My fellow Americans,
It’s me … SackBoy! Now that you can go pickup LittleBigPlanet in your local retailer, I can take on other matters that are important to me other than playing, creating and sharing! So I wanted to take this opportunity to bring your attention to a worthwhile cause.
Well, as you know it’s election season here and it’s not all about Democrats and Republicans. There are bigger issues going on and I need YOU to get involved!
Back in 2006, the International Astronomical Union declassified Pluto, our solar system’s littlest big planet, from a real planet to a dwarf planet. This is a travesty and we must stand together to bring Pluto back to the solar system as the LittleBigPlanet. So join me, SackBoy, in helping to get enough signatures to get Pluto back into the solar system!
I have made a campaign advertisement that I want you to watch and share with your friends. Afterwards, log onto my campaign page and sign up so I can keep you updated on the campaign!
You can also find me on Twitter and on FaceBook — if you join our group, we’ll gift you bumper stickers and buttons to share with your friends!
So thank you for your time!
My name is SackBoy … and I approved this message!

Remember when Crash Bandicoot used to attack Nintendo back a few years ago.I’m just saying that Sackboy could lead the new charge with some attack ads on the competition.

The idea of Pluto not being a planet because of its size is only one part of the problem; astronomers thought its orbit not going around the Sun perfectly was another argument- however, no planet makes a perfect ellipse when rotating around a star, due to other gravitational pulls in the universe. Heck, even without any other bodies in the universe to manipulate planets’ orbit, the planets don’t even travel in a straight line, it’s more like they travel in waves.

OUTSTANDING!!!111!!!!Uno
I first saw this a while ago on Sam_Protagonist signature over at the PSU’s LittleBigPlanet board. Very interesting, very creative, very Sackboyish ^_^
Sackboy gets my vote no doubt ~_^

What about Ceres or Eris? Eris is bigger than Pluto if I’m not mistaken. I’m down for renewing its planet membership but what about the other 50 suspected dwarf planets?

Let’s talk about the size of your delay, shall we Sackboy?
Let’s talk about the size of your *censored* content.
Two lines, one line. It doesn’t matter.
*Censored* content is *unacceptable*.

I love you Sackboy and I am going to join your campaign because you are so cute.
BUT I am going to have to disagree with you that Pluto is a Planet. It is important to realize that as we learn more about our solar system and how it works, new findings come into light that show us how to correctly categorize astronomical beings. Just last year I would have called you a hacky sack and circled kicked you among friends. Now that I know more about you I call you SackBoy and help you get through life.
Pluto is a dwarf planet and the new generation of children should learn that.
(I cannot believe I am talking to a Sackboy. Media Molecule this was the wrong campaign.)

Funny, but the wrong cause. Might as well demand that creationism be taught in school or that flat-earthers’ opinion be respected and not ridiculed.
Oh wait, that’s America, right? Never mind. :)

SAVE PLUTO! NO MORE SIZE DISCRIMINATION
44
killerbread1 | October 31st, 2008 at 5:58 pm
100% you are all roung
oh please its not all about the size just read all of this http://www.universetoday.com/2008/04/10/why-pluto-is-no-longer-a-planet/ it will make scence after that so please just give up now and pluto was no longer a planet because of …
It needs to be in orbit around the Sun – Yes, so maybe Pluto is a planet.
It needs to have enough gravity to pull itself into a spherical shape – Pluto…check
It needs to have “cleared the neighborhood” of its orbit – Uh oh. Here’s the rule breaker. According to this, Pluto is not a planet.
and sorry for spelling im just so tired
45
Pathard | October 31st, 2008 at 6:00 pm
I signed. I hope Pulto does become a planet once more. It seems stupid to have removed it from the planetary listings.
46
killerbread1 | October 31st, 2008 at 6:02 pm
READ – this is why it is not a planet.
its not about the size

@45
Correct me if I’m wrong, but has Neptune cleared its neighborhood? Pluto cuts in front of it once during its orbit.
So would Neptune be classified as a planet anymore?

killerbread1 | October 31st, 2008 at 6:27 pm
