Don’t mean to spam… if this can be considerred spam, but i think the blog should put up a selection of features that we want in our next firmware update. The PS blog has quite simply become the voice of the playstation community and does so much to keep us informed, they should do this to help get our wants across.
So i think a poll or something that we can vote on would be nice; the PS3 does so much already, i think it would be speaking a lot of the community and the brand if we have a sysyetm where the users know exactly what they are getting after having voted.

Until the speed of the network is improved, I can’t see buying any video from the store. It currently takes longer to download a title than it does to watch it. Two friends at work have PS3s and have the same issue so it isn’t just my network.
It’s a shame because I really like the idea of the video store.

Dark Floors is a pretty tripped out movie. Can’t say I really understood the ending though.
Ok the top SD 1-6 movies aren’t even really good movies.
It’s nice to see that the top HD movies is something I’d agree with.
I see Fringe has made it to the PS Store! :D
These video store updates are so much better than the game side of things so far in 2009.

No, us Canadians don’t really get angry. We get mildly upset (and then apologize for it).
But in certain cases, we can get VERY mildly upset (to the point where we even consider skipping the apology).

I hope someone at this company is listining this week. After the announcment of $2.9B in losses forcasted this week, you guys had better be geeting your acts together. There is absolutly no reason at all why a company with this much media content should be in a situation like you are in. So here are a few tips to stop these losses.
1. DRM – Same across both the game store and the video store. Like I have said before, lead the way with Sony pictures. People are to scared to by content off PSN.
2. Rentals – Consumers have the option to rent. Sony has to make money, stop playing this childish game, and make all movies avaiable for rent.
3. Prices – SDTV shows are rediculously priced. I can buy the Blu-ray set for the same as you SD set. Get your prices in line.
4. Packages – TV Shows can be bought as a package deal, PSN should not be differant than elswhere.
5. Options – Every piece of content on the store should have,
SD Rental (minus TV)
HD Rental (minus TV)
SD Buy
HD Byu (720p)
Blu-ray Buy
This weeks bonus;
Get this service out in Canada, EU, and Austrailia.
