Other than that, fix the home servers. Can’t log in since i got access to the beta, so hours ago.

smokey_vols  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:01 pm

10

Ghostm  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:01 pm

Was I wrong? Wasn’t Lumines Supernova suppose to be released today?

11

Wuggyboobeaufuf  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:01 pm

Oh good. No demos again.

Just demonstrates there’s nothing to play on the PS3.

12

Evildude  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:02 pm

13

ftwrthtx  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:03 pm

18

Koroshiya  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:04 pm

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, we will have loads of people complaining about Home here, which has nothing to do with the PS Store update. :(

Also Age of Booty is underrated. I never see anyone play it. You guys should give it a try, it’s pretty fun.

SpookyJuice  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:04 pm

What is this Independant Game Channel on the PSN? Its posted on the PlayStation 3’s Information Board. Can we get any more information and where is this Channel located?

Decent update…

How about we get some new avatars!!!!!!!

22

acerazer1  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:05 pm

You can give people all the free content in the world, they will still find a way to complain. How bout if you don’t like the FREE Home content, you just don’t play it? K? It is a beta after all, and the FIRST DAY

23

bobbyc  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:05 pm

Where’s Lumines?
That was announced in the PULSE episode.

The PlayStation Network is real slow today. Please, sort this out. I thought this sort-of thing only happens with Xbox LIVE. :P

30

Vegaz  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:13 pm

I only want one of the Nirvana songs so I guess I’ll have to wait untill next week but even with The Eagles song it’s still only $4. Who came up with that stupid idea for a $5 minium anyway?

31

lakaihigh  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:14 pm

32

Soul Zonik  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:16 pm

Ow, please, COME ON! Where’s Sonic Unleashed demo?

The Xbox Live service has it and received it this week!

Please, I’ll buy the game, but until there I want the demo!!

33

TheInfectedBy590  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:18 pm

#19

the Indie Games Channel is the last button on the PSN main page.

36

Dark_Vincent  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:23 pm

I was really hoping to get my hands on Lumines today after getting home from work… guess not.

37

JohnnyMoses  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:23 pm

wow. Psp needs more support or it’s going to die. I bought 2 psone games for it last night because nothing good has come out. But, I immediately regret that decision.

For ps3, you need to have a 2 game minimum each week.

However, I do appreciate the updates.

38

astronautcowboy3  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:24 pm

What happened to Lumines? I’m really disappointed.

39

NipGrip  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:26 pm

Hmm..

Dear Sony,

The SOCOM launch was atrocious. The LBP launch could have been better. The HOME launch is failing and being mocked. We were told Red Baron Online was coming. Never did. We were told Lumines was coming this week. Not here. I am your customer, why do you treat me so poorly with regards to releasing your products as you say you will and with confidence that it will work when released? This isn’t helping the PS3.

Good luck with your future endeavors,

-Customer

CitizenInsane27  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:26 pm

I know this is off topic, but the other post seems dead too, why isn’t anyone updating the status of the Home servers to the public? We’d like to know if we should stop trying to log on for a while, or else we crash the servers further. Anyways, an update on that would be nice. Thanks.

41

C-h-a-o-s  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:26 pm

Will the PSP ever get anything decent?

42

TheVesra  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:26 pm

fix the content description for HVB packs. they say the same thing. other than that and no Lumines (my wife is very upset right now, thanks for that one, and pulse lied) nice update

43

tezasaurus  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:27 pm

No Lumines? Not even any info on where it is and when it’s coming? That is super weak. :(

Also, what is with the complete lack of demos? There’s a ton of games that could use demos right now and it feels like ages since we’ve gotten any.

44

MercuryPDX  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:29 pm

#18: I flirted with buying it, but reviews say it quickly gets boring as a 1 player game. Sounds like you’re having a hard time finding multi-player peeps, so that pretty much cinches it for me as a “No”. :(

Also disappointed there’s no Lumines.

“Also also” bemoaning the fact that my PSP has gone from “Fun” to “Paperweight” in under a year. :(

45

Evildude  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:30 pm

sony fix home plzz

46

mywhitenoise  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:35 pm

FIX HOME!!!!

49

norriswolfwood  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:36 pm

Funny how noone is here for this weeks abhorrent update.

But anyhow, I have a small request! The video store is pretty neat, but one thing I want is to have the little shopping bags (like after downloading a demo) after we get a video, it makes it so much easier to see what Ive downloaded demo wise, so why cant we have that in the video section too?

50

Aclar00  |  December 11th, 2008 at 5:37 pm

Can you guys please give a date on when PS1 games are going to be coming. I already have a folder made in my XMB titled “Playstation” that’s just wanted to be filled up with games. I know you have heard all of our cries, but a time table would be nice… that is unless you don’t want to give one considering the divisions recent history on announcing dates and not following them.

Ps. Make it 3rd party titles. Outside of Twisted Metal i can’t say I played very me Sony developed/publish games back then.
