Hackers are the number one reason why Digital Content wont be the number one thing to replace a disic. as long as it some no life person who sit in the basement or attic or in the back room of there parents house. trying to hack or put a viruses in computer files.

Besides the reason you listed many people like my self like to have physical ownership. You can’t resale digital content, nor can it ever be considered rare or increase in value like many of the PS1 games I own.

I’m getting network error in split screen co-op in Resistance 2, have been searching around the web, and many other people have the same problem….. also i went to myresistance.net and thread’s there are the same with this problem…. so i hope they fix this soon…

Sony need to address the NEW widespread trophies sync error 80022D11 code that many people are getting. I just purchased Motorstorm 2 and started getting trophies, I went to play tonight and I got a notice saying there was an error and I had to quit game. I quit the game and tried to sync and got the error 80022D11.I googled it and many people are having this issue. I can no longer play Motorstorm, Wipeout HD, and most of my trophy related games!! WHAT’S GOING ON WITH THIS SONY? Please help.

Heh. Ive never even heard of this problem. I just googled it and found a topic with tons of people with the exact same problem. I couldn’t help but feel bad for a guy that lost all of his game saves over this.

Yeah… just a heads up there guys… might wanna get onto fixing that issue. There doesnt seem to be a lot of threads on it… but there IS one thread filled with people having the same problem.

I personally love the trophies. :D I’ve had zero problems with my ps3 besides that time where i accidentally dropped it and it smashed… still, you guys repaired it! Thanks. Haha.
This error code is a pretty big deal though. Watch it happen to everybody with a PS3… You guys would be in insane amounts of trouble with your fans. ;) Good luck fixing it.

Reset your controller dude. There is a small pin-hole button on the back of your controller… Push it, plug it into your PS3, unplug it, and it should work fine…

Wow.

Took a look at the posts regarding the sync error 80022D11 and I’m scared enough to keep my PS3 OFFLINE ONLY until they get this worked out.

I’m not at all interested in creating a new user ID or reformatting my entire system to correct the problem if it happens to me.

So … lets hope that firmware 2.53 comes sooner rather than later!!!

I like Valkyria Chronicles ten times more than LBP. To be honest, despite the fact I played the beta, I’m totally disappointed in LBP. A) the lack of movements make it hard at times but most of all annoying. B) the lag in online gaming is still there. People with slower connection speed freeze up my entire system and C) it seems a lot of levels are being removed… even game related levels like Metal Gear Solid, God of War and others. So much for the large possibilities.

Oh and speaking of PS1 games on the PS3… where the heck is Suikoden? Months ago this game was promised to be on the PSN list but still no sign of it. Comparing to Japan, the entire Classic list in America as well in Europe is a “joke”.

And I’d like to shout… if you love RPG’s… GET VALKYRIA CHRONICLES!!!

Anybody else find it amusing that LBP has costumes based on popular licensed properties (God of War, MGS4) … yet they’re moderating out user created levels based on the same properties?

I mean … I can understand Super Mario Bros 1-1 getting the boot … but God of War levels? Really?
