Wait for final Rosters before releasing the game? That sounds harsh! I should be playing this game right now... with a weekly option to download an updated roster! I could already be watching Texiera in Pinstripes!

Does anyone know if the psp version will have a "manage" mode again like last year? If so, will it include a "one pitch mode" like high heat did to help speed up game play?

Yes in the last 8 years it has been split between east coast and west coast. But to me that sucks. I'm a Braves fan I am wanting Brian McCann to get some love but I doubt that will ever happen with him being a catcher. But what about someone from the south or midwest?

I'm fine with the pick...Pedroia represents hard-nose baseball.

Why not break tradition and try this: break the country up into segments, and send different cover athletes to each region? That might appeal to the local communities more.

However, at the end of the day, the game is the best because of what's on the inside, not the outside.

They should of put TEAM photo of the Tampa Bay Rays. Start a new tradition with TEAM photo instead of an indvidual player.

instead of giving it to that guy who buy most media accounts is not the true AL MVP.

I am guessing why it took so long is probaly some MLB players turned it down.

HELLO CAPS LOCK THIS IS A GOOD POST WITH NO PUNCTUATION!

Seriously man, tone it DOWN a peg or two. No need to be mashing caps lock before you make a post.

This game is slated for release on March 3rd, that's two weeks after teams report to spring training, which means they already have a good idea who's going to be on what team. Keeping in mind they can update the rosters every single week, it's not really that big of a deal. Get the game, wait a month til the season starts, download a roster update and you're all set. No need for the ragey caps locking post.

I LOVE MLB THE SHOWS BY FAR BEST BASEBALL GAME OUT THEIR ON ANY SYSTEM. BUT THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE IS HOW EARLY IT GETS RELEASED I THINK THEY SHOULD WAIT UNTIL ALL THE ROSTERS ON EVERY TEAM IS RELEASED BEFORE THE MAKE THE GAME SO IT COULD KEEP UP WITH THE MLB ROSTERS BECAUSE IF YOU THINK ABOUT WHEN THE GAME IS RELEASED SOME PLAYERS THAT LEFT ONE TEAM TO ANOTHER ARE STILL ON THE SAME TEAM THEY LEFT THAT'S BULL CRAB. THEY SHOULD WAIT UNTIL MLB RELEASE'S THE NEW ROSTERS PERIOD THEN BRING THE GAME OUT.
