In case you missed X-Play on G4 yesterday, we announced that Killzone 2 will officially be in stores on February 27th, 2009 in the United States. G4 also unveiled a new video revealing two brand new weapons, the Bolt Gun and the Flamethrower, which can be seen below.
Another video from developer Guerrilla Games sheds light on the multiplayer mode called “Warzone,” a mode that rotates through different gametypes until the match ends.
Head on back early next week for a special inside look at Guerrilla Games.

So, after Killzone 2, what could we expect after that? I mean, I havent heard any other exciting projects from Sony after the Kllzone 2 release date.
Besides God of War 3, of course.
But thats about it.

at 49 , well theres plenty of ps3 games to look forward in 09 besides killzone 2 and god of warrrrrr 3 , theres infamous, ratchet and clank future 2, heavy rain, the agency, wardevil, uncharted 2 , GT5(hopefully) , white knight chronicles,m.a.g.( im sure theres more but these are the ones i can think of right now)
im in the killzone 2 and i have to say that im sad and happy to see it getting to the end , sad because the online multiplayer is superb and im gonna miss it , happy because i will have time to finish little big planet, motorstorm pacific rift and resistance 2 , and to guerrilla games congratulations , killzone 2 is a very special game , getting that collectors edition for sure , and finally to sony , you make great products i think the best in the business but your marketing team is terrible , i hope you give this game the marketing it deserves, btw im very happy with pulse

I’m not one to spam asking for new features but I’m getting tired of this hiccup and it needs to be put to rest once and for all:
MESSAGING/TEXT/KEYBOARD FREEZE UPS
The patch did absolutely nothing and that was out months ago, and it still hasn’t been addressed. I just froze up 3 times within a half hour, this is absolutely ridiculous.
PLEASE FIX THE MESSAGING FREEZE UPS.

The game looks great! Cant wait for to play this. Hopefully it lives up to the all the hype. The current previews seems to be a little mix matched. Also, the flame thrower looks a little limp. Like there’s not enough pressure from that valve above. Can that be adjusted?

what’s wrong with people!? They buy a what now is 500 or 400 dollar system and they can’t afford a 50,60, 0r 70 dollar headset? not even a usb? I just don’t get that. Anyways, the graphics look grea, this isn’t a must for me as in feb i’ll most likely be getting street fighter 4. This game is getting a ton of hype, can’t say i’m not interested. Hopefully this game doesn’t disappoint, hopefully it makes me feel like i’m part of something like resistance 2 skirmish. hopefully this game keeps me on my toes like resistance 2 death match. I’m sorry but all other shooters have failed at keeping my attention other than rfom….just hope the game is worth the hype

This is off the subject but sony wat I don’t understand is why 360 get the resident evil 5 demo dec.5 n ps3 don’t get nothing thats bull. Its bad enough that resident evil started on playstation n to top it off capcom is my favorite company n always will be. They have there own section on the store wat good is that if they don’t give us the good stuff? Please tell me we r going to get this demo before christmas that would be the best christmas present somebody ever gave me. First post somebody tell me something please. Im more interested n re5 then kz2.

The game looks amazing. A lot of hard work has been done by the development team, now if the marketing team gets a budget, and puts this game in the spotlight this game may reach the audiance it deserves.

@76 lol selling your ps3 if k2 not great ? lol i play it and its that good but u do what you have 2 do but just letting you know a core cost 199 and 99 for your memory then 50 for xbox live and btw its 50 a year and if you have wireless internet that 99 for that product,which come to 447 and that without sell tax and games . lol i dont think you will have to go threw that because it a killer game .

Im in the killzone 2 beta, and I´m sad to see it getting to the end, because the online multiplayer is superb. And happy because i will have time to finish LBP, RB2 and Prince!!!, killzone 2 is a phenomenal!!

I gave my beta invitation code to my brother as a gift, and he was incredibly happy with it. I watched him play, and this game looks spectacular and was action packed the whole time during the ‘Warzone’ match! I just can’t wait!
