Season’s Greetings from everyone at Guerrilla! I hope you’re having a fun and relaxing holiday. The team here are currently taking a short but welcome break from finishing the game, having gone without sleep for almost three months straight. Killzone 2 is so close to completion now, I can almost taste it! (Sometimes I can literally taste it, but that’s probably due to the insomnia or the Christmas turkey leftovers).
Aside from catching up on much-needed sleep, I’ll also be catching up on the back log of games that’s been accumulating since fall. And I’ll be making up for lost time with my friends and family, of course! Come to think of it – I should probably choose my social commitments very carefully, considering the amount of wonderful games that’s come out this season.
Oh, great. Now I’m going to have to start scheduling my holiday activities.
Anyway, here’s my top five favorite PlayStation games from 2008:
- LittleBigPlanet (PS3, Media Molecule/SCEA)
- WipeOut HD (PS3, Studio Liverpool/SCEA)
- GRID (PS3, Codemasters)
- God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP, Ready at Dawn/SCEA)
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3, Kojima Productions/Konami)

Steven pleeeeeeaaaaaassssseeee make sure you talk to someone at Sony or whoever is in charge of marketing and please guys get KILLZONE 2 out there to the media! i want to see commercials of actual gameplay and labeled as actual gameplay…i want to see a midnight launch and like i said commercials and advertisements galore! advertise the hell out of KILLZONE 2 during the SuperBowl it will be perfect..i just want to see this game do extremely well…if any game can convince people to drop cash on the PS3 its this game so please Sony dont slack on this…KILLZONE 2 is your baby and it needs to be take care of properly…no bs lets put one commercial day before launch and all that stuff really try to go all out with this one

I am a huge fan of KZ1 e Liberation and believe KZ2 rocks!!!
I dont buy Resistance 2, Far Cry2 and Bioshock in 2008 because saving money for KZ2!!!

Please let us know if there will be a CE or LE for Killzone 2, I would like to preorder the game, but I do not want to preorder then have to cancel and re-preorder when a CE is announced later. Thanks.
This game need a massive advertising campaign. Sony needs to partner with a drink like Pepsi, partner with BestBuy, gamestop, CircuitCity, Amazon, hell even McDonalds. Commercials on every network, website, magazines. Let the people know Sony’s brainchild is releasing.

I have to agree with Tasser (comment 16). I would not be surprised at all if those websites reviewed KZ2 unfavorably.

Like Tassar said, it’ll be almost hilarious to see all the xbot fansites (aka IGN, 1up) try to come up with reasons to hold this game down. F* ’em! Of all the people who’ve had the beta nearly every single one is raving about it. That’s good enough for me.

Please create also hard core modes without respawn, this allow that people whose like play without “gun and runners”,and more strategic style, can enjoy with the game.

@64 i agree with you but killzone is not a family friendly game so business like macdonaids may want to pull away also erverone from hardcore to causal gamer know about this game sony and guerrilla have been talking , showing game footage , playing the game on erver game show ,E3 and tokyo game show for two years trust me when i say this erverone who play games know about killzone . 360 fan know it coming , wii fan know it coming and yes people who dont have a game system know it coming you will see ads for it on NFL playoff , new shows, lost and 24 .

Home support for Killzone (besides the preordering clothes from Amazon, I want a game space with mini games and rewards for beating said mini games), LBP Helghan and ISA costumes would be a nice reward for beating the mini games at Home….
