And yet another problem – the Skate Demo is downloading unusually slow.

Well, this update has been a complete clusterf—!
- You promote Savage Moon with no information about when the game will be available.
- You promote the video store promotion in a region that doesn’t have the service.
- You charge for a Disgaea theme that’s advertised for free.
- The Skate demo is downloading unusually slowly.

I’ll hold off downloading the Disgaea theme (something I actually want) in case the price is corrected. And I guess I’ll try the Skate demo later.

Savage Moon…

Sony won’t see a dime from me until it comes out…Unless Killzone comes out first. Wasn’t SM promised in the fall then December, then the 12/23…Now its 09. Europe has it. We don’t even have a date to look forward to. Where did Sony get their marketing team?

I’m trying to match Sony’s absurdity with my own.

I made this account just to whine about Savage Moon.

They are not acting in their own interest by keeping a release date even a rough estimate from us.

That’s funny; I made an account just to complain about Savage Moon too. If they would at least say anything, it doesn’t have to be an actual date, just someone saying they’re listing but can’t say anything at the moment would be nice.

73

+ MetalCatacombs on January 15th, 2009 at 7:11 pm said:

Sometimes they reply to posts do they not?

I imagine other than not caring or knowing that there is a real demand for Savage Moon–they must follow the marketing diagram to the letter…It MUST be released on this date for MAXIMUM marketing impact! and “Hush hush, can’t speak a peep about the release date.” Lest we detract from sales THIS week…

grr

Add me to the group of people that signed up for an account just to ask where Savage Moon is, my ps3 isn’t always hooked up to my internet connection and I’ve been expecting Savage Moon every update for the last month.

If it had been up this week I probably would have splurged on Magic Ball as well and now I probably won’t end up buying it. At least give us an update.

Sony get it together. WHY does it take until 7pm CST to get the store updated? Come on. That’s not acceptable at all.

Second, some of the posters in the comments are correct, download speeds are slower than continental drift, and it’s NOT my connection. my computer is fast as usual, PSN is just being a lazy pig tonight.

Third, I don’t see a Skate2 demo up there. The newest demo I see is GTI Club, so unless that’s something for Qore you should get that up there.

Sony, you have GOT to up your game, these little annoyances in your service and your product in general are really starting to add up in the wrong way.

This update has been a complete lack luster event. Once again you fail to mention that the Disagea theme is free if you buy the all character download option as it’ll automatically be in your download list. You promote Savage Moon yet it’s not out. You promote a video store that is not out in a certain region above (sorry my Canadian neighbors). You give us a $4.99 expansion to a game that from my understanding gives us the trophies it had since launch but couldn’t be accessed. So essentially I paid $4.99 for a patch?
