It’s a beta. It is not currently essential to put out new content, new spaces, new trailers etc. because they are still working out the kinks to even the most basic functions, say…these online issues people are going through.
I’m as bummed as the next guy for more stuff in Home, but right now that’s not the main issue that should be addressing. Do you not see the logic?

I can get on just fine now but the experience has been underwhelming so far. I can’t wait to see game spaces that are actually useful like what the concept for the warhawk one was.
Its all part of the Beta process. Home is thirty times bigger than anything X-Box has tried.
Thanks for the update. People need to understand that it says BETA for a reason.
If anyone has complaints about Home please don’t take it out in an angry fashion. Use your knowledge on how to better the service by heading over to the official Home Message Board on Playstation.com. Here you can share you ideas were they are sure to be heard, and may even end up making the service somthing really fun to you.
people first home is just a beta you guys wanted to have an open beta well you got it this is what beta tester like mine self go through . 2 home is not a game if you go in with the mind set thinking its a game you will not enjoy what it really is . home is a place where you interact with other people the old way of meeting people is by playing your favorite game online now its like that but plus 10 you would have never met alot of people this way. yes there will be some butthead but you would have met those same butthead before also thursday post was up to 2000 post today post less then 250 so sony have been listening and working to fix some of the problem by next week they may add more new things in home beta for us to test and maybe the full version will be soon or the end of this month. i know there going to be some one out there with there one liner or post unpredictable facts but the bottom line is home is just a beta now and you guys are tester so test it and help sony improve it.
I like Home, me and my friend both enjoy Home, we met quite a few people, and we’re looking forward to the club feature and things like that.
I just want to know when the boombox gets released, and the tv and stereo for your personal space? I was kind of hoping there’d be more things like that at launch.
hey, can we get a MUTE feature on home. there are a lot of people going around playing music, sometimes good many times bad. it would be nice to be able to mute these folks. i was trying to watch one of the videos in the theatre and there was some jerk running around with babies screaming in their mic
People [DELETED] about this are obviously internet noobs. Have you ever tried playing WoW, FFXI or any other MMO by logging on a crowded area right after a major patch or expansion? It’s the same [DELETED] that’s happening here.
When I heard of the Open Beta all I did was update my client, now I’m not logging on it until next week when people should stop rushing and I can actually enjoy the service
When are you going to create private chat channels for groups of people so not everyone can butt in on your conversation?
There also needs to be more games and possibly different servers or atleast more places to go.

Guys,i have a very strange problem.When i’m trying to connect to the HOME,it says Connection Error Z(7,-2),but i have a good connection and i can surf the web!What is it?

1. thanks for working on my idea about being able to walk about and take a seat in the Theatre auditoriums!
2. the only problem is, you can’t go back out into the cinema itself, you just leave straight to the central plaza?
3. the british home has been down for ages now due to error c931, do you think you could work on that?
4. I’d also like to see the Far Cry 2 Space and Uncharted Space in the UK home also, I feel we’re really missing out.
5. I don’t know how hard this would be for you, but how about one of the Lego games getting a space, where it changes your Home avatar into a lego character, mimicing the clothes and such? I just think that would be really cool!

How about a real – time day/ night cycle? when it goes dark you could have a light show like Blackpool illuminations or Vegas, or fireworks! or both!
this is one of my more serious things I’d like to see in home, please take it into thought.

when you make a space, for a game like Warhawk or CoD 5 or whatever, could you have like bulletin boards for people to check up on with new news about the game, like upcoming expansion packs, patches etc, and even have something like a vehicle as an interactive tool to start a server and invite the people in the area to come and join you?

SUGGESTIONS FOR PLAYSTATION HOME:
1. A first-person view would be great! Especially for the video screens and just so your own head doesn’t get in the way.
2. An option to make movies (mainly in the theatre) full screen. HD movies would be awesome too!
3. You’re probably working on this already, but getting rid of the glitch where you can walk through people.
4. Virtual money. I don’t like the idea of buying virtual furniture and clothes with real money. Maybe give us virtual money to spend on different gear. Then we could earn money by winning trophies or getting high scores or something.
5. I’m sure this is in the process also, but I would like more avatar customizations, mainly with facial hair. I would specifically like the five o’clock shadow option.
That’s all I can think of at the moment. Overall I love Playstation Home, it’s such a great idea!
Oh and thank you for not making it anything like Nintendo’s stupid “Mii” world. I was making fun of my roomate last night because he turned his Xbox 360 on after about 6 months of not playing and noticed how dumb the “New Xbox Experience” is. I’m surprised Nintendo hasn’t sued Microsoft because the 360 characters look very similar to the Mii characters. It even sounds like the same music.

@231 if that didnt work i dont know what else to do you may have to call sony but i believe it will be fix soon you may want to try agin later . also for the people who dont see the icon its under the psn icon also make sure you have no update for your ps3 that you didnt download if none of that work call sony .
Has anyone been able to gain entrance to the upstairs game room in Sully’s Bar? I keep getting “server down” when I try to access the security pad on the door.
