First off, two weeks in a row with Playstation Classics that are worth owning, great job.

Secondly, Luminess really should be $10.00.

Third. Keep the jrpg’s coming.

Im a bit confused, there are new trophies of little big Planet that have to do with the metal gear solid pack, however the pack obviously doesn’t just add new levels, does that mean we just make a level with Rex at the beginning to get the trophy or something? seems to me adding those trophies was a stupid/annoying way of saying buy the add on pack and create more trophy cheat levels in the community. I’m disapointed with the pack.

“wow the pricing on this stuff is really ridiculous. $2 for themes, $12 if you want both the entire set of LBP DLC. you guys are seriously scum.”

Talk about scum. Stop your crying. Some people do nothing but complain.

+ libregkd_117 on December 23rd, 2008 at 3:49 pm said:

@toombzie

While I agree that pricing of the LBP Costumes are overpriced, the level pack is worth it. 6 bucks for 71 new materials, 3 new music, 5 developer made levels, 1 new costume, 1 new switch, the addition of a gun. That is definitely worth the 5.99 price tag.

@Ramza
The LBP level pack comes with 5 developer made level, all MGS themed of course.

On the the front page of the store the big ad for Lumines says it’s $9.99, but when you click on it to buy the game it says it’s $14.99. Just thought someone should be made aware of this.

    Hi Kowak -

    There was mistake on our part, where we listed the wrong price on the Ad. We are working to update it w/ the real price of $14.99. Thanks for catching it!

ok that seems better then, then they really need to improve the writing on the preview of these things as it doesn’t make it clear that you’ll be getting levels, on my first read through sounded like I would just be making them

@Ramza: “create more trophy cheat levels in the community”

Forgot to add this, Liquid’s plot in LBP involves him flooding the LBP world with Trophy and you are the only one who can stop him <_<;;

Suikoden – yes!

Disgaea 3 – yes!

LBP addons – yes!

Amazing job Sony, I think I’m going to die from gaming exhaustion. The amazing Home, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Crash Commander, stream of PS1 classics for my PSP. It’s a mad rush to get through it all before the greatest FPS in history, Killzone 2, is released along with White Knight, inFamous, and Heavy Rain.

Greatest. Console. Ever.

65

@Foxy

There are these things called “laws” that prevent everything from being released at the same time. Certain areas of the world take a longer time processing/rating games then others, and then theres the whole issue of making sure its within the regulations of a certain a country (i.e. have to censor things or such)

If Sony was able to get everything out to the world market simultaneously, don’t you think they would? Its the same story with MS and Nintendo, its just how the industry works.

This is so not the best Christmas update ever. I gotta say once upon a time… when the PS3 had nary a few good games… on December 24th, 2006… a FREE Gran Turismo HD demo hit the store. Now, THAT was the best update ever. Still haven’t beat it yet in my opinion in terms of “wow” factor. Unleashing a Killzone 2 demo on us this year would’ve 1-upped that historical moment, IMO. :)
