  • THank you!!!

Very happy I decided to buy the Qore annual subscription when it first launched!!!

  • home will come keith k , i been on the beta for about 15 weeks and met people there who been on home for a year . it will not come in nov maybe late dec or mid jan 2009 . plus i do0nt have alot of time to stay on home alot because of socom, LBP, R2 its just to many games to play and not alot of time in the day and sony see this , trust me its ready .

  • yeah i love Qore, Qore! Qore! Qore, !..lol i guess you get the point.. i love getting this stuff..

  • AHHHHH When is home going to come out!

  • Well, I’ll admit I’m one of the people who signed up for Qore simply because I heard Home would be included with episode 6. I also had been reading about other betas being given out to subscribers, so I decided to get the annual subscription with the hopes that more betas will be given out in the future. What a stroke of luck that turned out to be! :)

After getting Qore though, I was quite impressed. It was much better than I expected and not just a rehash of information I could already get elsewhere. If anyone is on the fence about whether or not to subscribe then trust me it’s worth it!

Regarding Killzone 2 Beta, several keys went out yesterday and I received one of them. My advice is to keep your Underground account up to date and maybe create a few meaningful posts over in the Killzone 2 forum.

  • i donwnloaded the theme the moment it came out and still homeless

  • So when is qore goin to be released as im dyin to took a look at the tour of home, hopefully get a code :)

  • So based on the response by Kevin Furuichi, does this mean I wont nessicarily get my beta invite today? does it matter how long ive been a qore member? subscribed the first day. i hope i get the email today

  • :/ 1:39 PM Central and no PSN update. Also no Qore. Also no key has arrived for me yet. This makes me sad in the face. The PSN guys have been pretty slow about updates lately. Last week it didn’t even show till Friday. Hope it arrives soon.

  • Does anyone know when the store is gonna get updated cause im bored and need entertainin!

  • I can not believe I just got in to home

  • im prob gonna be the 1 without a code :(

im an annual subscriber! altho its on my other account.

altho cant wait for this qore cus i wanna see wat the tour of home is like!!

  • Kevin,

I don’t know that you guys read this low down the comment list or not, but I have a quick question and comment.

I am uber pleased with Qore and all of the betas and downloadable content it provides. I was wondering if before my subscription is up you guys will drop me a quick email to let me know to resubscribe. I have been in from nearly day one and wouldn’t want to miss any goodness because I forgot to reorder.

Also some kind of LBP exclusive Qore content would be awesome. Veronica Belmont sackgirl or some such thing. Just an idea.

  • This sucks. I subscribed to Qore on the weekend and was looking forward to this :(

    Bad news for me.

  • My brother who is 19 years old bought Qore Annual Subscription since it released and he thinks he was invited to Home Close Beta, but he had a wrong e-mail address?

    What can he do?

  • I have a question, what if were already in Home and have the annual qore subscription?

  • @ fallen_guardian – then you have both! LOL

    peace,
    Lh

  • I think Microsoft set a slightly better example on how to conduct beta testing invites. Let people that are truly interested sign up and get into the beta and leave the rest for the public release.

From what I’ve gathered, the Home Beta Theme download idea had to be the worst PR gaff in existence. Sony couldn’t stick to a sign-up site? Were they trying to pull unknowing, normal folk that don’t follow PS news to try it out or is it just THAT bad.
Anyways, it shows a lack of competency on the part of Sony’s management, the lack of dedication Sony has to its fans (the PS Blog, is frankly, BS… and by BS, I mean, it totally lacks any personality or substance in what they write), and the lack of confidence Sony has in their brand. If it’s really THIS close to release, and Sony won’t mutter a press release other than they’ve canned entry for non-subscribers and keep adding bits about Home as a footnote to a few of their e-mails… something is seriously wrong with Home.

    Prove me wrong Sony…

  • I’m not even going to go into my legal argument on how Sony just made NDAs even more worthless because of this transparent, “download application” process. I love imaginary, faux legal contracts. You sell PSN cards to kids… have them sign up for PSN accounts, buy Qore, get the Home Beta, and expect them to turn down the 18 or older policy… furthermore, being older than 18, you expect me to hold to the NDA when a pubescent 15 year old technically doesn’t? Just lift the NDA before you make End-User Agreements look even worst.

And, take the PS Blog down… go back to press releases on your corporate site or whatever you did before. Response comments lack you give commenting readers lack as much substance as your posts. It just kills me how vague you are… so, if you want to stop hurting your business…. Stop.

  • I have the subcription to Qore, and I understood that today Nov 6, Qore subscribers would be invited to Home.

But it seems now that I will get an email over the “next several weeks”? I thought it was today for sure, and I am very disappointed if that is true.

Also if the beta invites come over the next several weeks then there’s no way that Home comes out this year.

  • Sunrae: It’s unfortunate that they still can’t get their ACT together even after announcing Qore subscribers exclusive access. This is pretty much more misleading than I can really take from one software release.

  • I am excited for Home, because it’s something different and new that could add alot to the PS3 and PSN. Am I bummed I can’t get into Home today, absolutely but you know I got invites to the LBP Beta, R2 beta and now K2 Beta and my friends didn’t so it’s fine. I got all excited for Home again but if I don;t get a beta code for some time I won’t care anymore, beause it’s all timing for me. When I did finally get a R2 beta code I played it twice because I had LBP. Next Tuesday I’ll be playing COD World at War daily and also break off for some Mirrors Edge, so if I can get into Home It won’t be until a weekend. So I have accepted not getting a Home Invite and am back to LBP and now checking out the K2 beta. Oh well!

  • When will the PSN update & new Qore drop? It’s almost 7 pm (eastern Standard Time) . I’m really disappointed. Once again!

  • I was woundering the same thing its 4:18 here and 7:18 on the east coast I just checked and qore still not available….

  • the store is updated now for me 7:27 on the east coast

  • I wish i could give my Qore code to my friend one of the reasons i am not on the Home beta much is because my friend i play with daily doesn’t have the beta..i mean i paid for it i should be able to give it to a friend or use it on another name since my ChrispyCritter friends list has been full or close to full for months 100 friends just isn’t enough :(

  • Will this ever be available in the PSN Store in Australia?

  • Hey Sony,

I still have yet to receive my Home beta code. I’m a Qore annual subscriber, and I never received a code to the Resistance 2 beta. Please do not disappoint me again!

  • Alas

Still no code in my mail box. I await goodness with much patience. :)

  • I’m a qore annual subscriber as well and I haven’t received the email yet. I never got my r2 beta email either, and I only managed to get in because one of my friends had an extra code. Alas woe is me :(

  • To #94 and all those along the same lines… GROW UP!!

You say SONY is trying to rip you off by not letting you into a beta because you were too cheap to subscribe to a product they TOLD you would get you access to betas, etc? In fact, way at the beginning they said that, also saying that those who subscribed vs. buying single episodes would have some benefits as well.

This is simply a way for them to enter more folks into the beta and test the system in a CONTROLLED manner. They KNOW that if they let in all those who buy just this issue that they would have about 10 million people on the servers. They can’t afford that at this point and need to control the flow of access.

But what am I doing…you people complaining KNOW this, you just don’t LIKE it. It’s so easy to scream and call names from behind your keyboards so that’s what you’re doing rather than taking responsibility for your actions and just plain being mature! I sure hope HOME has ways to ignore people like you so I don’t have to read your immature rants and drivel there too!

    Have a great day. ;)

  • #119! LOL! At least I HOPE your kidding. Otherwise, you need to “law up.” An NDA you sign is completely separate from a download software agreement, etc. You WERE kidding, right? Sheesh! :) Wiping a tear of laughter from my eye…..

  • I didn’t get my voucher yet, but I still have patience

  • btw, I’m an annual subscriber for qore since June 2008

    Sry for the double post

  • HECK YES!!!! i finally get to try home!! im so happy i got the annual subscription back when qore launched i love it and i get rewarded with awesome stuff! thanks alot guys you rock!

  • I am expecting my golden ticket some time today, though knowing it is coming does tide me over even if it takes a few.

Grandpa Joe and I can’t wait to tour the factory! ;)

  • Where’s my beta code? I have to wait a couple more weeks to receive it in my email? Why weeks? Are there really that many Annual Subscribers to Qore that it will take a couple of weeks to receive the beta keys? What gives, Sony? I’m the sure the technology of today can ensure all Annual Subscribers can receive their beta keys in a matter of a couple of minutes… If it’s not a technological issue, what is it? Is it that difficult to reward your loyal fanbase all on day one?

  • Uhhhh…………Home Beta code………..Please…….Uhhhhhhh……where is it?? Annual subscriber here. Uh…..False advertising maybe?? Uhhhhh………Resistance 2 beta deja vu with Qore anyone??

Come on Sony. Don’t be like that.

  • I feel your pain Cosmo. I’m an annual subscriber since about August or so and I was expecting it today too. I just hope there isn’t too much of a delay. Sony (or Qore), please give me what you promised!!

    :( :( :(

  • dont get why its the day after qore 6 and no keys? can sony be sued over false advertising?

i was under the impression that i would have my key for the beta yesterday, they say it could take weeks? ……how?

  • i bought the Qore subscription for $25 when it first came out, which was around August, shouldn’t i get the PS Home Beta? it wouldn’t let me get the Resistance 2 and SOCOM beta i was supposed to get either… somebody help me, because its really pissing me off. i called Sony and talked to this complete idiot after waiting on hold for almost 45 minutes and he said you have to buy Qore ON October 19th to get it. which is [DELETED] and doesn’t make since.

  • o, ops, just realized you all are having the same problem… my bad

  • WEEKS???? NOoooooooooo. Better not be.

  • whooooo last comment! i win hahaha but no really i win. so ya bring on them home beta codes

  • Still waitin :( ………..

  • It’s a long road HOME……

    Inbox is a empty……..

    Hint hint…nudge nudge……..

    Comeonnnnnnn….

  • i’ve been a subscriber to qore since episode 3 and I still haven’t recieved my invite.

is it being sent out in waves or something?

  • Still no beta keys for anyone it would seem. Usually the forums are littered with at least a few people saying that they have received their codes. The only waves I see are waves of BS. Ha Ha. Just kidding, but not really.

    PSN: HerbertFortoon

  • well if ppl say they have them thru qore then it is BS, i have a few friends with home but there codes came from the home theme download.
