oh, a bit off topic but, tough blow on losing that lawsuit. honestly, i think it’s kinda BS you got hosed there guys, 18.5 mil? i doubt that company would see numbers like that just selling the patent rights. that judge should have his/her head examined. bet they own a 360 or has a kid that does.

I want Sackboy Nathan Drake, jeans, grimy longsleeve tshirt, and ruffled hair.

Sackboy Ratchet

Sackboy Mantel Trooper from Haze (not the best game but the yellow helmet would be really cute on Sackboy)

A World War II army costume would be cute too for Resistance.

If this were blog.us.xbox.com ~~~~~~~~

WHAT?! Achievements again?! I’m so sick of achievements!
Achievements = NO BUY!

No XBOX titles again? No love for that old console. :(

My Little Big Dashboard has waaaaayyyy too many ads!

When will XBox Live be free? Those bums over at PSN get FREE online service!

Where is that refund for my HD-DVD drive?

Why aren’t these new games running at true 1080p? I’m so sick of upscaled 720p, that is like so 2004. The PS3 has games in Full HD now. The 360 is slacking behind. Get with the program.

And also… enough of these crappy puzzle games on XBox Arcade. Put up some real games already.

And finally, WHAT is the plan for this Disc Read Error biz?
eh?
HELLO?!

So Whats the difference in these two other than the top one has the suit AND the guns? They are both the same price, but one has the suit & the other doesn’t. Strange!

Dead Space Obsidian Pack ($1.49)
Download the exclusive Obsidian Suit and Weapon Skin Pack now, available only for the PLAYSTATION 3! Includes an upgraded Level 5 suit, and weapon skins for the Line Gun, Plasma Cutter, and Pulse Rifle, all in jet-black PLAYSTATION 3 colors.

Dead Space Obsidian Weapon Skin Pack ($1.49)
Download the exclusive Obsidian Weapon Skin Pack now, available only for the PLAYSTATION 3 Includes weapon skins in jet-black Playstation 3 colors for the Line Gun, Plasma Cutter, and Pulse Rifle.

And these two? Same story as above, but this set has a different price for each. What’s going on?

Dead Space Scorpion Pack ($3.99)
Download the Scorpion Pack featuring an upgraded Level 5 Suit and three powered up weapons, all decorated in an awesome red Scorpion Skin.

Dead Space Scorpion Weapon Pack ($2.25)
Download the Scorpion Weapon Pack featuring a faster death-dealing Plasma Cutter, Line Gun, and Force Gun in awesome red skins.

Some clarification on all four of these would be nice.

I think it’s a shame that the only meaningful extra to the $60 port of Bioshock on PS3 is something you’ve got to pay an extra $10 for, particularly since the original game can be found for as little as $30 on PC and 360. Will I end up getting it? Sure, after I sell my 360 Bioshock for a cheap used copy of the PS3 version.

That being said — I’m happy to see Harmonix giving some love to Mission of Burma. Never thought I’d see them in a video game, frankly. As for DK, I’m not sure how they handled all the profanity in it, but I’m hoping better than Guitar Hero 3 did with their cover version that altered the lyrics to not even make sense.

Thanks, Grace!

Had a problem with the LBP “Loco Roco” Paid DLC. It installed fine, but I didn’t have to initiate the install as I usually do (and did with the TV Costume DLC), so I had a moment of panic after checking my content. I even downloaded it again to be sure, and again it just auto-installed. Just a heads up! :)

Can’t wait for SFIIHD on the 25th!!! :D
Are we getting a Tuesday update next week, or will Street Fighter just be added by itself??

The good thing about PSOne games on PSN, is that usually those can be played on the PSP too..

so that right there would help the PSP out alot!!!

So release some more PSone games! Or just pay for the licensing fees for them with the various companies…make it happen! your customers are straight up asking for this since the PS3 launched!

At least we could play PS2 games on our launch Ps3′s..

I read on MTV gaming news that Sony was going to be releasing more PSone games in December..

i guess i’ll keep my fingers crossed!

How about some new Wipeout HD tracks (perhaps some from Wipeout and Wipeout XL). The tracks on those games were far superior to the newer tracks.

Please, please, disable pilot assist too. It just makes playing online annoying. I know I am getting schooled by some 8 year old holding down the gas button.

+ LordChocoSlime on November 20th, 2008 at 3:39 pm said:

Somehow, I wasn’t surprised to see the PSP section of the PS Store go another week without any new content. I’m beginning to see a pattern here.

Thursday, 10/23/08: No updates for the PSP section of the PS Store despite the fact that PSP owners can finally access the PS Store on their PSPs thanks to the recent 5.00 update.

Thursday, 10/30/08: The only update the PSP section received this week was a trailer for Super Stardust Portable. Well, it’s better than nothing, I suppose.

Thursday, 11/06/08: No updates… again.

Thursday, 11/13/08: The only update the PSP section recevied this week was a demo for Neverland Card Battles. On the bright side, this demo was pretty good.

Thursday, 11/20/08: Zero updates… yet again.

If Sony’s busy with other projects at this time, then perhaps they should have delayed the launch of the PSP-accessible PS Store and the relaunch of the PC version of that store until a later date. That way, I feel that they’ll have more time to constantly update the PSP section of the PS Store each week and capitalize on the amount of PSP owners who can now access to the PS Store via a PSP or a PC.

@C-h-a-o-s

That’s the same thing I was thinking. What’s the point of finally making the PS Store accessible on a PSP last month when you only added a trailer and a demo to the PSP section of that store during the past five weeks? I understand that Sony’s busy with other projects, but it’s getting so frustration seeing the PSP neglected like this.

if it’s anything like SSDHD, it’s gonna be a day one purchase for me..

i like PSP games that are easy to pop in and out of, and don’t need to worry about if you have to stop playing at any time..

or at least make all PSP games be able to save anytime, anywhere…that would be great!

Also looking forward to Resistance Retribution, because it seems you can use the PS3 controller for the game!!!?!

Seriously guys, did you forget you have a handheld console?

I’m not asking for killer content every week, I’m just asking for something! I don’t care if it’s just an acknowledgment that you have absolutely nothing to offer the people who’ve purchased your handheld, just something.

I don’t yet own a PS3, just the PSP, so this last month seeing nothing of worth come down the pipe has been particularly brutal. Yes, I realize the PS3 is going to be the primary focus, but seriously, isn’t the PSP still a part of the PSN family? With update notices as long as this, you’d think you’d see something, anything, for the little brother, but no – the PS3′s list gets longer, and the PSP’s list disappears altogether.

96

+ TebgDoran on November 20th, 2008 at 4:00 pm said:

You know what I’d love to see? Announcements about the PSone classics you’re planning to release. If you were to announce that you’ve got some classic PSone classics lined up, I wouldn’t care how long it took between dips – I can wait two, three, four months, however far out it is. I just need to know whether or not you’re even trying anymore, so I know whether or not I should still try to care.

So now I lay my hopes to rest for another week. Will the next week see them better? I’ll always hope.
