th, 2008 at 6:46 am

5 bucks for Yoda? no way, at least we got the best character (vader) so there’s no need to buy this expensive extra.

Great update with the Nirvana pack and PoP

140

StalkingSilence  |  October 24th, 2008 at 7:00 am

Jeff,
Could we get a blog post from the Buzz! guys regarding what kind of content we’ll be seeing over the next few months? Or just any kind of update from them?

141

Seanscythe2  |  October 24th, 2008 at 7:07 am

When do we get the Comedy Trivia that Europe got?

142

afrosheen  |  October 24th, 2008 at 7:19 am

@fritoz: Instead of whinespam, try calling Sony instead. There’s nothing anyone can do for you on a BLOG. It’s annoying frankly.

Oh and nice update, been waiting for the Valkyria demo for awhile.

143

zeke2040  |  October 24th, 2008 at 7:43 am

yahoo the store rocks… thanks for the penny arcadia, and the additional contents as well.. and any DLC for bioshock soon?

144

FritoZ  |  October 24th, 2008 at 8:36 am

@afrosheen-

THIS IS AN OFFICIAL SONY BLOG, so yes our issues are seen (but often not addressed)

I HAVE called SONY- i once again have to send my PS3 in…

hundreds and hundreds of people are having these problems at the forums, and

NO ONE OFFICIAL WILL SAY ANYTHING!!!!

So i am letting Sony know so they don’t think they can just forget about it, fw v2.5 HAS ISSUES!!

I’ve been posting here since the blog started, and have invested over $1200 on my PS3 including games and controllers..

SO IT’S ANNOYING FOR ME WHEN SONY DOESN’T ADDRESS IT’S OWN CUSTOMERS ISSUES..

btw, we all have the right to speak here, even you-

so i won’t bring up how i really don’t give a S#$#$% what you think.

>(

145

MidnightBlues  |  October 24th, 2008 at 8:46 am

What in gods name is wrong with you sony? Why would you have a part 1 of its Always Sunny in Philidelphia episode and not also have part 2 available? this is the most tacky thing I have ever heard of….wow great way to leave me hanging and also miss out on my money.

This is just lame, if you have part 1 of a 2 parter you better include part 2….man this made me mad…please update the store and fix this problem!!

146

MrCamo  |  October 24th, 2008 at 8:52 am

I like the Mega Man content, not much else for me in this one. I am sure that many people are stoked on much of this though. Good update with mass content.

147

MidnightBlues  |  October 24th, 2008 at 8:52 am

And I dont mean just ignore me and let it slide…I mean for real do what needs to be done and make this happen today…I will be soooo disapointed if you update the video store today and manage to leave this out….

Season 4: its always sunny in philidelphia: Episode 5: Mac and Charlie Die pt 1.

NO PART 2 WHAT THE [DELETED]!?

148

MrCamo  |  October 24th, 2008 at 8:54 am

As far as the VIdeo portion:

Please allow us to purchase a full season of a show as a package!! I would have downloaded a few seasons but it is so painful to shell out $$ for each episode and terribly monotonous to download each one individiually. I will not purchase any TV show content until the shows are available in a package download. You do not even need to give a price break, just make it easy.

149

Valkysas  |  October 24th, 2008 at 9:24 am

@afrosheen – Whinespam? Telling people to CALL sony? Have you ever tried it? have you tried it recently? like, in the past year?

It’s no longer possible to talk to a human. it’s an automated system that in addition to giving very limited options, constantly makes you sit through “very important” Gran Turismo 5 Prologue advertisements. Both the number listed in the manual and the number given on the playstation store lead to that useless automated robo-[DELETED].

150

Trieloth  |  October 24th, 2008 at 9:59 am

Ooops I forgot there was a update yesterday, lol. Been to busy play’n LBP and unlocking all the goodies. I guess I will check the PSN store when I get home after work, as long as I can resist that cute little sackboy…
p.s. Iam suprized at all the cry babies latey here at the blog. I dont know why there being so rude.
